that there was no urine in her bladder at 3am suggests pistorious' story was correct that she was in the bathroom. humans would normally have urine in their bladder at 3am - the only puzzle is if he pulled the trigger intentionally or accidentally....Two things; 1. Either there was a burglar truly, and she ran to the bathroom and abandoned her dear physically challenged boyfriend to his fate meaning she was selfish and wicked or planned the whole thing to eliminate him (i doubt this but in nollywood it happens) or... 2. He is lying! He shot her the first time and he missed and she ran to take refuge and he decided to shoot her through the door to pull through his ready made story. |
freecocoa: Wait o, he has no legs does that mean his girlfriend was safe if it was really a case of burglary that would make him forget they were two in the house? He must really be a selfish person and the gun would be in the bedroom joor let's be real.God bless your brain cells... ![]() |
Afam4eva: You must have watched the whole scene play out. Do you mind sharing with us the video footage you took?Erm, Afam, many of us here are not dumb, we read, write and watch CSI at least! Now if he woke up and claims he felt there was a burglar, the first thing would be to 'secure' his Girlfriend's safety by knowing where she is and ensuring shes in a safe place. Now he says its one rush of terror, how come he had the TIME AND FRAME OF MIND (despite the terror) to wear his prosthetic legs? that would have given the so-called burglar enough time to run or attack or both. Like Gill Grisom in CSI would say, FORENSICS NEVER LIE... So Unless you too were there to see the burglar or unless you were the burglar... ![]() |
DeCleff: For the first time in Elelenwo community, we are enjoying almost 24 hours power supply for the past 3 days now, after suffering for over 12 years of very poor power supply.BROS!!! tsmith: Severe headache is a major sign of PE, you can read up on the signs. A friend had same issue after child birth and nearly died, she complained of a banging headache and went into a deep sleep with loud snores which her hubby thought was unusual especially as she couldn't be roused, however the silly midwives thought it was due to the childbirth trauma she just went through. Long and short, she was taking to the emergency surgery to drain the blood from her brain.Chest Pain NOT Headache is a major sign of PE. However, the person will feel light headed and may even faint. The headache might occur if there is severe vasodilatation of the vessels in the brain especially if the PE is not very dramatic meaning that the person has time to 'feel' there is a problem. Otherwise, it's sudden shortage of breath, collapse and instant death in many cases |
Havilah93: ...what baffles me is how Mali still manages to be ahead of us in 25thI've stopped looking at FIFA rankings sinceeeeee!!! they don't portray the true picture of World football in anyway |
I'm happy he realised that his physical presence is like badluck... Cast your mind back to October 2009 when he represented Yar'adua at the Nigeria 2009 U-17 world cup final where we were to play Switzerland. A team we should have beaten, his presence gave us badluck and we lost. ABEG, HE SHOULD WATCH IT ON TV.... Or Skype... (Just a silly thot ) |
This VERY OLD Pic is what is making front page ? Kai!!!! Nairaland these days ehn ?? #SPEECHLESS ![]() |
My own 50 things to do on vals day; 1. RUN 2. RUN 3. RUN 4. RUN . . . . . 50.RUN ![]() |
The irony is that this team could go on to eventually win the trophy funny enough... |
This reminds me of a certain Bartholomew Ogbechie who attended Federal Government College Okigwe, graduated in 1995, with honours as the College's sports Captain/Prefect and a notoriety for being a no nonsense prefect... This same individual MIRACULOUSLY became 18yrS in 2002 and was called up to represent Nigeria at the Japan/Korea World cup. Many FGC Okigwe Alumni who were there between the period of 1990 (at least) to 1995, and I mean all classes will testify to this fact. By 2002 granted that he graduated from FGC Okigwe at 16yrs at least, he would have to be 23yrs at the time! He wasnt too old to represent Nigeria but the ridiculousness of reducing his age when he risked getting exposed was just amazing! Age cheats are real! And Africa has not been fair to itself |
Na wah oooo!!! Bros wey take these pics, u sure say you no be Russian spy ![]() |
redcliff: NA wa . death just smells everywhere in this countryIdiot! Did you even read the story long enough to assume it WASN'T Nigeria that this happened Some people actually come here to display their stupidity sha |
Its only in Nigeria that Going back to relieve history becomes a tribal topic or an issue that raises unnecessary dust! I've just finished watching two back to back documentaries on National Geographic Channel about the 2nd world war and I said to myself, I've seen loads of this already! from the pearl habour to how American Soldiers were tortured and killed by the Japs. It doesnt stir up any diplomatic controversy or unnecessary war of words. It just serves to remind the world what happened was real and why it should NOT happen EVER again. In Nigeria, a man decides to Publish his own version, seen through his OWN PERSPECTIVE and HIS OWN PERSONAL EXPERIENCES and the whole nation descends on him as if what happened was a Nollywood movie. This is the real reason Nigeria WILL NOT develop. we NEVER learn lessons from any past experiences. Forget about what Awo did or did not do. The issue is People were massacred, killed and when they decided to secede, they were invaded and beaten to submission after 30 long months. What we should ask our elders is WHAT TRIGGERED THIS? WHY DID THEY LET THIS HAPPEN? Everyone has a blame to share in this whole fiasco! What even annoys me more is that some tribal illiterates use Nairaland as a platform to spread their ignorance and stupidity rather than learning to discuss and argue rationally and learn mutual maturity and respect. Nigeria doesn't need such retards, not now, not EVER. We need sane and rational people who can argue without cursing the other tribe and making insane assertions. Nigeria needs us to be sane for once! |
