Chai! "Saraki ti take over". How times change. It would have been unthinkable that I might write such just a year ago. Begging is the best course of action for Ndume. He must have seen from the way things are going that relying on the weak vegetable called buhari is useless as even the president can't help himself. With this, Mr saraki has the opportunity to consult further with the northern leaders to the detriment of buhari. These are taught times for the sick president, if he survives his bad health, his administration might not survive this ruthless Senate. If saraki is wise, he would try to make peace with Tinubu and make some consultations with obasanjo. And also the south east. If he can do that, I think he is the next president already. I never liked the man but there is no denying the fact that he may be the most powerful political figure in Nigeria today |
It's probably too late, saraki has full support /control of the Senate. He holds all the aces, budget, bills, confirmations etc. Buhari would have to retreat and make the cct drop the case. Now if you were saraki, would you stop when you ve gained so much momentum? Nothing can be done I'm afraid . I'm sure the Senate is waiting for baba to commit the tiniest impeachable offense to oust him. Saraki is already making consultations, if he can get enough support from the north, he will take the step knowing the south wouldn't bat an eye should it happen. Baba most likely would quietly see out the remainder of his tenure while the Senate and the cabal call the shots. The way things are going if the APC doesn't get torn into shreds, he won't be nominated for a second term that's if he survives his ailments or impeachment. He will become the worst president ever in the history of this country. |
hush15:there are basically four types of degrees, associate, bachelor's, Masters and phd(doctor of philosophy). There's nothing like seminar degree, workshop degree or whatever Dino meant by his 'Harvard degree'. If he attended a seminar at Harvard, at best all he would possess is a certificate of attendance of the said seminar. Pls note that a certificate of attendance is not a credential, which means you don't need to pass a test or exam to get unlike credentials such as a degree |
Lmao Dino don mad since 40bc the video funny die, e even synced the melody to his dance steps. Na waa for this Nigeria. D kain bourbon whiskey wey go dey dem locker for that house of comedy dem dey call Senate go mad gan |
Jammiiee:this is Africa, we don't have to copy the Americans and Europeans in everything we do. We have values, respect is embedded in most of our cultures. I won't compromise that no matter how westernized I become. No one should spread an unverified story(just to get paid) , if the story can in anyway harm another person . it's barbaric, inconsiderate and just wrong. FAIR IS FAIR |
klassykute: lol who no go fear SR. Dino say hin mad, this one is madder |
Jammiiee:You just don't get it. I'll tell you I'm in support of this to protect myself too from those useless pple who feed off peoples emotions. If in the future I'm involved in a blackmail /slander expose, I don't want any idiotic blogger to just write against me without verification or investigation. I'm entitled to my privacy and even if someone must write, they better be dawn sure it's the truth. Retraction of falsehoods won't cut it for me |
holysina:tell them abeg, pple will just be shouting freedom of speech anyhow as if it is lawful to slander someone else. There's freedom of speech when applied with common sense. |
Abeg make holyfield take am easy with our Jagaban Anyway if all the 'ajesara' wey baba chop no kill am, ordinary physical push can do nada. Ile Odua o ni baje Long live Jagaban of Africa |
divicode:abi I was wondering why he was so pained he couldn't make a point. I was looking at the mumbo jumbo trying to make sense out of it. Maybe one of the dinosaur's relative |
Mandesz:lol see this one, na so e pain u rish? You better take it easy don't pull a vital muscle cos someone who doesn't give a shit about you. You probably "graduated" the same way that's why you are feeling for a kindred spirit. |
Nne5:Its a talking drum, you can actually communicate by beating it to the specific tone of the words you want to say without talking, by listening to the drum those present would hear you as if you were talking... well those who have learnt how to interprete it anyway. Used mostly to welcome honored guest and sing praises. |
haha SR it's too much now, who fit help Dino beg these pple o |
Jabioro:Abu should no longer be considered as prestigious |
He spoke nothing but the truth. we all know it, so no one should start digressing. The 'consortium of presidents' appointed by buhari have become more powerful that he is. He probably has no say in the way the nation is being governed. |
HottestFire:He proly doesn't have the liver, but you will agree that there must be separation of power... Right? |
I've never been a fan of saraki but he is right on this one. |
Lol Dr David o moveh haff buy market. Dino just dey implicate pple upandan. ![]() |
Realkenny:good, hope you won't change story when you are asked to testify under oath in court. In fact we want to see your own certificate? Cos we can't be so sure about any abusited certificate these days na joke o. Good morning. |
chakula:look you don't have to comment. What is Dino supposed to sue op for? Checking website? Well done jare op. You may have successfully nailed a certain dinosaur |
