All these things you listed here , is it based on a survey , poll ,study , research or based on your opinions and conclusions ...
This is a public platform , when you want to push a point be as apt as possible ...tell us with numbers how many porn addicts you interviewed, and how many of them were depressed , lonely ...bla bla
Cos going by the numbers of streams porn hub is having alone , then your opinion would mean a large chunk of world population is depressed , unsocial .....
what I'm saying is this a lot of people engage in porn and they have a happy marriage , some married couples even view it together , they achieve success , their finances are intact , their productivity is at its peak ..and their joy flows like river Nile ...
Make your point if you think porn is bad , don't bring some nursery points to derail your argument ...before you come and tell me I need help ...cross examine yourself ..we all need help ?!!
Thank you jare. All these spirikoko people self.

If you’re a young Nigerian and want to secure a future for yourself and unborn kids please do everything possible to japa from that cesspit. The past, present and future leadership of Nigeria have no interest of the masses at heart and this will never change unless there’s a bloody revolution.

At least a good number of people on this thread have broken it down easily for anyone sane to comprehend just in case you want to jump on the "Hushpuppi was loud" train.

You can't be quiet. You can never be. Money will push you. You will unknowingly have friends that will advertise you. The case of Efe Martic (Hushpuppi called him Neighbour), Woodberry. It is lowkey reported that Woodberry had more funds than Hush.

Money dey push o

But in the end, our leaders have our balls in their hands and no, we are still cowards to look in that direction.

See. If you make money as a Nigerian after hustling all your life, it is still not enough to save your family after you are gone. The system in Nigeria is ready to 'rubbish' your sweat even if it is legit.

Wonder why the Politicians and the Wealthy people with big businesses continously push for more money even when it seems like they have enough? They know how it works in this part of the world.

The whites can comfortably donate a huge part of their life savings to Charity because of their country's standard of living, at least they don't live like savages like we do here. The ones who end up wayward probably got lost in Gambling, Drugs.

Until we stand up against our real oppressors, we will continue to deserve what we get. Nigeria is modern day's ANIMAL FARM and it is so obvious. Hustle non stop with little to show for.

Peace, someday.
Forgive me my child if I ever fail you, but till then.
I will never fail my children by birthing them into this mistake of a country. I'll rather die childless

Won't happen but las las hush done chop money, flex life, lived lavish, flown choppers, flown private, had the most exotic cars, mingled with celebs obtained connections, became a known international brand.

No jail can take that away from him, if he comes out of prison he will be better than most poor Nigerians because he has a platform, he has connections, he has experience, he is known and so on. He won't be starting from square 1

He can write a bestseller book, be a TV host, sing music people will buy, sell his story to American media companies, work for security organisations abroad etc

Most Nigerians live in houses worst than American prisons me typing this have not seen electricity in 42 hours straight, I paid aboki 50 bucks to charge my phone, American prisons have 24/7 electricity, gym, free TV, free laundry services, free phone calls and free food that is why black Americans even the celebs see jail as an achievement as street cred status bringer

how many haven't been to jail? you tell me as we speak many US celebs are in jail including Steven Spielberg's daughter, R Kelly, Da baby etc
Even Robert Downey Jr, Lil Kim, tommy Lee, Mark Wahlberg have all been to U.S prison
Their prison is not like our own many come out of jail looking better than they did before they went in.

Those quoting me will chose 10 - 15 years in American prison and a lifetime of living lavish for themselves and their family without thinking twice over being a poor Nigerian from birth to death.

Ask yourself what odds hushpuppi had of being as rich as he was without doing what he did? We all know majority of Nigerians will be born into poverty and will die in poverty but we all want to delude ourselves by thinking "I will be the one to make it" niggger that's what the other 100,000,000 dead Nigerians before you thought, you think every poor Nigerian chose to be poor? or they don't know your God or another one is "if he didn't do crime he would be enjoying by now!" Nigguh enjoying what exactly

Simple question please how many Nigerian lawyers do you know richer than or even half as rich as Hushpuppi? Even the celebs how many of them where as rich as hush? Only the very top 1%

Another quick question? Ask them how many years and how much suffering, and how much connections etc it took them to get that degree and then that position and if the pay for those without connection is adequate, do the same for every other profession except clergy and politicians

And decide for yourself what chance the vast majority of Nigerians have of becoming millionaires or even hundred thousandnaires ?

I'm not encouraging crime please don't do crime but let us be realistic in our thoughts and speech
,

I thought if you go to school you must be rich until I was in a slum and a woman told me she did her youth service in taraba, I was surprised I was like wtf excuse me, she said yes she served in.... She didn't know I was thinking shocked thinking to myself "how did you go to school for 17+ years only to end up in this slum in this poverty" I assumed everyone in slums where uneducated never do wells, miscreants etc.

