IGBOSON1:
Anyone caught, tried and convicted should pay for his crime! This is the main thing!

Trying to draw attention to their ethnicity is for what? If your country had provided them with opportunities to earn a decent living i doubt we would be here discussing this today! This issue of getting gov't to be accountable and work for the people is all what IPOB is about! If you have a problem with their modus-operandi then start your own movement to change things....just like Sowore tried to do before they silenced him!
Everything you wrote is true. Although, on the bolded, some people will commit crime no matter what. Shame on those trying to ethnicise this.

You mean you're in the movie industry and you're calling your colleague "olosho". Why?

True;but every other radio & TV matter e.g. content etc . handled by Information ministry
Really? MoI is responsible for AIT's content? I think you're talking about government-owned stations. If you mean content MONITORING, that's done by NBC, which I believe is a parastatal under MoC.

Nigerians self...sometimes tact no dey.
Nigerians just love to beg. When Mohammed Abacha and other Abacha-era criminals were detained, some people went to beg Obasdanjo. In 1984, when the Buhari-Idabgbon regime detained some politicians, some emirs and sheikhs went to Lagos to beg for some northern politicians. Buhari asked them to go see Idiagbon. And Idiagbon, after listening to the emirs, told them how many minutes they had to get out of Lagos. Come and see emirs hurrying to the airport!

That's right. I meant to say NBC. I believe they're under Communications.

Information = NTA

Communication = MTN
NTA is regulated by NCC, which is a parastatal under the Ministry of Communications. So I doubt if NTA is under the Information Ministry. But, again, the Information Ministry uses NTA for its propaganda, right?

*Edit
I meant NBC, not NCC.

What's the different between minister of information and minister of communication?
The first is the government's town crier, grave whitewasher and liar-in-chief. The second is in charge of MTN, Glo, posting of letters, radio and TV matters, etc.

I hope he's not thinking like you because if he is there won't be progress. This isn't Fashola's cup of tea - it's a private initiative. Let him come up with a business plan and find private sponsors. (I'm not saying banks, because I doubt Naija banks would fund someone without a history.) Once he succeeds, everyone, including Fashola would be struggling for photo ops with him.

In Western countries, you'd need a permit to be able to keep a dangerous animal at home. They'd inspect your facilities to forestall an escape and harm to the community. I don't know what the law is in Nigeria.

Paroh:
I live alone near Yaba. My neighbor, a woman, just moved in last year with her two kids, a 3 year old and like 7, 8 months baby. Apparently her husband works in Enugu and can't be with them here in Lagos. So as I love kids I like to have them around and play with them at my spare time. The issue now is the woman feels it's her birthright for me to watch the kids while she go about their business (she has a provision store just in front of their house). Early morning this woman will come and drop her kids with me and vamoose. Even this morning she woke me up from sleep to come and carry baby. Can you just imaginehuh

Every single time I try to tell her I'm busy cleaning or cooking or studying the woman starts to beg me with tears in her eyes that they're swamped and I end up taking them. Times like this I wish I'd a job so I can at least go out in the morning let me see if they'll die but with none please how can I convince them to leave me the hell alone? I'm fed up.
You write so well. It's always good to read excellent prose.

Yes. You can't speak when you're in uniform. Would you want to be protected by a policeman who does not respect his IG or the President and is thus liable to disobey a direct order? What he's allowed to do is resign and join politics or become a journalist or something. Everything he said is true but you can't speak this way when you're in uniform.

On a high profile covert op in an area where there's active military personnel op ongoing?, Yes
That's not accurate. What you're required to do is inform the local division - this applies to all agencies on covert ops, including DSS. The golden rule of cover ops is to keep the circle of knowers small - ONSA doesn't tell anyone anything, unless there's a specific reason to.

Still, the police were careless with the lives of those officers. They ought to have a protocol for transporting high-value detainees. They should have used a helicopter or a convey with five vehicles, with one or two of them armoured. A crime boss who collects N100m ransoms in one Hilux truck? Where on earth is that done?