CellTabRepairs:Lol everybody knows he didn't meet the criteria. In court, Abu will be invited, his transcripts will be examined, SR (that is if they are answerable to a Nigerian court sef) will provide their evidence. Now my thoughts are Dino didn't just pay to file the case, he also had to pay the judge to make sure his own case is stalled. He did this just to stop the ethic committee of the Senate from probing further, not to hurt SR. Dino don buy market. But of course we want this matter to continue, we want to see Dino's certificate, whether it's true or not he failed some courses, and if he did, who cleared him?who the VC was at the time?in fact we want to see the results of the entire graduating class ? Heads must roll. ![]() |
Anybody who thinks this case is going anywhere should just find out the number of times SR has been sued. Just look at the top of the page and you will find threads on pple suing SR. You will know this is just a ploy by Dino to stop the ethic committee from investigating further as "the matter is now in court". Well this doesn't stop SR from dishing out more dirt. |
obataokenwa:so you are saying igbos gave buhari victory over GEJ?nothing we no go hear for this nairaland smh |
obataokenwa:yea yea ... It's You who forgot what it meant to defeat an incumbent in nigerian politics. #unprecedented |
IamaNigerianGuy:Thats the only con about nairaland, anybody is allowed to type any ridiculous thought that come to his/her mind. #freedomofspeechsef ![]() |
obataokenwa:lol so they betrayed GEJ and he still won by majority? Look just stop typing altogether. Tinubu is the reason your GEJ isn't in Aso rock today. Tinubu is a colossus across Africa, just go back a few weeks when he hinted he might run for presidency and see how the whole landscape shook. You need to read more about politics if you are to make meaningful contributions |
obataokenwa:erm the last time a certain IB from the ss supported by 99.9% of the se was in power, he practically left the comfort of Aso rock to sleep in hot Lagos weather while sharing dollars to our Obas.. . All because of Jagaban |
pazienza: instead of you to take the little that 'might' be offered you are looking for more that won't be given. The best bet will always be to have a new state created out of the existing five. |
bosco2017:they earned the respect of every nigerian from North to south. After the war they returned to every nook and cranny with their head held high. Many countries and peoples fought wars and learned to put the past behind them. Japan/usa(where even a nuclear bomb was used), germany/rest of the world . so stop belittling their commitment to building peace. When I began school I was proud to have igbo friends because my father told me of the ingenuity and resourcefulness of the igbo people. They were some of the most brilliant in class and never once did any speak I'll of other tribes or mention the war. Now I've lost that respect I have for you people |
In One of my previous posts some months ago, I said there was still hope for kanu, he still has the chance to re-invent himself to become a real champion of the people, not by cursing abusing the rest of us. Mandela too was an hothead before he understood the true meaning of life. But the question is will the bulk of his followers, the youth still follow him if he decides to stop the hate speeches? The present generation of youths in igbo land are a disgrace, your fathers who despite having fought a war, came out stronger, are more honorable and respectable than you, shame on you ipods |
bosco2017:the issue of senseless, unprovoked killings in the north is truly an epidemic, but you should know things are getting better there too, as they are beginning to have more educated leaders, I stayed in kano for 12 years when it was the hotbed of religious and ethnic crises. I was in kano when kruna a yoruba dominated area was razed and many of my people lost their lives. Not just igbos have been on the receiving end. If there was ever a time to secede it was 20 years ago. Now they have book harm, which doesn't target igbos, or yoruba but anybody in sight. When this Biafra thingy started, most of us weren't even opposed to anybody seeking independence, but suddenly we were drawn into the fight, by the ridiculous amount of unwarranted hate coming from igbos about the same time kanu's radio Biafra gained ground. How do you explain that. Most of us wrote post and threads to appeal to you guys to take it easy. But the prevailing voice then was how every other peoples and tribes of Nigeria hated the igbos. It's very unfortunate that, it is when things don spoil finish that the reasonable ones show up. If things are not going the way it's supposed to go it's our duty and responsibility to speak up before it's too late, flash back to the lagoon saga, many yoruba elders condemned the statement, Jagaban himself did, ambode did. But when kanu was yammering where was orji uzor kalu , where was prof soludo? , pat utomi? and the "Jews"going to court? |
bosco2017:look the authorities don't care whether you watch or not, and there are videos of him making Inciting statement, also asking for arms and ammunition. You will want to point a finger at others like "the dog and baboon saga, or the lagoon issue. Yes we ve always had people who ve let emotions get the better of them, but the hatred spewed by kanu was unprecedented. He opened the wounds of the Civil War and the result is visible not just on naira land which is now a tribal war zone. When the Oba of Lagos made his lagoon statement, even though he said he indirectly, most of us including our leaders distanced themselves from the outburst and condemned it, when kanu was on a roll, how many of you cautioned him? I saw and heard none, rather you were solidly behind him urging him on some promising to become suicide bombers if you can belive it. Chanting Biafra or death. Fast forward 1 year they are no where to be found. So oga between your people and mine we can agree say we get fight. Caused by one kanu, how we wan solve am I never sabi |
