Christianity Etc › Re: Find Any Three Of These Words In The Scripture And Win $100,000 – Reno by JuanDeDios: 11:26am On Sep 24, 2023

Lol

Reno is a goat.

All the words he put up there are English words. The bible wasn't written in English, rather, it was written in Greek, Biblical Hebrew and Biblical Aramaic.

Reno feeds on attention. And this is one of his usual schemes.
Non sequitur. His argument that you can't find these words in an English Bible means you can't find any root words that correspond to them if you read the Bible in their Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek originals.
Health › Re: Milk: I've Been Farting Uncontrollably After Taking This... by JuanDeDios: 11:20am On Sep 24, 2023
fadilaMaikiriki:
Whenever I take milk, I tend to fart uncontrollably, like non-stop farting. Imagine you being with someone and the person is farting every three or five minutes. Honestly, this can be so annoying for the fartee and embarrassing for the farter.

The farts is the type that make the "ssshhhhhhhhhhh" sound. And sometimes the fart becomes noisy or vibrates.

Please, what can I do to remedy this? What can I do to stop the fart? It happens whenever I take milk. I take pap alot( infact I prefer pap to tea), and I take the pap with milk because I don't use sugar. Please, is there any alternative? Maybe a better milk that I can use for the pap.

Please, is there any one here who has/is experiencing this?

Or is it because of that particular company's product (milk)?

Has anyone here experienced this?

I would really appreciate your inputs, suggestions/opinions.

Thanks.
Lactose intolerance.

You may have to give up milk - an adult doesn't need milk anyway. Or look around for a remedy that works - you might find one if you're lucky.

The organization is of the Devil. I have many of them around me. A woman like that marries to a man that attends a pentecostal church. ( I mean a family member, not Dem say) The marriage knows no peace. The children followed their mother initially, now, when they reconsider their mother's 'organizationally inspired ' evils are back to their father's religion.
Don't let people like MaximumSide deceive you. They can qoute Anthony Morris'drunkard's doctrines from morning to night. Behind the delicate and forced humility they display when they come knocking at your door is unspeakable evil like Jesus's proverbial white washed sepulchre.

Study the history properly, as there are some gaps in your knowledge.

The British forced Christianity unto Nigerians using economic blackmail.

When they seized our land, they also seized the means of access to the resources of our land by implication.

So the way to prosper came to be by acquiring a western education in a missionary school. To be accepted into the missionary school you had to abandon your traditional religion and get baptised, and become a Christian. And you were giving a new name like Samuel or Michael or Josiah.

Many people including the wealthy chiefs had no choice but to send their kids to the colonial schools if they were to progress in the new dispensation, and THAT was how Christianity came to be enthroned - through economic blackmail.
It's generally true that coercive persuasion sometimes was used for conversion. But I'm unconvinced that was the greatest factor - the bandwagon effect was. This is certainly true for the SE where 98-99% converted to Christianity in many places.

While kids who went to missionary-built schools were often required to practice Christianity WHILE IN SCHOOL, this was not enforced beyond school compound and no such requirements were made on their parents and other relatives. No chief needed to convert to Christianity so his kids could go to school. Oba Ovonramwen, while in exile, did not convert to Christianity yet some of his kids went to school and one or two were ordained as Christian ministers in Benin City. If conversion was a requirement for Western education, Western education won't have thrived side by side with Islam and traditional religions in Yorubaland.

When I was a kid, traditional practices and Christianity both thrived in my village. Christian boys did not take part in traditional initiation ceremonies, yet more than 2/3 of the boys in my community went for those initiations - because the influence of tradition was stronger than that of Christianity. But go to my village today - hardly anyone goes for those initiations. My friend went for a second burial in his village and came back to tell me of his shock that the eldest man in his community offered the traditional prayer and ended it with "In Jeeeezus' name" and everyone chorused "Aaaaamen". When I was a kid, our culture in my village was still alive and well - Christianity or not. Between when I was a kid and now, what happened? Oyinbos? No. A great shift took place in the IBB era and our people turned en-mass to a viral version of Pentecostalism. It has become the orthodoxy almost everywhere and here we are. We did this.

The Problem:

2. Nigeria police force sometimes lie better than the former.

The story looks like a liar using a liar to fight another liar and the liar is returning the favour back, the story just smells of deal gone wrong between 2 women who have planned to deal with each other using the police and the judiciary, looks like a case of connection fighting connection....
This is a decent summary of the story.

The Benin empire did not enslave its people, and slavery was banned in the Empire.

The Benin Empire did not participate in the trans-Atlantic slave trade, and any person found to be engaging in such activities within the kingdom was tried and executed.

It is a common Eurocentric, racist lie that great African monuments of antiquity such as the pyramids and great temples of Nubia and Egypt were built by ''slaves''. They were not.

They were EMPLOYED AND PAID by the state to do the work.

The Benin Empire was an honourable empire with civilized values.
Hmm. The Benin Empire had slaves. Did not enslave Bini people - this is largely true. But they did have igbon (slaves). Lots of them.

They did this to erase the handiwork and craftsmanship of our forefathers. This is the extent of damage the colonists did to us as a people

The walls were not just huge and big but they had mathematical inscriptions and advanced code symbols that were privy to the rulership class systems.

It was too inspirational and the Brits came in to destroy this in order to break the chain that links our identity from generation to generation. This eventually creates a loser's and conquered mindset which is why we as blacks do not easily recognise ourselves anymore.

It took several centuries to build that and imagine we continued up till this day, we would have kept advancing and advancing in our knowledge but they destroyed this and gave you guys nigeria.

