Romance / Re: Ladies: Would You Marry a Younger Man? by juleze(f): 9:17pm On May 16, 2022
Ra:

You see, this is where some people get it wrong. When a woman or a man for all that matters, decides to date outside their normal circle (age-wise, social standing, class etc) simply because they're, so to speak, advancing in age, it hardly ever works. Where a woman who is so mature and finds it a challenge carrying on an intellectually stimulating affair/relationship with even her mates decides to descend to dating a younger guy simply because she's 35, she is, to me, sitting idly on the verge of desperation and inevitable heart break. Sometimes she ends up loosing a lot of money to the guy before she realises what exactly he wanted from her in the first place. It would never work. I therefore maintain my position... it's simply not worth my time, emotion or and resources. Finito!

It's not always a case of desperation but we need to know that when she's 35+ a younger man, hopefully, is in his 30s and so matured. For example, he may be 33 while she's 36; this means he's more matured and more viable for a relationship than when he was 26.
At this age, the percentage difference between them is less; when he was 26, it would have been 10% but at 34, there's only an 8% difference in age, and it reduces as they both mature in age.

Desperation is going for a man who she's incompatible with on various levels regardless of age.
Deciding to go for a man that's younger, after rejecting the idea previously, is simply an update of ideals rather than a lowering of standard. The age of a man isn't a determinant of much when it comes to standard compared to values like character, personality, thought pattern, prudence, wisdom etc.
Besides, the woman may realise that it's an advantage going for a man a few years younger that's mentally alert, intellectually stronger and potentially more virile, than a man few years older than her.
Also, he's probably doing better, professionally and financially, than even the older men she knows.

Ps: I've seen a girl of 18 year old saying she would slap her 16 year old brother if he spoke like her former boss (who's a friend of mine), who's in his 40s. So much for age being a standard.

Pets / Re: Share Your Opinion: Is It Right To ALWAYS Beat Your Dog When Training Them? by juleze(f): 6:13pm On Apr 19, 2019
Comparing the training of a child and the training of a dog is not a balanced comparison because of just ONE FACTOR- Dogs generally live to please humans while humans generally live to please themselves.
This means that the child is trying to have his way or do whatever he feels like doing while a dog is busy listening to you and trying to understand your non-verbal language to ensure he doesn't offend you.
When I call my dog in a certain way, she knows she's doing something I don't like and she stops; same with her little son. I call his name in a certain tone and he stops. Yelling at her would be too much except when she's yelling at stranger- then she can't feel hurt by loud voice.
Sometimes, I look at her a certain way and she stops.

Dogs are very emotional creatures and so trying to cow them by force can lead to the breeding of a wild animal. By instinct, they would protect their territory and owner.

When dogs attack or kill non-intruders, it's 99% the owner's fault.

Chances are he finds her to be too much for him. Shes probably a bit bossy or gets on his nerves.
Same with my dog; he doesn't like my female dog and they've lived through years of heat but he wouldn't go near her. Even when she begs him, he gets mad at her.

UKVI can assess you previous visas and visits to the UK including numbers of days spent on previous visit by simply using your biometric data, landing cards and airline passenger information. Failure to submit copies of previous passport would not be used to denied you a visa, if you are qualified to get one. You have nothing to worry about in that regard.

Thanks a lot for your response.
I'm glad to know they can access and assess my travel history without my passport details. I guess I can chill and keep my fingers crossed.
Going through this thread made me bothered about my chances, though.

I think there is a portion on the application form where you can fill in your travel history in the last ten years out of your home country, didn’t you fill that?
And also the TSL guy should have made copies of ur old visas and add them to your application

I filled my travel history in the form but I was wondering if they would have the information to enable them to confirm that I was in and out within such short period of time each time I went there.
Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by juleze(f): 5:17pm On May 22, 2018
I have travelled to the UK 5 times, previously. I used to go annually, never spend more than a month, changed jobs and went last in 2014. I stay with the same person each time I travel (my cousin). Presently, I earn significantly lower but I still want to go on vacation, this year.

What I'm hinging on is my good travel history to the UK. I always apply for 6 months visa because that's all I need to travel each time. Sadly, this time around, you're not allowed to include previous passport; I didn't know this until submission. I learnt I was to have made copies and attached.

My questions are:
- What are my chances being that almost all other things are against me?
- Would they be able to access my previous visits or should I scan my old passport and send to them?
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Fresh Graduates Recruitment At Evaton Oil & Gas Company by juleze(f): 12:15pm On May 24, 2016
This is pure scam.
I was already typing an email to them when I decided to do a quick research. The website is too poor for an American company. The spelling of some words is totally unbelievable for a medium-sized Nigerian company, albeit an international one.
Having a website is pretty easy (my company can host and build one for you for next-to-nothing) and so the presence of a website isn't proof of its authenticity; a non-existent company can have one.
All I could see about them was job offerings; no news of their presence in Nigeria, no media news by established media houses about them...NOTHING BUT JOB VACANCIES!!!
I believe we need to be less gullible in the name of lack of job and not set up our email addresses for 'heaven knows what'.

