Maybe concession the whole damn country to a consortium led by KPMG and Akintola Williams Delloite and JP Morgan to run for 25 years with clear KPIs and see how it goes.

It is only a fool that will forget 18Million in Keke and it takes another bigger foolish person to return 18Million.

That Keke man will never be rich again in his life.Lack of education may have contributed to him returning that money and the owner of the money only gave the Keke man 400K for already lost 18Million.

Aboki nah aboki come and tempt a Delta state man with 18Million
Cantonese:
Come and tempt you, not a Delta state man or a very decent person.

People like you no dey see that kind money.

Politics › Re: Nigerians Bear ₦‎1 Trillion Metering Burden As CBN, World bank Backpedals by JuanDeDios: 11:44am On Sep 19, 2023
Racoon:
While noting that the increase in metering is inevitable, a Professor of Energy and Electricity Law at the University of Lagos, Yemi Oke said the call to upgrade meters is suspicious and must be rejected.

“They don’t trust them. I don’t see why a meter that has been duly tested and calibrated needs to be upgraded,” he said.

Oke said Nigerians must not submit to the idea that their meters must be upgraded, stressing that there is no convincing evidence that the meters are faulty.

DaddyJapan:
Gazette has played fast and loose with its tilted reporting yet again.

Yes it is true that a dishonest Gbajabiamila had his license suspended for 36 months in 2007.
But then according to the State Bar of Georgia, it appears that the permanent termination mentioned above was strictly because dishonest Gbajabiamila subsequently became delinquent with his license fees - and nothing more.

A moot point in the scheme of things, I know, but accuracy is what underpins balanced and fair reporting in journalism. cool

kingreign:
Yes, the church isn't a place for the righteous only but more for sinners. This is because Jesus Christ didn't come to save the righteous or already saved souls, but he died to save sinners and draw them back to righteousness.

Please, when you go to church, pray for forgiveness and repentance of your sins and do not go back to your sins.
I don't understand. When did sex = sin?

The same state has the highest numbers of leaders at the federal level right from Nigeria's inception. The same state has lots of industries and schools that are generating income for them.
I concur that Ogun State is the most misgovered state in Nigeria since 1999 to date.
Christianity Etc › Re: How Did We End Up With So Many Churches? by JuanDeDios: 10:59am On Sep 17, 2023
Righthussle:
We have more churches today because of the sharing formula of tithe and offering of a church. The owner of a church takes everything the gullible congregants bring to church, so people who want to partake in the free money quickly open their own church.
I'd say this is a fairly accurate summary of the situation. Not all churches are business schemes run by a venal entrepreneur. But 96.34% of them are.

Nonetheless, no neutral, independent-minded person would fail to see that Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi had really weak cases. If a judicial cabal wrote the PEPT judgement, Atiku and Obi made the job easy for the cabal.

The centerpiece of the electoral petitions against Tinubu’s victory was that Tinubu should be disqualified from running for the last presidential election because of a whole bunch of things they alleged against him, most of which revolved around questions of his irrefutable moral turpitude. Unfortunately, immorality isn't always illegality.

The petitions were high on emotions, conjectures, moral posturing, grandstanding, logical absurdities (such as insisting that candidates must win 25 percent of the FCT to win a presidential election thereby making Abuja more important than every part of Nigeria, that Tinubu should be disqualified for a voluntary civil forfeiture of drug money in the US more than three decades ago, that Tinubu should be disqualified because of false and ignorant claims that he didn't graduate from Chicago State University, or for perjuries he committed more than 20 years ago, etc.) than on legally sound, substantive arguments about the election itself.

This is the meat of the matter. This is what I've been telling them from Day 1.
