No human being should be treated the way the Nigerian man was tortured, irrespective of what he has done.... Those that support this barbaric act should bow their heads in shame.... However, retaliating like some people suggested isn't right either. The Indians in Nigeria weren't the ones in the video where the man was being tortured. If we go ahead, attacking Indians in our midst, we just as barbaric as the people in this video and it won't even put an end to it..... @ fellow Nigerians, anywhere we find ourselves overseas, we should always respect our host and abide by their laws... If we can't we should come back home. Foreigners are soft targets anywhere, breaking the law further makes it worse.... @ fellow Nigerians, Abroad is not always the solution. India is a third world country, so don't expect exceptional human rights there. The level of poverty and ignorance there is just as rife as the ones you find in Africa. Do your research b4 you travel.. Don't travel anywhere because your mates did. Ambition is good but it should be matched with contentment. @ Our Nigerian brothers/sisters saying 'yes sir' to anything pale, stop it.... It's inferiority complex to the core.... Respect people based on the values they add to your life and not because they are pale... Same inferiority complex that is making some of our youths bleach their skins.. Spits....ewww.. @ Tribal warriors, those that attacked that man saw a black man, not a Yoruba, Hausa or Igbo... If we hate ourselves so much, we should kuku divide this country. If you think the death of an Igbo man is justifiable, then why are you still sharing nationality with them? Don't be a coward, do the honourable thing and break the country... idi.ots!!!!
May you remain BLESSED!!! |
Afam4eva: I'm boiling as i'm watching this video. It the responsibility of the Nigerian government to take an expedient action to curtail this idiocy. These Indains are in this country fleecing our economy and maintaining a high social status and over there in India they treat our people worse than dirt. Something has to be done. We can't remain the laughing stock of the world. people think they can just disrespect Nigerian the way they like and get away with it. No human being should be humiliated the way the guy was humiliated. Even if he stole something, that's not enough to subject him to such treatment.Bros, maybe when we start attacking and mudering the useless Indian thieves at grandsquare, Dana air and all those Indian organisations in Nigeria, then our Govt will react appropriately. Meanwhyl, do we think running away from our country will fix it? it is the most cowardly way to solve personal problems. We need ALL Nigerians to come back home and FORCE the development of our nation! ENOUGH of this Xenophobic insults |

platinumricky: The XC90 doesn't have a 'V6' option. It has two 'straight-5' engine options (one is a petrol while d other is a diesel). Two petrol 'straight-sixes' are offered and a yamaha built V8 , bringing the total number of engines offered for the XC90 to 5. A V6 has two banks of 3 cylinders on either side while 'a straight' or 'inline 6' has its cylinders arranged longitudinally...straight sixes are smoother than V6s in operation. V6s are compact in dimension and can be 'squeezed' into small engine compartments. A V8 has 2 banks of 4cyls on either side, a V12 has two banks of 6cyls on either side. These are just the basics..I have been schooled today... Thanks man! |
Haba now!! Isn't this refurbished news? Some of us don't have amnesia oooo!!! This news was first told in April... ![]() I'm beginning to Think Nairaland has run out of news sources and needs to keep traffic on... ![]() http://elombah.com/index.php/reports/15511-president-jonathan-commissions-wempco-steel-mills-ibafon-ogun-state |
dBard: I disagree wit u sir.I understand you very well, but you missed where i said the vehicle can still access oxygen from underneath it. if the fire is from a fuel line, you will lose precious seconds by trying to pull over and 'wait' for the smoke to smolder down in which case it might not. Car fires are quite different from room fires, because the vehicle is already in an open condition... |
While its easy for many to jump and castigate Islam because some pigs hide behind the religion to perpetrate sickening crimes, I want to say IN MY OPINION that the issue has never been religion but PSYCHOPATHS who find loopholes in religion to murder, rape and loot. Or will anyone tell me that these same people who take hard drugs to deaden their consciences and sleep with prostitutes before their so called operations, do so in line with the proper teachings of their religion when these same acts run contrary to ANY religion? Osama's den was filled with porn, surely, I'm sure Islam does not promote pornography just like Christianity. I am a Christian and I have interacted with and have many Muslim friends and I am 100% Igbo but we must learn that the problem is NOT religion or tribe but the mentally challenged psychopaths who have skills in brainwashing other gullible folks to following their path and then they hide behid the cloak of religion to murder. We must stand up against these pigs regardless of their tribe or religion and fight them! The civillian JTF has given us a solid example, we should stop being internet warriors and start fighting these pigs.... Let us say NO to Terrorism and Terrorist pigs |

Babzilla: YOU CAN ABUSE HIM ALL YOU WANT BUT I BELIEVE I SPEAK FOR A SENSIBLE MAJORITY WHEN I SAYYou talk of logic when you cannot reason just like YOUR majority of your Nairalanders, quick to condemn, SLOW to analyze and reason or even read. Please READ about the plane model and then come back to re-believe any crap you want to, stop watching only AFRICAN MAGIC MOVIES |
Princek12: It is possible that the poster is not apt at explaining very well the circumstances surrounding the incident. This does not mean, however, that the engine did not fail mid air. Let's wait for Dana Air to either confirm or deny the incident. In the meantime, leave your challenges to aviation experts. If it is an aircraft with WING MOUNTED ENGINES, yes you can see them but in the case of the MD83, the engines are almost at the tail, SURELY you CANNOT see even any part of the engine. I have flown the same type of aircraft as well as similar design makes (REAR ENGINED PLANES) and trust me, you cannot see the engines until u disembark. your seating position doesn't matter see pictures I attached in my second post |