Imagine if she, like most young girls were compelled to sleep with lecturers for grades, or sorted to pass and all that thinking riches were ahead of them upon graduation only to end up in a slum without husband and children hey this isn't fiction this lady was quarrelling with another non educated woman the other day I recorded what the women were using to insult her. Her lack of husband and children she kept saying she sacrificed all that for school and her future but you decide if this is a future worth losing sleep for, worth losing meaningful relationships for

Dbanj is a clown. First, you sue the girl for 100Million naira to silence her now 1 billion to make her cower in fear.

The most important thing for any sane celebrity right now would be to clear his name and get a public apology but he keeps increasing the money knowing fully well the girl can't pay just to intimidate her.

The way Dapo is going about this issue, he is exposing himself that he is really scared.

I don't believe the girl will win except she has strong evidence but I believe she is telling the truth.

Some men will quote me now accusing me of supporting her without proof but they are supporting dbanj here without proof too. We all have a right to believe whoever we want to.

So because you worked for Shell or whatever oil company for 26 years, you should be a multi-millionaire in dollars and a billionaire in naira? Were you a mere emploee or a part-owner/entrepreneur? How much were his salaries and benefits all through his 26 years as an EMPLOYEE? How much did he spend campaigning for the senate, the previous failed attempts to be governor, and the eventually successful campaign? If he is still a billionaire after all these money gulping campaigns, that means he must have been worth tens of billionns before entering politics? All earned through 'dint of hardwork'. . .as an employee?

A lot doesn't add up here. I always marvel at how Nigerians (especially ignorant females) tend to justify questionable wealth with silly rationalizations: 'oh he is a top bank manager' (does that explain how come he owns a N300m house in VGC?); 'oh he works in NNPC' (is that enough for him to have 4 kids in foreign universities, and a house in Maitama?). It is only in Nigeria that someone retires as an employee with whatever company or government agency and is suddenly worth billions. How? Did the company allocate substantial shares to him (like is the case with CEOs of Fortune 500 corporations)? This country is just a huge joke. . .corruption is the very life blood of the nation, and almost everybody is involved - directly or indirectly.
You should have put your last paragraph in upper case Sir. Nigeria and Corruption are inseparable. When you're tired you abandon it ooo.

We all know. That's why I consider anybody still comfortable with our present unitary system nice as lacking intelligence.

Nigeria is a population of more than 200million people with leaders of poor quality. And the masses in serious mal behavior. What we need is to devolve power to regions.

I still remember Obasanjo calling South Eastern governors treasonable felonies for calling for a co Federal system of government. Unfortunately history has proven they were right after all. Also I remember Johnathan telling a journalist during interview that Nigeria is just so big and that Boko Haram were attacking soft targets.

When you pause and reason all together you will know why your country cannot be better. Even the army and the police sometimes support law break down just for the budget. I really pity all those making noise about how Nigeria will one day become paradise. Even UK that colonised us are not practising our system of governance.

Just listen people, expect for a drastic action like break up or regionalism, those hoping for a positive change are in for a long thing.

With my personal Experience, Observation and inner conviction, I think I dont want to be part of any religion again. This thing is truely an opium of illusion meant for people who cant take their destiny in their hands and for a sheeple masses.

Despite withdrawing from religion I found myself even having a better moral compass which I cant explain. We are throwing away common sense, hardwork and universal principles to leave in illusion. At the end of my observation I have come to the conclusion that its what you do for yourself that counts more.

When I see poor people dying of hungry in a country which have the capacity to be the global industrial hub I know we have throw away common sense, Nigeria biggest investment to South Africa is Religious buildings (Church) while here in Nigeria the South Africans brought us MTN, DSTV, SHOP RITE e.t.c which employs thousands of people and gives profit to our Investors inventing in the stocks and shares of those companies I realise religion is lack of common sense.

No amount of religion can make you succesful without application of common sense.
No amount of religion can make your marriage succesful without application of common sense and consideration for your partner.
No amount of religion can a nation grow and prosper without application of common sense, productivity and good policies.

At the end of it I think am leaving religion, its not worth it. Even uprightness and moral comes from a person inner conviction and not because of religion.
Welcome to the Good life. Now you know who is spending your money and on what. By the way Who is You. Cheers

FamilyRe: My Sister In-law Tried To Scam Me. by Joshforeal: 7:23am On Jun 04, 2020
Amya:
I've been looking to get a federal agency job in Abuja for a while now and haven't yet had any reasonable connection.

My sister inlaw ( husband's sister) a lady in her mid 40s who's divorced and a hustler type still trying to find her feet called me up one day and told me a friend of hers had a connection for Civil Defence and i should email my CV right away to her. I have never discussed jobs with her before so the call took me by surprise. I wasnt particular keen on Civil Defence and as a lawyer i had my sights much higher on parastatal or agency jobs. She might have sensed my reluctance on the phone and she went on to say

"I'm just doing you a favour ooo, many people are hoping for opportunities as this"

She had this tone of urgency.

I didnt especially like how she was hurrying me as i never approach anything with desperation and as such, have never been scammed. I told her I'll get back to her. Two hours later, she was messaging me on whatsapp that she hadn't seen my CV on her mailbox. I replied her saying

"Aunty i haven't sent it ooo, is the job slot free because me i don't have money ooo"

This was a very dicey situation for me because this woman is over 10 years my senior and i wanted to be as diplomatic as possible without causing family wahala.

