Louisiana Gay Dad Raises Child, But He's Powerless as Partner Skips Town With Boy
http://abcnews.go.com/Health/sex-families-risk-patchwork-state-parenting-laws/story?id=16788341

Imagine what kind of child will emerge from such a terrible environment.

The likes of Justwise want us to wait for another 20 years when products of this kind of environment are mostly dysfunctional and the twisted researchers now come up with research data that states something like this: "Children ideally should have a father and a mother and not a father and a father. Children from unions with two "fathers" have been found to be deficient in many areas of social interaction."
If you really believe that driving gay people into hiding will solve any problem at all then the joke is on you, if you don't want children to learn anything about gay relationship or see one on the street then lock up your kids, they should not leave the house, should not watch TV and should not log on to the internet.

Its your responsibility as a parent to educate your kids about morals, what is good and what is not. Even with Nigeria ant-gay attitude and law the number of gay people coming out has increased, they have being there for ages, at least as far back as 1990 as i can recall.

Its completely nonsense for people to invest energy chasing shadows in the name of fighting 'evil' when they are the evil one themselves.

By the way,you think I am afraid of being tagged Homophobic? You are just parroting what the people you blindly follow use to scare other people not to speak out against Homosexuality. Well, this person is not interested.

The facts are there for everyone to see. Once human beings decide to lower their moral standards, the consequences will be dire as we have seen with HIV/AIDS. Next is dysfunctional children who will grow into adults without a standard role construct or set.
And you post is from? You got your article from AVERT which a charity organisation based in the UK, its not Government institution, its jut a charity organisation.

everystep87: @VICJUSTICE, this mail is for you:

"Friend, you involved too many unnecessary documents, this alone shows how desperate you are with your lack of confidence.
You can't use a solicitor because you have absolutely no legal ground; a visa is a privilege, not a human rights,: even President Jonathan could be refused a visa.
The problem I see here is with your bank statements, you presented multiple accounts, and the total is N1.3 million, this reveals that you money is scattered all over the banks therefore, your account statements do not meet the required format or standard: this is the main reason that you can't get the visa; and no solicitor can assist you"

This was your reply to my mail some weeks back. Am happy to tell you that, i have been granted visa into the UK for 6months.I actually used a solicitor who drafted a letter to which i added to my application and re-apply for the 3rd time in 3months after 2 refusal.

You made mention that: "a visa is a privilege, not a human rights,: even President Jonathan could be refused a visa" I want tell you a visa is a right if you meet all their requirement. A president of a country can never be refused a visa if the political tie of the two countries are mutual. I wish we can debate this: "if visa is a right or privilege. To me it is a right only if you know your right. I just want to advice you that, stop being harsh on people when they seek for assistant through this medium. Just be polite and calm in your reply.

I still want to say, you are doing a great job, you just need a little customer service training in resolving people queries.

@Jidebobo, i want to thank you for telling me to reduce numbers of document submitted. I wish you all, great success in life endevours. UK: HERE I COME.
Visa is never a right, you do not have any right to be allowed into a foreign country, you could be refused a visa even after meeting all requirements.

Its a privilege and can be withdrawn at anytime.

philoe: Third of foreign student visas 'lack credibility', survey finds

A third of visas handed to overseas students should never have been issued with up to 70,000 foreign undergraduates applications "lacking credibility", a government survey has found.

A sixth of those applying as university undergraduates and two-thirds of those at private colleges were considered to have suspicious applications

An intention to remain in Britain, failure to speak any English and no desire to complete their degree were given as the top three reasons given to Home Office investigators.
Three out of five visas given to students from India and Nigeria were found to “lack credibility”, the study found.
The survey is part of a crackdown on student visas that have for many years been abused with paperwork being the sole criteria for applications rather than face-to-face interviews.

I don't know why nigerians are always singled out!
They did not single Nigerians out and there is a large element of truth in that survey, many Nigerians who abandoned their studies in the UK did not do it deliberately, they took a gamble of coming to the UK to study and work to pay fees and it turns out badly. While some got no interest in studying at all before living Nigeria.

Some came with the hope of receiving money from home but things changed and their sponsor could not keep up.

There is no surprised in the finding at all, its just a well known fact.

maclatunji: It is painfully obvious that if Homosexuality had not been embraced by the west, HIV/AIDS would be very rare till today, over 99% of the world wouldn't know about it talk less of being affected by it.

