annoymous: I'm a 25 yr old medical doctor who recently concluded the compulsory one year NYSC. I am not particularly happy with medicine and I think I only became a doctor due to family/environmental pressure. I have a fairly nicely paying job so it ain't about the pay. From me, I'd say, go for your MPH, and you can leave core hospital work to pure public health work, with either NACA, FHI, Or any NGO dealing with public health (AIDS, TB, Malaria etc). That's what I did Trust me, it will be faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrr better than starting afresh. DON'T LOSE HOPE LAD!!!! |
This report is FALSE!!!! Benue REMAINS number one on the list. Infact the figures in Benue are still rising. |
One Phrase: ILLEGAL MODIFICATION.... The before and after pics show the building must have had the pent house illegally constructed. |

It's all good! I mean, it's not by force that Obama must like us or visit us, the same way we mustn't like the US. We should open our doors WIDE enough for Russia and China as a defiant way of telling the US, "You don't care about us, we don't care about you". The Russians and Chinese might not be better but they sure give the Americans some palpitations ![]() |
Nna bros! I am immediately sending five 40ft containers with tissue paper straight to Venezuela! There is money to be made biko!!!! ![]() |
Who is this Corporal Giwa Mohammed? He seems mentally unfit to be in the police force and should be fired sharply! Assaulting two people within the same vicinity? Haba!!! |
Na laptop MEND dey bark.... Complete fools wey just dey haphazardly confused! 1st they claimed to have killed the 12 policemen in Bayelsa but events have proven them as stupid opportunists seeking relevance or as a fake one-man laptop crew seeking to make MEND look fearful. Why did they wait all this while to attack mosques and kill Imams? Hopeless cows without brains. |
Yes, I go home to LASH my wifey ![]() Its what my doctor ordered ![]() |
Well, its what we call A KELOID SCAR. This is as a result of the trauma of the tattoo needle on her arm and from the looks of it, she is predisposed to keloids. Its unfortunate she cannot do anything to ameliorate the situation as further surgical intervention will lead to bigger unsightly scars. |
At Night in Abuja, they go to hidden corners to set up roadblocks. The Rubbish Tinted order is just a new means of fattening their pockets and does not add any security value. In 2010, I had to carry plain clothed policemen in my dad's vehicle once on a search when i had my car stolen from church, and it was NOT TINTED, yet these men were fully armed and this was on a Sunday afternoon. We got to a checkpoint far away from their zone and we were simply waved past! Note that they DIDN'T recognize any of the policemen o! And we had 4 AK-47 rifles in the car. We could as well have been armed robbers on a mission! How many of the suicide bombers from the haramites operated with tinted vehicles? Even Kidnappers don't give a damn! The tinted order is an excuse to start harassing innocent Nigerians and make cool cash |
Channels TV again?? Hope they didn't ask her about the website of the Nkwobi and Peppersoup Union ![]() |

This is the reason Many Nigerians will keep dying of high blood pressure. A man comes on air and makes a complete bufoonery of himself and we make a complete joke out of it and its biting some people Heck, we can't even laugh away our sorrows since we can't fight 'THOSE AT THE TOP' and not get some heeediot sermonizing and posturing ? GO TO HELL!!! WE HAVE A RIGHT TO LAUGH! IT WILL NOT STOP THE CORRUPTION BUT WILL SURELY MAKE US FEEL PSYCHOLOGICALLY BETTEROP, please, try getting a serious sense of humour |
People like to attribute EVERY road traffic accident to bad roads. Let me inform you, 80% of the roads in Abuja are VERY GOOD! The major problem people are keen to ignore is the attitude of drivers! You see people trying to drive like F1 drivers all because of the good roads. Even on the inter-state highways, you see all sorts of driving habits that make you cringe. Close shaves by drivers who barely survive stupid manoeuvrings! Then you see a road riddled with potholes and drivers still maintaining a deadly speed of 120km/hr all because they want to beat time or because they feel they know the road. What do we see? Unnecessary road crashes and unnecessary loss of lives. I bet this truck driver knew his brakes weren't sharp and ignored it because he was plainly ignorant (which is a key issue with many if not most truck drivers) or just greedy and didn't want to spend money repairing the brake system cos of the returns he had to make. The Govt of Nigeria has failed in instituting a proper road safety policy which addresses the key issue of articulated vehicles and their road worthiness. All sorts of metals with wheels are allowed to roam our roads and streets in the name of trucks and trailers, ending up as tragedies waiting patiently to happen |
