I joined The Lords Chosen during the Abuja Crusade. I thank God for making me a chosen.

I joined because of miracle, though I was not consistent. I joined in the year 2009 but left and then came back in 2011.

During the Mgbidi, Imo state crusade, I became born again and made the necessary restitution and things changed for my good. My case was mentioned in the Mgbidi programme, "THAT MY WONDERS BE MULTIPLIED" and healing of HIV was granted to me. I went for test and it turned negative.

HIV is not a death sentence . its an evil spirit. I've had 3 similar cases turned negative after prayers to the doctor amazement. While we have some healed ,we still have some who couldn't receive. But we still thank God for his grace increasing in his church

Pastor chris would never say such things. Homosexuality is clearly condemned in the bible. But why would a person who calls himself a man of God speak lies against others just for his own acceptance. False accusation is a terrible sin.

This is inspiring! The Apostle Paul here was trying to decide whether to live or to die. This tells us that death is subject to us; we reign over death. Until Jesus came, Satan had the keys of death. Men and women were all their lifetime subject to bondage because of the fear of death.

However, Jesus put an end to that through His victory over Satan, death, and the grave. He thus liberated all men from the fear of death. Hebrews 2:14-15 says

. . ."Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage."

When Jesus died, He went to hell, the devil’s territory, defeated him and the cohorts of darkness, and took back the keys of death and hell: "I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death" (Revelations 1:18). He dealt with the problem of death when He arose triumphantly from the dead, ushering man into a new life. Today, no one who’s born again need fear death, for Jesus has defeated death: it’s the last enemy that will be destroyed, but already, it’s been defeated.

Today, Satan has no authority to take anybody’s life at will because he doesn’t have the power of death anymore. He can only make empty threats, and try to deceive men or make them destroy themselves. Refuse to let death have the dominion. Recall the Master’s charge in Matthew 10:8; He said,

. . . . "Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give."

He gave us dominion, not only over Satan, sickness and disease, but over death as well. Blessed be God!

1. God’s judgment on sin(abortion, age falsification, exam malpractice, murder, adultery, fornication, Idolatory, Imorality, etc) and sinners(abortionist, liers, Idolaters, etc)
2. living Holy life
3. Chastity
4. The great commission(Evangelism)
5. Brotherly love
6. Salvation from sin, e.t.c
all I see is arguments for & against tithe,trinity,etc
why focus on all that?

If you see a need meet it, don't talk about it.

The word means "minister " or messenger . So a christian minister who serves is an angel in this sense . It also means pastor .

Revelation 2:12

So we have the human angels by the virtue of their ministerial office and we have spiritual beings called angels who are spiritual servants

You made good point but It was customary for married women to be covered . Just like the Alhaji wives called "eleha" in the Muslim world . But the passage in question was dealing with customary issue . A married woman covers her head on public as a custom . It doesn't apply to girls .

Zikkyy: It is not advisable to take the various teachings in isolation. they must complement each other. When i read the OP, i take into consideration other teachings i have heard/read.
To honest that's exactly my understanding of the extract below......

If you go about bible study that way, you will mess things up. We must recognize the context of a writing , I'f not , we will judge and criticize even Jesus himself because certain things will look contradictory .

Matthew 7:8

Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.

Who do we believe ,

James gave condition ,Jesus didnt give condition. Because of the context by which they spoke. If we criticize from one perspective ,it may look as though you score a point ,but when we ask genuine question there will be clarification

I already answered in my previous post , we are blessed already without condition, but to lay hold on these blessing ,there are principles in Gods kingdom to live by. Worship ,prayer ,giving ,etc are all principle , they don't make us acceptable with God, we are acceptable by the blood of Jesus , we are blessed on the account of his death, but we can be blessed and die in poverty. If a man doesn't exercise faith, if a man doesn't give,if a man doesn't pray , he will miss benefits in God even though it has his name printed on them from heaven.

Jesus said I will be with you,but in another place he said .

Zikkyy: You people like to confuse sha. if everything you need is within you, what's all the talk about tithe and seed sowing all about then you said the Christian is like Jesus, and we know Jesus did not tithe or sow seed to solve any issue.

There's no talk about sowing of seed in this thread. Tithes,offerings, prayers,alms giving etc are principles in God. dont jump on one sided truth ,get the balance. you could as well say we dont need to worship God or pray to him again since everything is inside you.

God answered by sending us the Holy Spirit. That was all we needed that we didn’t have, but which we now have. With the Holy Spirit coming into us,we got everything we could ever want in life.Let me put it this way for you to have a clearer picture: when a man wants anything, which he feels he has no ability for, he prays to God and expects God to answer. However, that isn’t God’s dream for man. God didn’t create man to be limited or disadvantaged; He didn’t want man to need anything from outside him. That’s why He made the God-life available through Christ Jesus. When you received Christ, you received inherent life that requires no aid or support from outside.

Like Jesus, you not only have the God-life to the full,you also received the Spirit without measure (John 3:34); thus, all you need is inside you. What are the good things you desire? Bring them forth from within you with your words! What do you want; what do you need; what do you want to see outside? John 7:38 says, out of your belly shall flow rivers of living water. Go ahead and bring forth good things from within you:

"A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things…" (Matthew 12:35).

Ancestral curse can operate through names also, if someone is named after a dead relative. There are cases whey the named person live his life in the patern like the dead . Sufferings , rejection etc. the name may not necessary be bad but because of who it is associated with. The curse and the demons in the dead may be invoked against the living by the reason of the naming . And the curses that were evident in the dead person manifest in the living

Hemical: if you read my post, you'll see how careful I was of things that can't be confirmed. For the sake of clarity please remove HIV and barrenness. About the leg ulcer issue, you are certain it cleared off the very instant you laid your hand on the person or prayed for the person?

The HIV had test before and after, 3 tests before prayers which tested positive and 3tests after prayer which tested negative. Plus the government hospital test . Federal medical centre . The leg ulcer was treated for two years without cure. After prayers ,the pains stop and the wound got healed completely about a week or two , I might have to confirm which one.

I have the case of blindness restored , deafness. I have some of them captured on video.

Jesus was not there from the beginning as a separate person from God . Jesus emergence came with regards to mans salvation as a second Adam .
