You see those low-paid people on 40-50-100k fixed salary a month? With a family? I sometimes wake up at night wondering how they're surviving. |

timay1: I mean if Russia intention was to over run Ukraine, why would it bother to even initiate those numerous agreements with respect to Ukraine since 2014. Even the last one last year in April 2022 that the west convinced Ukraine to reject after they almost agreed doesn't involve annexing the Donbass. With that agreement, they get to keep the Donbass, but must remain neutral as a country without having to join NATO, also they grant regional administrative autonomy to the Donbass, similar to the arrangement that Spain has with Catalonia, Hongkong with China etc
Now they will loose the whole Donbass altogether because zelensky didn't put his people first. but allowed himself to be used by the west as a stick to beat Russia
Please, reduce your daily dose of CNN abeg. Oh, one of them Putinistas. I wonder what you're on a daily dose of - Hindustan Times? PressTV? Please increase your dose of them. |

Mynd44: Sounds like good news for military arm suppliers.
Bad news for Europe sha because when this war ends, there will too many state-only weapons in the hands of non-state actors.
This is how ISIS started (America dropping arms to "rebels" fighting the Syrian government) Fair point. But would you suggest the alternative - leave Ukraine to be overrun by Putin? Every choice made made by man comes with its own problems. You can only take the utilitarian approach and hope history justifies you. |

It hasn't gone up since then and this is the same SIM that I was getting speeds of over 8mbps on. I've removed and cleaned and spat and scratched the SIM on the floor. I've slammed and slapped my device many times still no improvement. I muttered incantations still nothing.
The plan expires tonight and I doubt if I've used up to 1GB of it. Its so slow that YouTube cannot open.

densiks: Why wasn't she rushed to another hospital if they experienced rejection on arrival.
I was once a victim of an attack on the road in 1998 and my father rushed me to a private hospital.
I can recall the doctor was making some demands before he could commence treatment while I was losing blood.
My father quickly rushed me to another facility and from there an emergency doctor was summoned and the hospital services were activated to attend to me.
I survived that experience because we did not allow the system to decide my fate.
I believe if she was immediately rushed to a private facility, she possibly could have survived.
May her soul rest in Peace, several people failed her. Wrong belief since you don't know the circumstances/how much blood she'd lost/how long she had left. |

If I have a baby aborted while in the US, you cannot bring a case against me in Nigeria as it is not a crime where it happened.
Plus, the moment the document was taken back to the school to certify it affirms their permission Actually, we'd bring charges against you in Nigeria if Nigerian law forbids Nigerian residents from travelling outside Nigeria to procure an abortion. Many countries have laws like this. |

FreeStuffsNG: Stop misinforming people. As we type here, Ghana is so broken broke that it cannot even pay back the holders of its euro bond and is even begging Nigeria to accept gold in place of scarce forex from her to pay for oil , gas and electricity. You accuse me of "misinforming" but go ahead to say nothing that refutes what I said. Ghana's current inflation and debt crises are well known. How does that change the facts they're ahead of us in the areas I mentioned? And if you think Ghana's inflation and debt crises are much worse than ours, you can continue in your bubble. |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Africa: Top 10 Countries With The Largest Gold Reserves 2023 by JuanDeDios: 9:25am On Oct 05, 2023 |
FreeStuffsNG: Funny enough that same Ghana, formerly called Gold Coast, is among the last on the list , even behind Nigeria.
Despite being an independent nation before Nigeria, Ghana, like other nations older than our nation, have gone way behind Nigeria in terms of development and if anyone had predicted that Ghana would be behind us even in Gold, no one would have believed it.
I am happy that the CBN, under Emefiele, had even assured our Gold miners that Federal Government is ready to buy their gold from them too.
We need more investments in mining.
There's abundance of gold in Osun and Oyo state. This is the best time to invest in the mining sector and you will even enjoy tax holidays for 3 years and you can repatriate 100% of your funds! Invest in Lagos and the neighbouring South West states to enjoy great returns and best investor- friendly experience.
There's huge clay, sand for glass making etc deposit in Lagos , Ogun has loads of granite, bitumen, limestone etc, Osun and Oyo have perhaps the largest deposit of lithium ore in Africa along with gemstones, gold etc, Ondo has one of the world's largest deposit of bitumen.
Bring your investment to South West Nigeria today. God bless Nigeria for ever! Check my signature for free stuffs! Ghana has actually done well in some key areas. It's AHEAD of Nigeria in electricity, ease of doing business and human development indexes. |

Janosky: Matthew 5:20 & John 9:4, did Jesus Christ teach there is DIFFERENCE between him/the disciples and others? Perhaps you'll be so kind to point out how this is a response to my post. I merely answered the OP's questions - truthfully. I did not offer an opinion as to whether the Witnesses are right or wrong in their obsessions. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Why Do Jehovah's Witnesses "Hate" Christian Songs But Sing Secular Songs? by JuanDeDios: 12:59pm On Oct 01, 2023 |
HISSCRIBE1995: I noticed that the jehova witnesses around me usually feel uncomfortable when a christian song is been played but they are quick to dance and sing along to secular (even ungodly ) songs. They seems not to like hearing a christian sermon but would prefer to listen to sermons from other faith (islam)
Now the question is - why do these people react this way but chose to be more positive to unchristian subject rather than christian subject of which they are already familiar with. It is also a wonder that these people Choose not to be identified as Christians (please if I'm wrong with this assertions you can correct me) I think these organizations need to be studied very well to see why they Choose to be the way they are (their doctrines, and differences in scriptures)
If you know anything about this group called jehova witnesses, or had experienced some of their reactions, please share so that the church and general public can know more about them and their beliefs without castigasting anyone. Two reasons I can think of. 1. The Witnesses are obsessed with DIFFERENCE and go out of their way to emphasise how different they are from other religions, especially Christians. 2. All religious people have a confirmation bias - thus, they flatly REFUSE to consider anything that might contradict their belief and seek out anything that confirms it. The Witnesses just take this to the extreme - so they will not countenance ANY FORM of exposure to materials from other churches less they're "led astray". |
