Truth be told, most guys who get girls pregnant and do the above are either, cowards or pigheaded!. A real man accepts his responsibility without shying away. Even if he's broke and unemployed. Cheers to all the real men out there. Except for barcanista, temitemi1, SeverusSnape and the likes.... This guys are wussies. Lmao. |

timpaker: Thanks bro. Okay, a quick guess.....who is the 'Pot' and who is the 'Kettle'? Nigeria the pot South Africa the kettle. Why? Tribalism and ethnic sentiment has been going on since the time we were amalgamated, even after then, the events of the civil war and post civil war speaks volumes about how we will murder our fellow Nigerians here in cold blood and feel good about it, only for us to cry wolf when we see them being beaten and murdered abroad!. My opinion though!. 2 Likes |

Yomieluv: a product of a failed system. A system that celebrate thieves over honest people. A system highly centred on money and the actualiZation of it at all cost to the point that human sacrifice is no longer a taboo. Such a system is the Federal Republic of Nigeria. A money centred system. |

JigsawKillah: Funny peeps
You're right Royver. Babies and pregnant women are to be respected You should tell that to other writers as well who writes in hard cover!. Royver, you sound like. Child complaining bout too much violence and gore!. Every writer has his particular way of writing and means of telling his or her own story!. I'll soon drop my stories here, and it has to do with occult practices, crime, murder, sacrifice, sex etc. If Seun or the mods feel its too intense to grace Nairaland, I'll take my stories else where. You shouldn't make your opinions a standard fact for all to accept! Bro. If you see a story you don't like because there is child abuse/violence, by all means, ignore it!. Life no be by force!!!. After all, we watch many Nollywood/Hollywood movies where much much worse is done!. 1 Like |

midolian: No mind them..Allow dem dey deceive demselves. This is because of the gargantuan failure of the GEJ led administration. GEJ messed up so bad that Nigerians are now placing to much hope in Buhari. Even I too fall under the category of people who place hope on him. Although my hope isn't that of wanting him to perform miracles. I just want him to fix this issue of power!. Haba bro. It is long overdue. A nation like Nigeria should be enjoying steady power supply, but with the mess GEJ did in that sector, I'm even starting to wonder if GMB can fix it!. |

Kachisbarbie: lols Saying ladies tag you a female hater (misogynist) is a bit overboard. Just focus on creating your threads, if we wanna see the main machos/alpa males and misogynists, we would take a bus to FAMILY-SECTION , that's where they are concentrated.
One major character they portray is, they start acting weird...like they are not the same person that accepted your proposal few days ago. I take it you don't fall under the category you just added? Lol. tosyne2much: Sister Kachisbarbie, I just hope am safe sha Tosyne why fear dey catch you na? Shey you forget say I get your back for Nairaland? Lol. |

LarrySun: It's such a pity. Read these:
Verb 1. reread - read anew; read again; "He re-read her letters to him" ↔ read - interpret something that is written or printed; "read the advertisement"; "Have you read Salman Rushdie?"
Source:
www.thefreedictionary.com/reread
Question: Which is correct? 'reread' or 're-read'?
Answer [by Robert Charles Lee]: Either is fine. Reread (solid) and re-read (hyphenated) are used in equal measure in all sorts of writing. Once you use one version, stick to it throughout the copy.
Source: www.quora.com/Which-is-correct-reread-or-re-read
Besides, IDFWU, if you aim to correct someone else's English expression, at least write in correct grammar yourself. There is a difference between Its and It's. Perhaps, that dictionary that has been confusing you can still rescue you from your ignorance. Awesome. Nicely put bro!. Besides, who cares if its reread or re-read, as long as the message is understood, then its fine with me. After all, we are not writing WAEC here are we . IDFWU: Easy man don't talk crap @ me. Its "reread" with no hyphen. Visit ya dictionary, difficult people everywhere...SMH next thing u be like re-cap, re-post over recap, repost. It may look wrong without the hypen but that's the right way don't spice it up, its no dish!. The problem with these kind of people is that they too much believe they know everything!. |

Kachisbarbie: This topic alongside some memes has been trending on my bbm/whatsapp. It's fast becoming a trite cliche, people tag changing of display pictures with immaturity. It's common here on NL too.
Isn't one's display picture supposed to be his/her personal business or a means of self-expression/admiration?
What's your say? Whatever anyone decides to do or not do with their display picture is entirely their business and nobody's!. For me, my display picture usually arouse religious connotations and I really love it that it gives this religious narrow minded individuals sleepless nights. Imagine you seeing the picture below as one of your contacts dp, I wonder what you'll say or think!.

SirChelseaAmb: 7. Nigeria Produced the First-ever female OPEC President Nigeria's first female petroleum minister, Diezani Alison-Madueke, made history when she was elected to serve as the first female president of the 12-member Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) in 2014. Unfortunately, she (and consequently, Nigeria) will likely lose this position on May 20 when the present cabinet will be dissolved and she's not likely to be recalled by the incoming Muhammadu Buhari administration.