You can continue to delude yourselves with all your "fancy liberalism" but the truth is that the largest healthcare problem that the world faces today is attributable to this evil and immoral practice. What is bad is bad, it has no other name.

So you can be sure that for every dollar Google and companies like it give to HIV/AIDS research, they have given at least three to help spread HIV/AIDS with their misguided and plainly dumb campaigns to encourage and promote Homosexuality.
Anybody can come up with websites giving opposite view of this argument. Just as i have found a website that contradict the info you have above..

. . . . Quite simply, HIV was probably a mutation of an African monkeys virus. The presence of related retroviruses in African monkeys and apesand the close relationship of HIV to a Chimpanzee Immunodeficiency virus all suggest that Central Africa may have been the site of evolution of HIV.
Some people think that there are other possible origins of HIV. One of these is the suggestion that HIV was a deliberate or accidental productof biological warfare research. That's not possible, since the technology and the basic knowledge that would have been necessary to create such a virus had not been developed in 1975, when the epidemicbegan to grow. . . . .

How Did It Spread So Quickly?

We really don't know that either! However, a reasonable (but neither provable yet comforting) scenario is this:

HIV infection existed at low levels for a long period of time in small tribal communities in Africa. The pool of available, uninfected individuals in such a community is simply too small. In addition, especially in small communities, sexually transmitted diseases seldom become epidemic. Multiple sexual partners would not be accepted in such communities, so transmission would be limited.

Urbanization of this region of the world, particularly under British and French colonialism, brought young African males to the cities for education and to participate in the professions. The more relaxed morals of the urban setting bring the availability of multiple sexual partners and prostitution. In fact, prostitution was evidently created deliberately in certain circumstances to solve the problems of the separation of the urban professional men from their tribal families. Such events could furnish a a greater spread of HIV, enough to possibly create a 'base' of HIV positive individuals for future expansion.

Western approaches to health care in urban Africa, including the extensive use of blood transfusions for the treatment of Malaria and the frequent use and reuse of hypodermics for everything from immunizations and antibiotics to vitamin injections (a common practice in Central Africa) would contribute to the growth of this epidemic.

With urbanization came increased air travel and increased contact with other parts of the world and with other societies: government supported exchange programs in education, policy development, agriculture, and the arts; increasing economic and business ties; all possible conduits for an infective virus that is not visible in the early years after infection, although fully capable of being transmitted.. . . . .

The argument about the origin and the means through which HIV/AIDS spreads can go on for ages, my point is this. . . gay issue is the lease of our problems as country, there are more important, life threatening/security issues/ economy issues/ man-made issues that we should be focusing our energy and resources on.

All we do is chase shadows, barking on wrong tree just to cover our short comings in the areas that matters most.

maclatunji: ^Like any good HIV/AIDS campaigner will tell you, HIV is not transmitted through sex alone. However, it was homosexual men in the United States that served as incubators for the virus before it spread into the general population through other vices like drug abuse and indiscriminate sex.

Homosexual behaviour cannot be divorced from the emergence of HIV/AIDS. Trust me, worse things will follow if the likes of Google are successful with their immoral campaign.
Why do we have more HIV/AIDS carries in Africa than the US even with our ant-gay attitude and fewer gay community?

We know the ways of the West, everybody must follow its ideology even if it means destroying everything that is important to you including family values.
It does not affect everybody by any chance, making empty noise about it makes it popular, your teenage son could be molested by straight male or woman, like i said before. . . there are more important things people should be worried about than what two matured male adults get up to in their bedrooms.
By the way, I submitted online bank statements which were authenticated/stamped by the bank. That should be fine, right?
The student’s personal bank or building society statements must show:

• the student’s or their parents(s)/legal guardians name; and
• the account number; and
• the date of the statement; and
• the financial institution’s name and logo; and
• the amount of money available.

Ad hoc bank statements printed on the bank’s letterhead are admissible as evidence (this
excludes mini-statements from cash points).
If the student wishes to submit electronic bank statements from an online account
these must contain all of the details listed above. In addition, the student will need to
provide a supporting letter from his/her bank, on company headed paper, confirming the
authenticity of the statements provided.

Alternatively an electronic bank statement bearing the official stamp of the bank in
question will be accepted. This stamp must appear on every page of the statement.
We will not accept statements which show the balance in the account on a particular day
as these documents do not show that the applicant holds enough funds for the full period
needed.

