cheksbry: . Hello graviton I have the same issue,I'm 24 years old and I finished secondary school in 2008, studied. A course I never was apt for, for 4 years, coupled with financial issues ,family was experiencing at the time, for the next 2 years I worked as a freelance webdesigner, and now I'm applying to study computer science in the Usa. My main motivation is that technology is becoming an integral part of our lives, and that I will become a better software developer/ tech entrepreneur if I do an undergrad course in CS in the usa.....are these reasons enough to convince a VO when asked what I did from 2008 till the present What was the course? Is it in anyway related to CS? |

Congratulation to u9052, Stewee and the others that got their visa approval. More good news to come. Personal Observation: Statistics show that so many people get denied and never bother to come back here with their transcripts. This attitude wouldn't help you in any way. Bring it on and let the house help you. Someone might spot out what you never thought was your flaw. |

youngbilly1: hello @all. please I wanna ask a question. is it I know someone who has lived in Malaysia legally for studies. He wasn't denied a US visa. It is even an added advantage. You can only be denied if you violate immigration laws of another country because it is a sign that you may likely do the same while in USA. |

Walspring: Of course you can change anything you supplied orally. What they type is just remarks about your responses. E.g, Unconvincing reason for choosing Bleep, home ties is convincing, doesn't meet financial requirements, etc. There is no way they can type what you are telling them. |

idee91: Hello guys !!! My broda wants to apply for phd in construction/ civil engeneering management... what score is he expected to get, in toefl and gre , to get funding. He finished frm Abu building with a cgpa 3.88... and pls recommend some skulls too Is that 3.88 on a 4.0 scale or 5.0? There is no particular score for funding. He should only put in all effort to perform excellently. Availability of funds will also play a great role. Has he done Msc or wants to apply for Phd directly from Bsc? |

dahfweshdude69: am a boy Ok boy you are lucky they took the blame. It could have been a lot worse. I am sure that VO has been probed for not noticing the discrepancy in the DS form information and sevis fee payment confirmation page. Graviton v.2.0.: Were you expecting them to tell her to go ahead to a school which she wasn't interviewed for? Don't forget my first advice was that she contacts the consulate because I don't know if DS-160 is checked at POE. I insisted there was no harm in contacting the consulate. I further advised her to go ahead if she doesn't mind attending the school on her visa cos the visa maybe revoked and re issued for the new school with or without a new interview. If she didn't report herself, there would have been no problem as well. |

slimmy05: She has already in the first place created the immigrant intention which VO's are OK with. She needs to chill and take care of her baby for a year and then re-apply and go alone. First impression counts. I understand your point but its far different from this scenario. What do you expect the woman to do in those years? If there was a job here for her in the first place, she wouldn't pack her load and full family to the consulate. From their transcript, you can see they have no time to spare. The journey has to begin now with at least one member of the family. 1 Like |

slimmy05: If what you hammer on is the 5years leaving the 3years stated by xteemed then you just confirmed your kind of person to me. No matter the kind of person you think I am, it doesn't change the fact that nobody should be advised to delay his/her dreams for even 3 years when there are other immediate solutions. That is self imposed ban. 1 Like |

Come on, nobody should advise couple and kids (Green120) to wait for 5 years. Do you think 5 years is 5 days? We never can tell what their intention is. The best option is to defer to spring and the wife should apply alone. She should be prepared to explain how she has arranged for her babies to be taken care of in her absence. Again, we have been focusing on home ties only. From her transcript, she clearly didn't respond to other questions well. She has to study previous transcripts and know how to respond to questions about her school and program. Once she gets the visa and starts her program, her toddler can apply for F2 while the husband and older baby apply for B2 for visiting just to take the toddler over. If your intention is to remain there while her program runs, you can then explore other means to convert B2 to F2 while already there. Best of luck. 1 Like |

henry4fun: DELAYED Transcript: kindly advice Apart from your dry responses, everything was good until the bolded. You should show stronger ties with your uncle. Education in the US is very expensive. Hence, there should be a concrete reason why an uncle would want to spend so much millions on you. Go again immediately and work on that line. He should be more of a father figure in your life since childhood and maybe even financially responsible for your education since undergraduate. Again, how good is the flow of funds in that account? 5.9M may be accepted from a father or father figure. But from an uncle who just wants to show gratitude, it may be unconvincing. 1 Like |