Laalamed: in developed countries there are schools and college that offer courses in alternative medicine.they have the title ND in front of their names. ND..... Native Doctor for short ![]() |
![]() WTF ?? Like seriously, someone 'AWARDED' that company a road contract? And they expect that road to last up to 1 month ? like TF ? ![]() |
I saw the Barricades last sunday on my way to the airport and the logical conclusion that came to mind was DEBT... Its likely the FG is owing them for the construction of the road and they have decided to transfer the inconvenience to the public in order to force the FG or whoever is paying to speed up payment, else there is no need to block the road, a road which has already been marked with road markings and signs in those portions blocked. The drainage points are all covered too! Let JB tell the world what the real issue is and stop causing untold hardship already! I'm happy mobs removed some of the barricades, cos it speaks volumes of how much Nigerians can react if pushed to the walls too much |
PLEASE SOMEONE SHOULD PLEASE ASSASINATE THIS BASTARD AND HIS FAMILY.... I will PAY ANY AMOUNT TO ANYONE WHO DOES SO! It's time to start erasing fellows like these off our planet |
The reason the force of the explosion was felt as far as Festac is simple... water transmits vibrations far more than solid land, because the molecules are loosely held and Lagos is practically floating on water. This is the reason why underwater earthquakes are more deadly than earthquakes on land. That energy equivalent of the explosion was the equivalent of a mini-atomic bomb as per the force of the explosion |
The idea of developing rapid transit in Lagos dates from the 1980s with the Lagos Metroline network conceived by the Alhaji Lateef Jakande during the Nigerian Second Republic.[4] The initial Metroline project was scrapped in 1985 by Muhammadu Buhari at a loss of over $78 million to the Lagos tax payersAnd someone says he should be president He should have been beheaded a looooooong time ago!! Babangida was too kind to him ![]() |
The highest STUPIDITY of the highest order! With all the ladies strewing everywhere, and some even wishing for him to just smile at them, he decided to take his own life for a bi.tch!!! He's just stu.pid!!!! Its annoying now... |
If her PCV kept going down, it's likely she was suffering one of many blood disorders- Pernicous Anaemia, Bone Marrow dysplasia or even Leukemia. If she was not refered to a consultant hematologist on time to properly diagnose her condition then the doctors would have erred. In all, shes gone, and may she rest in peace |
i stand corrected tho.I beg to disagree... it follows the law of physics, when a gas heats up, it expands. now if there is over-inflation of the tire, the tire on constant motion will heat up due to friction. then add the variable of a hot road surface and you could increase the temp of the tire even further. Now if this tire has been overinflated, the expanded gas has no where to accommodate the expansion, and what you will get is an explosion. A tire blow out from over-inflation is dangerous cos of the force of the explosion can trigger a chain of irreversible events which could even tip the car over depending on its centre of gravity. Under-inflating a tire has a different consequence. the friction also heats up the tire, but due to the under-inflation, the surface area of the tire in contact with the ground is more and the result is more wear and tear. now if there is a weak spot on/in the tire, the hot expanded gas (air in this case) will exploit it and the result will be a blow out too. this is less dramatic than an over-inflated blow-out but loss of control can still occur and if it is at high speeds, it will occur. so, the key is CORRECT TIRE INFLATION |
Nice one bro! You just gave me sweet memories of my first car, a 505 i inherited from my Dad as a student in 2006. Used it in Aba and it was soooooo neat and prestigious, even the traders would stop to ask about the car. Unfortunately, when i bought a new car and handed it to my uncle to manage, he ruined the ride... I havent gotten over that yet. Also, the trip was just a reminder of the last time i drove by road to Enugu... sweetness personified! the Road is fantastic... the main thbing i realise is that most car accidnets i came across were on smooth parts of the roads. Over-speeding and poor tire mgt were to blame in these incidences Then on a lighter note, is that an engine block or a sand block in your first pic?? ![]() I've actually never seen a 505 v6 till you showed these pics. Impressive I must say In all, Thank God for journey mercies and thanks for these pics. |
“The train will depart Lagos by 9am and will stop at major stations such as Abeokuta,Ibadan, Osogbo, Ilorin, Minna and Kaduna before it finally arrives its Kano terminal destination on Saturday morning Is this a 1940 steam engine train or what Anyone who celebrates this mediocrity needs a psychiatric evaluation! in an era where trains cut the time of road travel by 50%, Our Nigerian trains are doubling the transit time.... HELL NO!!!!! ![]() |
Managing Director, Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) Mr. Seyi Sijuwade revealed at the weekend that the agreement the Federal Government signed with General Electric should come into force in 2013.IF YOU BELIEVE THIS, YOU CAN BELIEVE ANYTHING!!!! ![]() |
myike2: This story is not true. Just a jack-ass trying to make front page who succeeded. I said so for the following reasons:Sorry to disappoint you but that useless directive ended with Batch A as many Batch B corpers were posted to my office... so it doesn't count |
coogar: the soldiers took off their uniform, wore mufti and robbed the corp members......look no further than the soldiers guarding the camps! i don't think any armed robber would wish death upon himself to go into a camp manned by trigger-happy soldiers!GBAAAAAMMMMM!!!! |
Its obvious most of the people commenting on Nairaland are SEVERELY DYSLEXIC... a well detailed report was give and all they can write is the shyte that enters their head from hoarding it... sad... That said, the FA did well, and CFC also did well... Clattenburg can now move on with his life unlike Terry... This will make all who are concerned 9players and refs) more conscious about what they say or do on/off the pitch |
