This is not specific to football. Government and private cooperations are also guilty. Many Nigerians know that they can get away with this sort of behavior by bribing someone else. Police, members of your own ethnic group, random people etc. Few people face consequences here.
Many people are shortsighted too. We care more about our image than doing the hard work. That's why The NFF is always looking for yes men.
Anyway, let me not bore you with an essay. We all know that most of our problems in this country (including football problems) are self inflicted.
