All these don't mean nothing to me. They are just for the purposes of optics.

As long as the underlying issues behind that letter remain unresolved, it would only be a matter of time before shiit blows in their faces yet again.
There won't be any shit. When Amaechi complained about Sidika, what happened? There've been others. Just another "scandal" swept under the carpet in Nigeria's Augean stable. Kachikwu ought to have resigned once Baru went to Aso Rock and subsequently asked a junior to respond to Kachikwu. Na dem know, abeg.

Stop saying what u don't know... They were 2 soldiers that day one wasnt on uniform while the other was... What could have bin done was done there just that the emergency door was opened by that engineer and as soon as they saw the door opened, they ran out...
Stop being antsy. I only asked you questions in response to what you wrote. And if you did not get their names so this can be reported to the appropriate authorities I wonder what could have bin (sic) done that you did.

One of d list shows dat dis is Aboh Mba Ise which is in IMO state, why will d op use Anambra its unfair biko, am from anambra & no mother I repeat no mother in Anambra will demand for a bag of cloth or pant or bra, d norms in Anambra is a Wrapper ur capacity determine d kind of wrapper u buy, wen I got married I bout Houlandies.... but its not a must ok hollandies is quiet Expensive but I just want to make it a memorable day for my wife & mind u d wrapper is part of d cloth dat will be in ur wife box & not d inlaw which means it is for ur wife. u can use a cheaper wrapper ok....dem no dey marry wife finish, just do wat u can in Anambra, den u can gradually finish up d rest when u wish ok.....if u want a wife from Anambra go for her Don't judge from afar, go close to ur in-law & let dem know wat u can handle, dey will underline d important things on d list u must do to take ur wife home, others can come later in life, but if u are buoyant enuf u can handle all once & for all no be by force, so cowards should not use list as a means not to get married, if u love ur wife make d moves first..... #PROUDLYMARRIEDANAMBRARIAN.
You're right. When my friend got married to an Anambra girl he was a fresh graduate who just started working. They brought their list but he did what he could and nobody tied a rope on his neck.

Your post makes no sense. Everyone is not a politician. It is only a small percentage of the population (less than 1-2%) who would not bat an eyelid at casually parting with "not up to N1m for the bride's family". Anybody who earns a salary would have a problem with this. Anyone who earns N250k per month would have a problem with it, and how many graduates of 5 years experience earn N250k?

The gods found in all religious text do bad and funny things because the human writers of those text project their human emotions into those gods. The Ooni was expected to be different since he's a real thinking person who even consults oracles for choice of spouse.

They're still dangerous. This, here, is a viper and their venom can kill very fast, but they're not quick to attack. This isn't a python - ignore the headline. Pythons, by the way, are nonvenomous. As for spitting, that is the specialty of cobras.

Jetleeee:
Lagos and Ogun should be able to pay back. I don't know about the rest

Ogun's annual statutory allocation has always been low anyway and that's what Amosun has been fighting for

Heck! Ogun state’s IGR, according to the stats was 127 percent higher than the allocation it received in 2016

while the IGR of Lagos state was 169 percent higher than its 2016 allocation.

While I believe Lagos and Ogun can pay back, this should serve as a wake up call forcing them to be financially healthy. Same goes for other
SW states

Surprisingly, Borno, the state worst hit by Boko Haram is not on this list

P.S: These are 2015 stats, but I believe not much has changed since then
That Shetima is actually a great governor in spite of Boko Haram.

Poisonous? Yeah, i know that

Edible? I just screamed

Snakes are celebrated here...why?
The only people who eat snakes are people who were raised to eat them. The only people who don't eat them are people who weren't raised to eat them. Note that nobody eats every kind of snake - you eat only the species they eat where you grew up. The most popular species for consumption, though, are pythons and adders. I think they're celebrated here because anything out of the ordinary is celebrated.

MaziOmenuko:
Shey there was a bounty of N30mil on Evans head? They should just share the money to the officers involved and forget promotion.

I understand what their colleagues are grunting about, it wouldn't be fair to the system in all honesty. There should be reward for hard work but double promotion shouldn't be it. Give them the bounty so there will be peace, b4 person put bullet for another person skul come talk say na accidental discharge.
Rewards for information leading to the arrest of criminals are announced for the benefit of members of the public, not policemen for doing their job. At least, that is how it works in the civilised societies. But you are right. A double promotion is highly problematic. There should be other ways of rewarding these officers. I'm surprised the IG couldn't seem to see that.

LOL! Ok, does it make sense to you that on top of the "platonic" dinners, he also gave her his credit card to run wild with? Any person with more than two brain cells working together would go "Hmmmm". It's not a matter of superstition but sense. I bet his accountant or financial adviser is also as befuddled as I am because this is unusual behavior & when something doesn't make sense, you explore all possible theories, now that's what sets me apart from your 94%. I'm not gullible enough to believe what she says, I form my own opinions on the given facts.
You don't get it.

True. Because it makes no sense for a doctor, who is probably a logical man, to piss away his hard earned money on just company, when he could get a whole lot more for less elsewhere. It doesn't add up.
He does not want "a whole lot more". He is getting everything he wants - an exciting person to go places, sit and chat with. But what's to help you see that? Unfortunately, 94% of Nigerians think like you.

You don't know what you are saying OP. So you mean to tell me that a person who does any of these noble and legit jobs is lazy? What about jobs such as prostitution, arm robbery, fraud, blood money and the list goes on, what will you then classify the persons doing them as?. Maybe you should review the word 'lazy', so you can grasp its contextual meaning. I am a writer and I don't consider myself lazy; I am simply in my niche.
Those professions aren't for lazy people too ooo! grin

Our Yoruba brothers can be one funny bunch of people. The same people that when this same Oba made the lagoon statement, because of their bias and hate for the Igbo people, even people who did not support the Oba's uterance told us not to abuse him because he is a traditional ruler. fast forward to day, he's now the worst thing after satan because he dared to insult the Ooni of Ife. This just re-enforces the popular saying that "Injustice anywhere is Injustice everywhere". What goes around comes around.

Yes, you may be right.
But the question is, how come these eyesore situations usually occur in cases of infidelity.
Because they're what create a spectacle. If it happens with single folks, it's most likely they will just call a friend who will find a doc. But with married folks, they themselves and everyone already think it's juju. Again, I'm not dismissing magun, even though I'm yet to be convinced about it. Just pointing out the other possibility.