DO your research before falling for it!!!

I was checking out some information and came across a treatment for ttcs. †ђξ man said he was yet to see a couple it didn't work for.
It's apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) mixed with honey and warm water taken every evening. I take ACV for its numerous other benefits and was shocked to find out this benefit again. Just ensure you buy †ђξ one made by Braggs (from †ђξ US) as it contains all †ђξ nutrients unlike †ђξ ones i̶̲̥̅̊n̶̲̥̅̊ †ђξ stores ytat have been filtered. You can get this brand from naturalnigerian.com, healthplus and medplus.
Also ensure you get real honey.
What this does is that it alkalinizes †ђξ body and reduces acidity.

I also heard about using DHEA 75mg 3 times daily to incease †ђξ quality of †ђξ eggs. But try †ђξ above first and constantly use ovulation kits to know when you're ovulating. You can use mymonthlycycles.com to keep track of your ovulation signs.

Finally, google forums for ttcs and join one or two. Those westerners have a trailerload of information, experiences and what their GPs and health practitioners told them to try and how it worked.

Maybe if you had him/her earlier, too might have been irritated by †ђξ didturbances from a baby and it may have even changed you from a loving husband to an irritable one. This wait is enough for you to value him/her and God full grant you twins i̶̲̥̅̊n̶̲̥̅̊ Jesus Name.

At our last programme, a woman who had waited long became a mother of 5 children withing 2 years, so twins isn't hard for God. Just hold on to Him and He'll do it.

Stress and worry can affect a woman's ability to give birth.
Please tell her to be of good cheer and begin to be happy like she can see †ђξ manifestation. This is particularly important. Let her draw inspiration from †ђξ woman who said "it is well" because she believed.

Finally, pls tell her to get her body for pregnancy by taking preggies vitamins and researching fruits and probably natural supplement (you can get lots at healthplus in †ђξ malls) like vitex , fenugreek, fennel, primrose oiletc. etc.

grandlexuz: A few months back I was discussing with my kid sister and she was very furious on why male adultery was lightly looked upon in Africa. This was my explanation to her. If she told mum she has seen the man of her dreams, what would be her first question?? "Weti dey man di work?" Why? Because a mans first role is to provide for his wife and family. On the other hand when a man tells the mum he has seen the woman of his dreams, what is often the first response, " I hope say no be na dis Lagos girls"-lol I never heard any mum refused the son from marrying a girl because she got no job..lol Their major concern is uprightness and a morally backup family or village..lol True talk right? I am not saying it is close to right for a man to cheat, but the repercussions when a woman cheats is higher. Women, did you know in most cases if your man was cheating with the girl next door, that girl would be scared of you and unable to look at you in the eyes. Try cheating with the guy next door and check out his swag when he meets with your husband at the corridor..lol

False!
Why do househelps become bolder once they've started sleeping with oga?

so, if a woman is only faithful, but won't take care of themselves, their husbands are stillproud of them?
and if a man can't provide for his family due to a setback, he can then lose his wife's respect?

grandlexuz:

And the good book also said a man may not divorce his wife except in the case of adultery. Chai the good book even knows how painful a woman's adultery is!

Not adultery, but fornication.
Fornication in this case refers to marriages that are wrong, for instance, incestuous marriages that were discovered to be so later, or marriages to divorcees, as Jesus said that he that marries a divorcee is committing adultery. He/ she's another's until death do them part.
Family / Re: Should A Husband Forgive An Adulterous Wife? by juleze(f): 1:18am On May 30, 2013
For those who say that some cheating men still love their wives, you lie!
why would you put her health at risk for your selfishness or erode the trust she has in you because of your greed?
That's not love at all!
Incase you don't know, you also put your future child at risk of contacting herpes, as condom doesn't cover the whole genital (lets not even talk about the faulty batches that were recalled or other problems). Once you've gotten herpes, you can transfer it to your wife, who can also transfer to your child. Annoying thing is that you can have it for years, without symptoms.
If you won't do it for your wife's sake, do it for your kids'.
Family / Re: Should A Husband Forgive An Adulterous Wife? by juleze(f): 1:03am On May 30, 2013
livebullet:

becos by nature , a man has more than 1 slot for a wife. God made it so. Each woman is made just 4 1 man.
Fallacy!!!
If God did, then why would he punish men for adultery? That's too far self; if a man isn't loving his wife like he should, his prayers wouldn't be answered. An adulterous man is as guilty as an adulterous woman in the sight of God and any true Christian
