Anytime I remember this 2 year ban of basketball by the ignorant Sunday Dare and his ministry of sport, I'm always close to tears. We went from being the best in Africa to now starting from scratch. Cool baba,Nigeria losing to Ecuador shows that we still have a lot to do,irrespective of players we paraded.....I remember a makeshift SE team beat France in a friendly in Paris.We can't really say much on Peseiro now but he already lost two matches as eagles gaffer,let's see what he has to offer during Afcon qualifier.....Good to see guys talking about how eagles played than talking about losing,seems there is positivity in Peseiro style of play,hope he will delivered.

I will not really talk much about the outcome of the friendlies cos we last won a friendly match in 2019 against Egypt.Peseiro should be aware that Nigerians don't joke with results, hence he need to act fast and bring the winning mentality back into the team.

However, opportunity played a big role in the early start players like Tammy get. The point might not fly in Europe because they lack zero idea of the challenges an African football kid gets.

Look at the picture below, he could not play for Arsenal because of work permit despite his immense talent. Yaya had to go on a journey which an English kid would have walked into Arsenal.

That is a fact. Our players find it tougher in the start. So that is why Tammy leads in goals.
