blamingthedevil: Former President Goodluck Jonathan, Former Ghanaian President John Mahama,Former Kenya President Kenyatta, Vice President-to-be, Governors, Well-wishers in early congratulatory visit to Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu at his residence in Abuja on Tuesday
Bayelsa with just 9 LGAs should be like Dubai (correction - Rivers State not Bayelsa. But still...).
They can have a marine conservatory/ aquarium.
Keep dolphins and manatees there.
Charge NGN 1000 - 1500 per visitor. 2000 during festive periods.
100 visitors daily = 100k. During festive periods 500 visitors = 500k - 1 million.
But our guys.... peppersoup first. Funny how we think in this part of the world; we just want to satisfy our momentary appetite rather than something that is 'generative'. Think about the dollars that single dolphin could have been generating for that LG in the next few years. Rather, the pressing appetite had to be satisfied immediately PS - I was at the Dubai Underwater Zoo in December 2020. I alone spent 50k+ with my babe. Ask around, there are ways they easily bleed you out of your money.
You are in the land of the of the living. You are not a living corpse. No temptations or situations that you're in that is permanent. Be of good cheer.
280Bracket: I'm a living corpse. Literally speaking. Please I need any financial help to resuscitate. Thank you.
Racoon: Nothing new! Another nepotic appointments! Must another Aboki replace Buratai as army chief? So what of Lt.Gen. Lamidi Adeosun that is still young in the service who ruthless dealth with BH? Congrats Alao!
Thank you for noticing this; I was going to mention 'where is Adeosun, the ruthless Lt. Gen. senior next only to Buratai'? He will have no option than to retire; he cannot be subordinate to a Major General. Another nepotistic tendency of Buhari.
Sheuns: Okay. Could have been possible the Nigerian Forces were notified not on the mission but permission to access the airspace. That mission was too classified.
Even that airspace sef was infiltrated and they told our armed forces after they’re done with the mission.
Thank you. I have been telling people that was what happened : the US. only acknowledges you only when the mission had been concluded in order not to embarrass you in the eyes of the public. They won't share operations involving their Special Forces with you.
baby124: All of them are cowards. Nobody wan to answer questions at ICC. Decision to use the army or any force should go through the NASS. Then no political figure can use them for games or grudges. They are our army, we pay for them. They also should not be appointed every time someone new is president but promoted from within. Now we have political security chiefs killing Nigerian army.
For example, during the George Flloyd riots and protests, and President trying to bully the American military into using force against the protesters, the Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff said the allegiance of the U.S. military is to the U.S. Constitution and not to any President.
fineboynl: What meeting is that? We are talking about publishing those that was in lekki shooting unarmed protesters... And what is so difficult to list their names. Those that was there in lekki should be exposed.
All of this will end in sanction of the military and government. No country can buy nor sell from Nigeria.
Since the body of the dead was quickly remove. There are some families who still don't know yet if they lost anyone in lekki.
So what happened to Operation Crocodile smile now? Have they suddenly forgotten the annual 'festivity?'
Please don't always quote out of context, endeavour to publish the whole truth. Your post is bias and not misinforming readers as regards the context of the entire video and conversation he had with Seun Okinbaloye: he said he had moved on and that it was inconsequential grieving over which zone didn't vote for him, that it was time to move Ondo state forward. He didn't sound vengeful and bitter. Always post the entire video.

Keep on deceiving yourself. And you think BEDC will listen to you? You have failed, NERC, Power Minister and the rest
What of your Finance Minister spending millions or is billions of Naira to feed absentee primary school children during same Covid-19 lockdown? Wby only the South?
nero2face: I wish they could attack more international bodies, maybe that could make other Western countries unleash their Army on Boko Haram, if we keep depending on this political party called Nigeria Army to defeat Boko Haram then we're not being sincere to ourselves.
Something is just not right somewhere. How could the Chadien Army put these same Boko haram insurgents on the receiving end, beating the retreat, and literarily pleading for relief, yet the 'big capable' Nigerian Army is finding it difficult to cope with them? Something is not right somewhere.
You better do and intensify cos the way you have been passive and lackadaisical about it have been sending wrong signals to the rest of the country; you have been cold and seemingly uninterested in it. Giving the impression that it is not 'yours' for the taking. Other parts of the country are watching you and your reaction; Let them know it's your turn right now and 'birthright.'
frankline461: He is unhappy and whose business is that?
I have been unhappy about the state of Nigeria for years now, how the youths have incorporated the 'get rich fast' mentality and no one is thinking about making innovations and inventions that will shake the world, all they want to do is sit behind their phones and laptop with a fake profile and chat with sex/love starved men and women for money and cards.
Maybe I can be the change, maybe you can too, it's starts from individuals. Get a laptop or a phone, start learning something online. Programming, digital marketing, vtu, writing, etc.
