PoliticsRe: Encounter With Herdsmen In Delta by Josh316(m): 7:11pm On Aug 07, 2013
When people doubt the ability of Fulani's to operate AK-47 machine guns, I laugh at their forgiveable ignorance. What is difficult about operating an AK-47 that was made easy to use by the Russians? Furthermore, who says these Fulani are actually not even the migrant group from Sudan who are part of the supporter of APC milita renown for their brutality and lack of respect for human lives? These guys could easily migrate with their kit and kin in the guise of cattle rearing and invade our country!

I watched on Channels TV an interview granted by a young retired Colonel on Morning Rise who by the way is Hausa who pointed out that these so-called Fulani robbers could actually be supporter of APC militia! He had noted that during the era of Abacha, there was a similar case of "FULANI" cattle rearers who would rob and murder on a daily basis in the North-Eastern axis of the country until they were flushed out by the Army.

These guys are no ordinary cattle rearers, but certainly migrant militants from Chad, Sudan and Niger Republic.

It's time the Government tackles this issue with IRON FISTS and stop sweeping it under the carpet unless they are ready to deal with what I predict would be "SPONTANEOUS GENOCIDE AGAINST THE FULANI STOCK"

Obviously, you ARE a KID, or you actually do have a very poor grasp of English. I DO NOT sympathize with you but with your parents who wasted both their sperm and ovum as well as your teachers who slaved to teach some sense into your potato skull without success! Go figure how to reason LIKE a SCHOOLED human being and then come back and read my comment properly... Or you can apply for a BRAIN TRANSPLANT... It might help

Trust me, it will paradoxically increase now. Nigerian drivers seem to have a poor safety attitude and we shall soon hear of accidents due to overspeeding on the roads. Our problem is simply bad driving attitudes

So the people didn't know when they elected terrorists to lead them abi? I saw this coming as soon as the Brotherhood were elected. Many political analysts were skeptical of the motives of the Brotherhood in the era of a Post-Mubarak Egypt and they have been justified.

On a lighter note, the Egyptian Army get too much ballz oooo!!! grin No dulling grin

PoliticsRe: 11 Burnt Alive In Lagos-Ibadan Road Accident. by Josh316(m): 11:39am On Jul 01, 2013
CrazyMan: I read somewhere that a budget was made to expand that road to a 10 lane express way...It would be great if the government can actualize this goal so the tankers and trailers can have a lane reserved for them and refrain from colliding with commuter buses, and it would go a long way in ensuring that the lives of law abiding citizens are protected from any reoccurrence in the future.

RIP to the dead.
It's not a fuel tanker accident man! The report says the propeller of the bus hit its own fuel tank and it went up in flames. Doesn't stop the Govt from expanding the road but get the fact straight

RIP to the late folks
PoliticsRe: NUPENG Issues Three-day Warning Strike Notice by Josh316(m): 10:17am On Jul 01, 2013
Trust the Petrol stations to act before the strike even takes place. Queues have 'suddenly' surfaced in Abuja. These NUPENGites are terrorists and should be taken out by JTF! How can any idiot declare strike simply because they know they can cause chaos and suffering? Isn't that another form of terrorismhuh

Poundy Brains like them! If the roads are bad, they should use trains! Afterall, their tankers don't go faster than our so-called trains. but disturbing our peace in order to cause chaos is simply evil angry

That car is probably in Kano or Jos now and is being wiped clean for re-sale as we speak. The car will make its way back to one Abuja stand as a second hand.

Sorry bro, but if you didn't install a tracker or you didn't have a find my ipad app on your ipad to help you with tracking either items, then its going to be VERY DIFFICULT.

However, still try to have SOME faith in our NPF. They might work miracles you know.

I don't drive gently at night in Abuja. Car Snatchers dey everywhere

Sorry brother. I know what you are going through now
Car TalkRe: Train And Truck Collide In Lagos by Josh316(m): 7:58pm On Jun 22, 2013
cold: Are you serious? You're going to put the blame on the train? You think a train's brakes are ABS designed? Lmao! A train's brakes are air filled & do not stop on impact but requires a certain distance to come to a complete halt. This is because of the speed, length & weight of the train

A moving train contains energy, known as kinetic energy, which needs to be removed from the train in order to cause it to stop.  The simplest way of doing this is to convert the energy into heat.  The conversion is usually done by applying a contact material to the rotating wheels or to discs attached to the axles.  The material creates friction and converts the kinetic energy into heat.  The wheels slow down and eventually the train stops.  The material used for braking is normally in the form of a block or pad.The vast majority of the world's trains are equipped with braking systems which use compressed air as the force to push blocks on to wheels or pads on to discs.  These systems are known as "air brakes" or "pneumatic brakes".  The compressed air is transmitted along the train through a "brake pipe".  Changing the level of air pressure in the pipe causes a change in the state of the brake on each vehicle.  It can apply the brake, release it or hold it "on" after a partial application.
Bros... Don't waste your time, many people won't understand the 'technical' physics stuff you just moved here grin

It would be easier for them to blame GEJ or FASHOLA for this cheesy
Nairaland GeneralRe: When Was The Last Time You Bought A Generator? by Josh316(m): 9:18am On Jun 11, 2013
Okija juju: Lol.

Funny enuff when the company came to do a load assessment on my house, they suggested a 27 - 33kva gen.. Nna men! I shout na. So I settled for the 20 kva.. The motivation to buy the Generator was longevity. Now I know that over the next 4 - 6 years, I no go get any major headache with generator. Simply service it every 5000 hours and you will be fine. You fit run her for 48hours non stop and your mind no go cut say e go spoil from over working..

The only downside to big generators na the price of Diesel..

But thank God for Asari refineries Nig limited.. grin
Bros, do you know what you are saying? Service ever 5000 hours ke? That gen will NOT last 1000hrs b4 it shuts down assuming its a computerised gen. Service is advised at least every 250-350 hours. With moderate use, 5000 hours is equivalent to 3years of use.
