Every bit of this, is so true. It is so unfortunate that we can't simply vote and go home without a fight. It is shameful that things have come to this, where we are so eager to waste human life. We are no longer our brothers' keepers.It hurts.

I'm an APC supporter but I cannot support them on this one. I know part of the reason they're calling for the non-involvement of the military is related to ''Ekitigate'' but total withdrawal of the army will be disastrous. Our police force is just too weak.

As much as I'd love to be optimistic that the elections will hold peacefully, I have to speak frankly about the very volatile situation in some parts of Plateau and Rivers state. As in those two states are soaked in fuel as it were and I fear the election is the spark lighter.

Lagos has also had it's share of violence. The NE is another red hot region.

I wonder the region that hasn't suffered pre-election violence already.

I don't know why our PF will be this weak but when it comes to collecting #20 naira they're very strong.

For me No MILITARY No VOTING.

PDP should @least try to be organized in their lies. I don't fancy this amateurish way they are handling these lies. It will only get messier as they keep denying.

It's almost similar to buying more than one generator in your house when your electricity demand increases

In as much as am Pro-GEJ, to be sincere am really disappointed in GEJ for nominating Obanikoro after his rigging video has gone viral. In as much as I am anti-GEJ, I think he has made a pretty smart move. It is obvious the presidency doesn't want to do any form of investigation. I mean koro said he is on assignment. Do you want him to ok an investigation on koro that may eventually point back to him The best way to brush this aside is to release the list of ministerial nominies as fast as possible to the senate for confirmation which he has done.

How I wish he was smart in doing the right things.

This Ekitigate saga will only get messier for obanikoro and co. The senate shouldn't confirm anything until he is vindicated from these allegations.

Nigeria needs to realize the level of security threat we are facing. I was watching Nigeria2015 yesterday on channelstv and you needed to see the vibrations of both politicians. It just showed to me how violent Orijins of Okrika may likely be.

Whoever thinks NE is the only very volatile region that person needs to think again.

Please house, I have a peculiar case here. I didn't receive either of the text messages or mails that were sent prior the first test. As a result, I took my mind off the NNPC recruitment process. But to my surprise (a day to d test), a friend called to inform me Dat he saw my invitation letter in one of d courier services. I went for the letter and saw my old phone number( which has been discarded) on it. I have done all I could to retrieve it but all to no avail. Was told it has been recycled. I know this may sound like stories upon stories. But I really wish to know d outcome of my test. Any advice/suggestion please? I wud appreciate greatly.

As a Honourable member of Nairaland house of parliament representing APC zones.

I've to say this decision ordinarily should be NO. As the primary functions of the NA does not include providing internal security during elections. Also recent involvements of the NA in partisan politics brings much fears to the heart of opposition parties as to how the army will conduct themselves @ each polling unit during the election.

At the same time the Police and other civil defence agencies are almost useless to the Nigerian society which leaves us with no other choice.

In light of these challenges, the assistance of the NA is required to fortify the security of the electorates. Afterall the Life of Nigerians is more important.

However, the number of military personnel deployed should be far lesser compared to other security agencies. The DHQ should be smart enough not to weaken our defence against BokoHaram.
