you are right Rockyrascal: a handful of football analysts/writers come to this group daily to feed on the discussions that usually go on here about the SE. Most of them are active on football Twitter. |

another dream.. they played us very tight.. lots of zonal marking .. we had very tight spaces to operate JohnBullMySon: Yeah, I meant 1- nil in our favour. |

I saw this but I didn't want to say, because it went against my previous prediction of two wins for us. I am still hoping the previous comes to pass. We have a big advantage playing the second leg at home. modified Let me clarify, it might also have been a 1-0 for us in the first leg. But the second leg was definitely 2-0 in favor of Nigeria JohnBullMySon: I don't think Ghana will score more than a goal in the two legs.
If I should predict, the game will end 1-nil or 1 all in Kumasi and 2 nil in Nigeria. |

ok no wahala. na safari komekn: I did not bring the Tega matter into this discourse.
All I said was they are two different types of player. With very different attributes that it's a matter of preference and each particular teams DNA. |

We should come away from Ghana very comfortable.. In another 90 minutes we will complete the job. We must be very tactical in our approach. |

Without any sentiments, If I had a team today I will rather have Osimhen, because Osimhen still has a high ceiling. And even his level at the moment he is a scary forward. Goals count don't tell the whole story. safarigirl: There is one otimkpu on Twitter trying to force the idea that Tammy is better than Victor
We say bring numbers, the otimkpu said Tammy had scored 21 goals and Victor has only scored 15
Based on their numbers in Europe, we have Osimhen on 15/28 and Tammy on 21/39
There is no argument that puts Tammy as better than Osimhen |

yes na.. why Komekn dey bring Tammy matter? it's not like we did not try to cap him forgiveness: I know you are just whinnying. |
Sports › Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 8:59pm On Mar 20, 2022 |
Even Sadiq is better than Tammy komekn: Do you recall when you said that Tega Abraham is just a championship level player and he will not go beyond that essentially.
He was the highest goal scorer in Chelsea team 2019/20 and he is essentially been a top Goal scorer everywhere he has been for the past 6 seasons.
And today he scored two goals bringing his goal tally in his first season in Seria A to 15 goals and counting.
Victor and Tammy are two different types of forward players. One plays with a Fiery Rage and aggressive relentless determination I haven't seen in any player currently.
And the other with a finesse ,balance and technical astuteness with football intelligence that seems unbecoming for someone so tall.
Who is better it's a question of either bias or preference. |

I am expecting Thomas Partey to be very physical. He has shown us that side when we took on Athletico Madrid in that friendly. I am happy to welcome physical DMs like Bonke. We should match them well with every antics they may play. daveP: Imagining Aribo with a masterclass at Kumasi.
I hope we aren't going there to sit back and wait for counter Sha. This is the worst Ghana team in a decade or two. I expect some individual brilliance from Partey tho. But their Keeper will definitely not be ready for Osimhen. |

Our opponents dey call up players here and there from farmers leagues and we are here criticising players that play in Ligue 1. So if we do not have player in the top tier leagues we will just stay home and allow Ghana to walk over us? modified na komekn I dey ask oh. At least since you have been complaining here you have been unable to name 10 players so that we can all join hands with you and push for call up.. at least OGN writers come here to feed on our discussions. Rockyrascal: Innocent bonke as been called up to replace the injured Wilfred ndidi |

maybe Tunisia, but you could as well have shown evidences of my "predictions" I am not a prophet. My position is based on my conviction. It's perfectly okay to disagree.. One thing you can be sure is that I will not be in the pitch for either side on both occasions. Meliforme: Easy Sir.
You predicted that Nigeria will fall to Egypt, we saw the converse. You predicted that Nigeria will rout Tunisia. we were beaten.
I want us to defeat Ghana, but you coming out to prophesy our win will not make me doubt our triumph. Maybe your prophesy will work this time. |

So long shot is now Okoye’s weakness. Someone should tell me any goals he has conceded like that besides that of Tunisia. codemaniacs: chidi1 is right..
But you guys are narrowing it to only partey.
If any Ghanaian player takes a long shot Okoye may not catch or save the shot. The only good thing is Okoye is match fit..
The S.E players must mark and overcrowd any Ghanaian player with the ball in the S.E side of the field with at least 2 players.
Because if they ball watch like they did against Tunisia then S.E will be in trouble and giving Okoye to much work to do. |

Akpos will need more time to really show us his stuff. This is why he should not be turning down invites. Na himself he dey do. chrisooblog: Chief he featured in 4 solid games which is enough to see what a player is all about but his performances were very average to put it mildly.
How many times did Ebuehi, Zaidu and Aribo play before we saw their qualities?
Even Sadiq Umar with less minutes played was beginning to settle but we should make excuses for Akpos. |
