This poster’s a joker. I can’t believe she’d actually defend that crappy article. It’s a pity we Nigerians always think the worst of ourselves. Women are being marginalized, everywhere in the world. All those stories about Nigerians taking crap is strictly restricted to illiterates and people with low self esteem. And that too is not just here in Nigeria, all over the world.

I totally agree with Onyinye. There’s no reason to do crazy things or stay in an abusive r/ship. Maybe if you are gullible or desperate, yes. But a right thinking woman knows she should walk if a guy doesn’t treat her right. Cos if he can’t get it right now, it’s only going to get worse later law of diminishing return  cheesy
Make God bless you ma sister.

This poster na frustrated woman wey never get 9ja guy. I wonder why she so desperately wants a 9ja guy in spite of all the negative things she believes of the 9ja man. It's time some of our proper women stand up and speak. . . not women who cant find husbands and are bitter.
Too many women here talk from bad experiences and I cant blame them but proper women are in their husbands homes being good wives, not  coming online to debase their men. Women wey no sabi behave well to have stable homes should go and learn from those who are successfully in stable homes rather than pointing to Nigerian men as evil. Who hold una not to follow men from other countries sef?

The Nigerian Man from whose rib she was made passed away, and instead in his place, came the Nigerian Man born from the linage of Esau; who sold his birth right for a mussel of bread, the Nigerian Man today has traded his birth right as the head of the family, the one who commands respect, was revered by all for his gentle greatness; and now for almighty dollar, waits for his wife's paycheck for the roof over their head, worse, he drops off his wife at work and then goes back to sleep.
Sad state of the Nigerian man
RomanceRe: The Nigerian Woman I Knew by JustGood(m): 4:50pm On Sep 12, 2008
The Nigerian woman I knew was strong, but not hard, she ruled her home with strength and love, she embraced her success and was confident in her talents and had no need to lord her superiority over her husband. The Nigerian woman understood she was the pillar of her family, but was confident enough to let her husband play the role without demeaning his masculinity. The Nigerian woman I knew, silently acknowledged her husband could not do without her, but she never voiced it. The Nigerian woman I knew accepted her ability to build her home and enable the great success of her husband, and she rejoiced in his greatness, knowing it was a by product of hers.
I like this woman o

now why you have to go there. why bring the family in it

What do you have againt a person who is mixed.

why are you targeting me?

If it makes you happy, Let me get off your forum
Sorry I have made you feel that way. But you should not have come at me if you cant take it in return. Why did you have to start what you cant finish?

That girl insulted me on a thread somewhere just for posting my opinion. If anyone insults me just for airing my opinion, they should be ready to be insulted in return. AND there was no need for you to get involved in it.

Sorry about that

FamilyRe: Nigerian Women SPOIL men with their over tolerance by JustGood(m): 11:54am On Sep 12, 2008
poster, since you have chosen to believe anything you read, I'll also start writing about brazil based on what I hear from just anyone and we'll see how correct my writings will be.

People who write about Nigerian from outside Nigeria never cease to amaze me; even if they are Nigerians. Mostly they form opinions based on the little that they see or hear about which is ofter very wrong and biased. For instance, in Europe a lot of people still believe that Nigerian men traffic women by force to European nations. Only some who have met Nigerians before or who have been to and lived in Nigeria know better.

make una carry una generalisations comot

You're so foolish it's hilarious. why don't you throw your laptop away and go howl in the jungle you came out of, naked?
Africans musn't accept every kind of change. Doesn't mean we should keep foolish and embarrassing traditions either. If you don't see anything wrong with the Reed Dance then you must be crazy.

feminist papers aren't mainstream but you despise "follow follow." how hypocritical of you,
I bet you perform "virginity test" on your daughters as well.

notice how the african males LOVE the reed dance. and the females on here are all against it (with the inclusion of a few considerate males), tseww Africa and our ever backward mentality,
Your stupidity on show again. so the white males don't like nude women! No wonder the Sun is the largest selling British newspaper in spite of having little or no real news.

Oyinbo don save your parents from their former hardship so you have to drink piss if oyinbo tells you to drink piss. . . it is all part of the forward (NOT) mentality that you have been given

Your stupidity on display again! So I must read feminist newspapers in order not to be follow follow like you? What exactly has my daughter's virginity got to do with this? Or maybe your lifestyle is filling you with feelings of insecurity.

All the years you have been trying hard with your daft father has not been enough to make you slightly more intelligent. That same jungle is where your daft father is from. You should ask him how you got where you are
Who determines what tradition is foolish? and who made you God to tell anyone that their tradition is stupid and foolish? AND where did I advocate one thing or another? You are obviously to stupid to understand what you read. What you see wrong with anything is the generational craze that has been running in your family.
Dont make me tell everyone about your family or I'll expose your whole family here, including all the dodgy things your father used to do  lipsrsealed

Fist off, I am not as foolish and daft as your father. You should know that by now. Your lack of intelligence is all too obvious, probably passed to you by your daft father.

This is absolute nonsense written by an unenlightened person in an attempt to seriously denigrate the Nigerian male.

Poster, please go and join forum where Brazilians say what they like. Tne reason you're here is the love of Nigerians; it just means you are foolish if you love people with the attitude you described.

How far will you go in your attempt to destroy the image of the Nigerian man? Your heartache is just starting

FamilyRe: He Sent His Mum Packing by JustGood(m): 12:48pm On Sep 10, 2008
Maybe the boy feels the shame of everyone pointing at him and his mum. It's a shameful thing for anyone's mum to be accused of adultery. The boy should re-locate his mother afterall he cant have another mother so he should not just throw her onto the streets.

Maybe the man gave the house to him after having realised his wife's ways