lets consider this: the car has a central lock system but one door (usually the rear door) doesn't lock with the rest and the owner doesn't take note and the car has been parked for long. then to add to it, someone had accidentally triggered the child lock on the same side. now these two kids casually try to open all doors while playing or one of them walks to the door and draws the handle and it opens and he calls his mate and they both enter. now the door shuts close and then they try to open it after a while and the child lock is activated and the handle refuses to work. add to the fact that harmattan dust had covered the car so, it would be difficult to look inside it casually. not that anyone thinks they are inside. and they die from suffocation. its very possible and it is a freak accident OR MAYBE SOMEONE KILLED THEM AND DUMPED THEM THERE TOO RIP KIDS |
it was such and horrible experience when i found out that my call up letter has fel off 4rm my other documents on my way home 15mins afta i left the office where i collectd it ![]() Bros this is EXACTLY the reason your call up letter fell off!!! Your Gbagaun KILLED it!!! ![]() |
Answers: 1. Everybody would have known he was in town because I am almost dead certain he rode into town with an escort and sirens blaring. 2. By virtue of his status as a Police commissioner automatically makes him a politician. He prolly was also into village politics as well. A lot of folks would want him dead. 3. In Nigeria, you can buy an AK-47 from the streets for as little as 50 - 100 thousand Naira. 4. He was prolly being followed and monitored. A reflection of poor training. Nigerias answer to insecurity is brute force in numbers which really isn't all that wise. If he had an unmarked vehicle in his convoy that was trailing him, they would have spotted those guys faster. Every time I see a convoy go past me, I laugh because it's so easy to attack them and get the upper hand especially with those AK 47s which are not very effective in close quarter combat. If his orderly had a pistol, he would have been able to manuever inside that vehicle and return fire easier than he would with a big rifle inside that confined space. 5. Everybody in his community would know where he lives. That's a no brainier. In summary, the Nigerian Police needs to be retrained. Those AK-47s should only be carried by a special unit (e.g our SWAT unit). Inside a car, an AK-47 is not easy to manuever. A pistol in the hands of a well trained officer is deadlier than an AK47 in the hands of a thug. Moving in a convoy with flashing lights dosent necessarily mean that ou are safe. A special team of officers in an unmarked vehicle following a distance behind would be more effective as they would spot a trailing vehicle faster and move to intercept. Our entire security structure needs to be revisited. It rather sad. He was killed in front of his gate. He had a unit of heavily armed officers inside his house who didn't respond, despite hearing what I am sure would have sporadic gun shots just outside the gate. By the time they responded, the assailants had enough time to kill the commissioner, shoot up his orderly, ransack the vehicle and take the orderlies weapon and then get into their vehicle and drive away. That shows gross incompetence. It's a sad case, but I am not surprised. I have always said that a well coordinated unit of armed robbers would be able to enter the central bank and get away easily. This is indeed a sad sad case. We really are at the mercies of men of the underworld in this nation.
Well said but there is a problem.... He wasn't in his convoy when he was shot. He was riding in his personal car but with his Police driver and orderly who went out with him. The convoy were already at his house as he had arrived hours earlier. Now the issue is that he had a visitor (a Barrister) and the question is WHY DID HE HAVE TO ESCORT THE BARRISTER HOME? He could have sent his driver to drop off the visitor as he did not have any reason to follow the visitor out. The only explanation could be that the visitor coaxed him into following him so as to lure him away from his security details knowing the man would not want to draw too much attention at that time of the night. Unfortunately, someone gave away his location and was ready for him as he approached his house. |
For me, this is good news! Now that She(cow)kau has reiterated that he is not declaring a ceasefire, GEJ should unleash the full arsenal of the NigArmy on the bastards parading as terrorists. I'd personally like to see this bastard she(cow)kau skinned alive while crying like a pus.s.y ![]() |
Jesuspikin87: You noticed a bus trailing ur car and what u cud do was drive into ur own street. How did you get to learn how to type? Was it the commissioner driving or his driver? who do you think told the story? It was his driver! The driver could be blamed for being slow but the time between noticing the bus trailing them and the attack was too short. You should learn to question objectively and not like a motor-park tout. |
LeJeun3: So sad! May the family be consoled. It wasn't his convoy, it was his personal car. He left his retinue of guards and went with his orderly and driver. They were double crossed very close to his house. Means somebody gave away some info about his movements. Such a shocking death from a fine man, very nice and peaceful... Lost a nice inlaw today... RIP SIR |