It is because many of us do not know our history and the extreme damage of colonialism that we still embrace One Nigeria. This is why as they say, being a One Nigerian and an intellectual are mutually exclusive. What these colonialists carried out is more than genocide. This is the peak of world crimes. They didn't just end peoples, they ended their identity. This is deeper than what you can ever imagine.

They also destroyed Arochukwu temple in Abia today. They made us hate our ancestors and burnt temples and shrines all over southern africa. They gave us their fake bible and interpreted our ancestors like Esu and Ekwensu as "devil", very mischievously.

Africans do not know who they have been. Africans should stop looking forward... they have to first start from looking back and way back to see where they're coming from.

Where's Nsibidi today? Do you know we had systems of reading and writing? Our Ifa system they tried to demonise it. I posted Isese day on my whatsapp status, one bornfool was telling me to repent. A great pity for d black man but its not too late.
Lol at bolded.

Oyinbos didn't destroy our culture though. We did that ourselves. We embraced foreign faiths and took them to ridiculous levels. Jesus was not born in Britain too - he was foreign until the Brits adopted the Roman religion. Rome sef, Jesus was foreign until they adopted the religion from Judea. Today, they're mostly secular societies, using their heads instead of blaming Israel for bringing Bibles.

Don't stop... We're all here to learn. Can nsibidi be revived? I've heard so much about it! Imagine our kids being literal in English and nsibidi alphabet. If I die without seeing Africa rise, I will curse her 😠😔.
We were mostly the cause of our own problems. Don't believe all they say about the white man conspiring to destroy our culture. Or was it also the Brits that went to destroy Nsibidi?

The problem with Nsibidi and similar systems is that they were SECRET systems hidden behind the firewalls of secret societies. You had to BELONG to a certain group to be eligible to be taught certain things. To be eligible to join those groups or guilds, you had to be male and come from certain families and other criteria. These worked against development.

But it's easier to just blame the whites.

This whole thing is crazy! They told us all humans originated from Africa, how did they get to Europe, Australia, Americas, and Asia? Did Africans lose everything including that knowledge? 🤔

It might be possible since this generation is more fixated on making money from the internet and social media, our descendants might lose the knowledge to certain technology. But this time, we've got YouTube and well documented processes to help them.

The question begging for answers is: did we forget the knowledge to certain technology our ancestors possessed? Just look at the pyramid in Egypt...

I find it hard to believe these fvckers who want us to believe that Africans that were the first humans but were jumping from one tree to another 😐 prior to "the coming of the white man". It's hard to swallow that.
There's a whole lot we don't know. Everything written about pre-history is part-speculation, part-evidential and part-fiction. Even the theory that Homo sapiens evolved in and emigrated from Africa is no longer the orthodoxy.

the problem is you believers don't understand context of scripture

1 John 1:5 God is light and in him there is no darkness.

Yaweh created all things, and their is nothing that happens that he doesn't permit

So you can technically say something came from me because i permit it, this doesn't invalidate 1John 1:5

He that breaks the edge the Serpent will bite
Bolded makes sense. So because of that we should abandon the text of that verse and go with some interpretation. Ok. But I must warn you that taking this approach to the Old Testament will be very very exhausting - lots of unsavoury things to INTERPRET there.

I agree.

Sometimes the way these guys look down on us inspires me to make sure history doesn't repeat itself again.

While making a research, I came across onenimus (or something like that) who introduced innoculation to Americans. This was at a time, most of Americans believed "it was God who gives and takes" because they were helpless as they watched their children die.

You're right, if we had not been isolated from the rest of the world -- we wouldn't have to deal with statements like "the white man saved you... Y'all didn't even know how to start a fire". But on a second thought, why didn't our ancestors think of exploring the "unknown" world? Although I heard some of them actually did.
Any sub-Saharan Africans who left and travelled did so individually. They were the exceptions. We never built ocean-going vessels to explore the seas. We did not travel far as organized groups.

This got me thinking... Why didn't he order the intellectuals to develop a writing system after seeing how the Portuguese rolled? We would have gotten to hear Benin empire's history from the horse's mouth.
I've always wondered about this too. How come they didn't pick up the Latin alphabet and build schools, even if it's for the elite?

no far from it, yaweh only abadoned Saul to his own devices (more like he permits)

It is the absence of Yaweh that is the presence of demons, it's consistent with why Saul kept looking for Samuel cos yaweh shut his access to him

Again demons and Yaweh don't dwell in one sentence, when yaweh ark was taken to moleck house, all of moleck fell down flat
This is the problem with believers. They'll never read scripture for what it says but will find their own INTERPRETATION. It says "a bad spirit from Yahweh went to..." But no, Yahweh merely left Saul to his devices.

If you have been involved in Construction, you wont reason this way.

Projects that are executed by the Chinese or Julius Berger are done by who - Nigerians

You can go to any site and check: oil and gas, or Railway, government projects awarded to the foreign companies. It is Nigerians who are the Civil Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, masons, iron benders, carpenters, technicians, electricians, welders, fitters, etc.
What the foreigners are doing is mostly supervision (Slave drivers). They hardly bring in expertise. I have witnessed situations where the supervisors don't know what the workers are doing. They are there just to make sure the productivity targets are met. Earn more than Nigerians and treat them like slaves.

Give same project to Nigerian managed companies, Nigerian managers, engineers, supervisors, etc. and see complains everywhere, and failure to deliver.
That's the thing. You risk losing your money awarding a contract to a Nigerian. I know my people