Travel › Re: Important Changes To Australia Student Visa Requirements (2012) by justwise(mod): 10:10am On Jul 16, 2012
Mister NRC: If you’re thinking of applying for study in Australia, you need to be aware of some of the changes introduced by the Australian Government in 2012 that affect student visas and skilled migration. These changes follow the Knight Review(see below) — a report that aims to improve Australia’s policies regarding international students.

Earlier in the year, the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) made the following changes:

It announced plans to introduce a post-study work visa, which allows graduates of bachelor, masters and PhDs to work in Australia for up to four years after they graduate.
It allowed student visa applicants to submit results from the Test of English as a Foreign Language internet-based test (TOEFL iBT), the Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic and the Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) test. Previously, DIAC only accepted IELTS results.
It allowed prepaid homestay fees to be included in the financial requirements assessment.
It extended the period of time that PhD students can stay in Australia while their research work is being marked.
It reduced the financial requirements for Assessment Level 3 and 4 student visa applicants — they will need up to approximately AUD$36,000 less in the bank when applying for a visa.
It discontinued the pre-visa assessment (PVA) policy for student visa applicants from Assessment Levels 3 and 4 who were enrolling in a bachelor degree or higher qualification.
It lowered the student visa assessment levels for applicants from some countries.
Other changes will affect the following:

Visa costs
A non-refundable visa application charge of AUD$535 now applies to most visa applications (previously AUD$565). Fees do not apply to students sponsored under Commonwealth-approved programs, secondary school exchange students or students affected by the closure of their education provider.

Visa cancellation
The government plans to abolish the policy that sees student visas automatically cancelled for unsatisfactory attendance, unsatisfactory progress and working in excess of the hours allowed. Although students will still risk visa cancellation over these breaches, each student's case will be assessed by DIAC on an individual basis. In line with the Knight Review, this will ensure a fairer process for students who breach visa conditions.

Visa processing for higher education students
Student visa applicants who lodge their applications with a Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE) from a participating university in Australia at bachelor, masters or doctoral degree level will be assessed as though they are a lower migration risk (similar to the current Assessment Level 1), regardless of their country of origin.

Permission to work
Students who were granted a student visa on or after 26 April 2008 have automatic work rights — included in the $535 visa application charge. If, however, you were granted a student visa before this date and wish to apply for work rights, this will attract a fee of $75.

Employment restrictions
Before March 2012, international students were able to work up to a maximum of 20 hours per week. This has been changed to a more flexible 40 hours per fortnight, meaning you can work 15 hours one week and 25 hours the following week, rather than strictly 20 hours per week. Students can begin work once they have commenced a course of study, and limits only apply when their course is in session (students may work unlimited hours during semester breaks). Work limits do not apply to students completing a masters or doctoral degree. See Flexible working conditions for more information.

Skilled migration visas
As part of DIAC’s reforms to the skilled migration program, three new points-tested skilled migration visa subclasses have been introduced: subclass 189 (skilled independent), subclass 190 (skilled nominated) and subclass 489 (skilled regional — provisional). These three subclasses consolidate the six existing skilled migration visa subclasses — 175, 176, 475, 885, 886 and 487. The location requirements for the above subclasses have been removed, meaning that applicants may be inside or outside of Australia at the time of application. The requirement of recent Australian study or work experience has also been removed, but this still remains a part of the points test. Applicants must complete an online Expression of Interest through DIAC’s new SkillSelect online service (see below).

Skilled migration process
DIAC has introduced an online service called SkillSelect, which enables skilled workers interested in migrating to Australia to lodge an Expression of Interest (EOI). Once their application is lodged (including their skills and attributes ranked against the points test), intending migrants may be nominated for a skilled visa by Australian employers or government departments, or may be invited to lodge a visa application. Once an invitation is made, you must provide evidence that the information supplied is correct. This service has been designed to address skills shortages and will allow applicants to indicate whether they would like to work in regional areas, where some occupations are experiencing significant shortages. See the SkillSelect website(below) for more information.

E.g Waec Certificate (Photocopy).

Just to add, Justwise u have been a source of inspiration to many, may God enlargen your coast.
I do understand your point, but its the school decision to chose what to include among the documents you submitted, its not your position to ask them not to include it after they might have given you admission based on those documents, that will send a wrong message to them. They will only listen to that request if your explanation is genuine enough.