She read my response but didnt reply.

Very early the next morning she called me and when i picked up, she said that the job wasnt free but the price wasnt too much, just N350k. That i shouldn't worry that she'll call my hubby (her brother) and ask him for the money. When i saw she was still pushing, i opened up to her that even if i wanted to pay for a job slot, it definitely wasnt going to be a Civil Defence job as i had my sights set on agencies and parastatals. I knew she was upset by how her voice changed. "Agencies? What's that?" I told her like NNPC, DPR, NCC and the likes
"NNPC? ehnnn.. Okay" She cut the call and i heaved a sigh that it was over. It wasn't.

Two days later, this woman called me again to tell me she has an NNPC job for me.

(you've gat to be kidding me!)

She said that her friend knows the director and he asked for one million but after begging him, he agreed to take 500k she started with her hurrying tactics that i had only 24hrs and if payment wasn't made before then that the offer will be withdrawn. At that time, NNPC were done with their recruitment process and i didnt even apply and knowing how stringent NNPC recruitment was, i knew that offer was impossible. She went on that if I didn't have the cash that she'd call her brother (hubby) to make the transfer immediately. I knew right then without a doubt that this woman wanted to use me to obtain her brother by all means. She can try to scam him directly and if he falls mugu, good for her but why try to use me in the scam? I went further with questioning her on the supposed NNPC job. "Please Aunty the director that is helping, where is he?
" Abuja nau" she replied getting irritated with my questioning.

She was in Lagos and i was in Abuja at the time
so i asked her if i could meet the supposed director one on one and pay him directly and even promised to reward her and her friend handsomely if the deal pulls through.

"No" she said abruptly "you pay the money to my account and ill give it to my friend to make the payment. All you have to do is just hope and pray"

Pray... That word. I knew then without a doubt that this Aunty was trying to scam me.

I told her "Aunty please dont be angry, i know you mean well for my future and want me to get a good job in NNPC but right now I've already paid part payment for another job somewhere and i wouldn't want to invest in two places at once" That wasnt true, i just had to get her off my tail once and for all. She was shocked. She angrily cut the call. She wanted to finesse her brother out of some cash using my future, what happens when the real slot comes around. Would i expect him to pay twice?

Her mum (mil) called me and started blasting me. Saying I'm feeling too big to be helped and her daughter was only trying to help me and now she never wanted to have anything to do with me again. That i should call her daughter and take the offer so that peace would reign. I didnt. Even my hubby blamed me and i couldn't even open my mouth to tell anyone i thought the whole setup was a scam. That's such a big accusation to make. The family dislike for me grew worse because of that incident.

Please did i do wrong?

Modified: For those asking me to talk to hubby, ofcourse i did but he genuinely believes his sister was trying to help and since i couldnt point out outright that the whole thing smelt of scam, hr thinks i rejected the offer because of pride. But i know better. It didnt cause serious issue between us though.
Marry ur friend una no go hear word. The issues are still coming as long as she didn't get that money. Take this comment to the bank.

Dear all,

I really need an advice. I currently work with one of the Nigerian banks. My monthly take home is about 450k and quite good. My major problem right now is that I have just been transferred from a Branch at one end of Lagos to another end of Lagos. All efforts to convince my boss to deploy me to a closer branch has proved abortive.

Going to work daily right now is a very difficult especially during this raining season and covid 19th period. I spend roughly 3-4 hours on the road when going to work and back home.

I am currently raising my kids on my own right now and dont know how I would manage when school resumes. Before now I drop them off on my way to work in the morning and my friend picks them up to her house in the afternoon till I get back.

I currently have a savings of 2million and would love to start a biz( I dont know what kind) as am comptemplating resigning and start a biz instead so that I can have time for my kids and not die due to stress

Please i really need advice for you all.

Before he gives me any money we always had issues, not like he doesn’t hv to give. He just doesn’t want to. I don’t even ask for much.

After service we continued dating, he had no job so I told him to get a teaching job he said never ever, he rather follow he’s friends up and down , I kept quite watching what his plans maybe, I hv never asked him for a dim since we finished service mid last year, got a teaching job so taking care of myself.

My birthday would be coming up, his just passed, I told him that I would be expecting some cash on my birthday. We talked today and he’s telling me he spent all he’s money for he’s birthday, that if money comes he will send but right now he has no money, placing me on the probability table, so I said u couldn’t keep the one u would send me, he said people were buying drinks and buying drinks and he couldn’t tell them to stop. Am like are u serious ? I had to remind him that my birthday is few days away and he started saying he won’t be able to send anything. I told him without him doing the needful that there is no us.

Am tired, he has no vision, No focus , no aim , he depends on his friends and it's annoying. I think about he’s future more than he does , he’s always in the present. He’s making me feel like a bad person that he would make it. I hope he makes it but the relationship is so draining and I am 100% faithful to someone with no sense of reasoning.