Stick to what you're doing, and maybe your case can be like that of ikorodu boys who are going from ikorodu to USA for free.
Sorry, we don't have more important issues
Thanks. Be the change. May God give many youths a conscience like yours in this country.
CzarChris: The problem I have is that this is a public forum, I would have posted documents here, but it's too sensitive to be posted here so let me overlook them. IPPIS scammed us. I have the templates agreed by the AGF and the Director of IPPIS to be paid workers. Only to be paid just consolidated salaries? Don't worry, just let your paymasters know that they will have themselves to blame with the events of the coming months. So many of my colleagues and me inclusive are taking our services to were it would be appreciated, and fillers from different universities are all moving towards the same direction. Just be prepared, the brain drain that will happen in this country very soon will be epic. Bookmark this comment.
Don't mind them. They have no idea what they're getting this country into. Many medical practitioners and health workers are on the stand-by now waiting for the lockdown to be over so they can emigrate to 'greener pastures' where they'll be better appreciated. Imagine Nurses in France earning close to €3,000 in a month, and you want to stay in Nigeria where indiscriminate and ridiculous taxes will make your take-home per month to be hovering around N100,000 courtesy IPPIS.
Wiseandtrue: The Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System (IPPIS) is an information Communications Technology (ICT) project initiated by the Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of payroll administration for its Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs)
Many Nigerians are their own problem, they just look for any opportunity to cripple the economy
I don't understand, why are workers afraid of IPPIS
Cause the way I see it, this IPPIS will eliminate ghost workers and so many inconsistencies
I think those fuelling this crises are those at the top benefiting from the corrupt payment!!!
As long as you get your agreed salary, then what seems to be the problem
You are a liar. A propangandist for IPPIS. That is what you people always say at the beginning, '...eliminate, curtail ghost workers.' It's a lie and a deception. You end up 'amputating' people's salaries arbitrarily. You tax their Gross salaries instead of the Basic. You tax allowances inclusive and even stop peculiar ones. Stop misinforming the public.
Even the Pension and Housing Fund you have deducted from the Federal Tertiary Institutions, into which account have you deposited them now?
You that you are defending IPPIS, are you on it yourself? Is CBN, NNPC, INEC, FIRS, and NPA on it?
So do you want to say 'a ghost worker' cannot be added 'on top' right there in Abuja by someone in the IPPIS office? You people lack credibility, that is why Nigerian workers dislike you. Let PENGASSAN join at their own peril.
humilitypays: na the same thing na, not even up to 1yr, he is still the minister, his failure is still holding power down in Nigeria, Fashola na failure
Get past hate please. Count the days, consult the Calendar; it's more than a year now. For your record, when he was there, he put the Discos on their toes and at the edge of their seats.
humilitypays: Lolz, op you are taking Fashola the minister of darkness serious Wonderful
Fashola was overhyped when he was a Governor. Even a mad man will function as Governor of Lagos State because Lagos is like a country inside a country with huge IGR to fund any project, secure any amount of project loans and loot enough and still have enough left.
Don't ever use Lagos Governorship to measure the good leadership skill of any politician, if you want to know good leader, take the person to go and govern states like Ekiti, Abia, Osun, Benue, Taraba, Ebonyi, not a rich cosmopolitan state like Lagos
Fashola is a failure who looted even money for sinking borehole, used millions to create stupid website
Are you in Nigeria presently? Please check today's date please and glance through Newspapers of the past one month to know current affairs. Stop hate. Fashola left thatoffice since May 14th 2019.
You are wrong. Colin Powell was Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff. Note, 'Chiefs', and not 'Chief'. Colin was in that post during George Bush, the Senior, Presidency early 90s. You could be Army, Navy, Airforce, Marine Chief of Staff, but not Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff and vice versa. Colin Powell was not Chief of Staff of the Army. This new Chief of Staff, the first of its kind, as an African-American, is now the head of U.S. Airforce, USAF. His father was a Colonel in U.S.
This is unprecedented because the U.S. Airforce is totally technical. This is the very first time an African American man will head one of the U.S. military forces. Mind you, Gen CQ Brown, jnr, had been Commander of the U.S. Pacific Fleet PACAF, before his nomination earlier this year since the retirement of the then Chief of Air Staff is June ending.
However, history will tell us that the African Americans broke into the U.S. Airforce during segregation in the 1940s, during the Second World war WWII. They were known as the Red Tails Angels. They wreaked havoc on the German skies.
No electricity here in Akure. Sometimes, it is 3hrs in more than 24hrs. Nothing to write home about. Their distribution is from Osogbo. Akure, as big as it is, is probably solely dependent on a 332Kva substation. Consequently, electricity has to be rationed district by district.
