Congratulations are in order for the Nigerian artiste WizKid Ayo Balogun as his album 'Made in Lagos' becomes the 1st Nigerian album to spend 1 year on the Billboard world albums chart.

After it's arrival on the billboard charts in October 2020, the album has spent 4 weeks at no1, which is also the longest time a Nigerian artiste has stayed at the no1 spot - the only other album being Burnaboys twice as tall which was at the top spot for 1 week.

Longest charting Nigerian albums on the billboard charts are as follows:
1. WizKid 'made in Lagos' (2020) - 52 weeks
2. Fela 'the best black president' (1999) - 45 weeks
3. Burnaboy 'African giant' (2019) - 36 weeks
4. Davido 'A good time' (2019) - 25 weeks
5. Burnaboy 'Twice as tall' (2020) - 12 weeks

Nigerian popular singer, Davido has congratulated Anambra Governor-elect, Professor Charles Soludo on his election victory, WonderTV Media reports.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Wednesday announced the former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) as the winner of the governorship contest.

Davido, who has always been vocal about politics, said that the victory by Professor Charles Soludo was well deserved. He also congratulated the Anambra people.

I still didn't see it as anything untill last night when the girl I've been dating after Corona break, we met at the teaching practice, we spend most of our time together she literally lived with me ...but she went to Abuja, her parents place last week Saturday, she's been giving me attitudes until last night when she came out bluntly with same story, that her Mom saw it in the dream that her current boyfriend is not the person she should marry, that cries await her if she dares to..

What is going on with me... I'm confused, this one is affecting me.

Mirabel Obi, the first year student from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, who went viral for her twerking video and alleged explusion from the school has reportedly attempted suicide by drinking sniper, Siggy reports.

Mike, a close friend to Mirabel who revealed the information to us earlier today said that he thought the information was a joke when he received it but he called to confirm and it was true and made known that he has already visited her

Eyewitnesses to the incidence of the attempted suicide made known that she was given red oil in order to rescue the situation before she was taken to the hospital

However, it will be recalled that Mirabel in her previous interview with myschoolnews disclosed that she felt like drinking sniper because of the negative treatment meted out to her by the school management following the viral twerking video of her on social media.

It will also be recalled that she revealed in the interview that her mental health as at that moment was zero percent and that she has been going through a lot as a result of body shaming from fellow student.

Meanwhile it has not been confirmed if the attempted suicide was as a result of the above issues she listed in the interview session with myschoolnews.

But as of recent information reaching Siggy revealed that Mirabel who was rushed to the medical center for treatment was visited by her father earlier today and was taken home.

Good evening nlders I’ll be very brief and precise .This thing has been bothering my mind and I felt I should seek for reasonable and experienced opinions from senior men them on this forum .

The issue is .. is it a bad thing to cook in my Brothers house (although he has a wife and kids ) .His wife felt bad yesterday cus I cooked small okra and Eba cus I was hungry . The only food she likes me to cook in her kitchen is indomie . I feel if there Is love what’s there if I cook anything I want to eat in the kitchen .must I always take permission to cook
