Shameless, fake job after fake job advert, always looking for every possible ways to rip-off their fellow country men and women |
This 'renowned brand' got no address, using yahoo email address? Only God knows why some of you carrying out this job scam are so wicked. |
guddylover: help me tell Mr 'IF'Don't mind him, anytime a topic like this comes up, you hear people like him going about if this, if that, if our Govt did this and that, when will those 'ifs' disappear? Naira was better than dollars in 1908 bla bla bla, so what? What is the value of naira to dollar now? That is what matters. |
Going through the whole posts it just occurred to me that in 1979, the exchange rate of the naira to the pound was £1= 0.60k, a dollar was far less, the canadian dollar was no where to be found, our economy was on top, we had potentials of aligning ourselves a par with theses countries, people didn't need piles and loads of documentation to travel abroad, so many fortunate people whose parents left for canada left because U.I and IFE, didn't admit them, so many lecturers were sent on sabbatical because they needed to exchange, and further more develop their intellectual base, now our governments over time and the years, have failed us, to the point that we have to apply for 1-3years to be given skilled "mai nene" visa, some come and brag about it, where as they have contributed in any bit or manner, to the development of nigeria, they want to come back and become ministers and D.G because they have gone to acquire foreign certifications some even praise those countries because they have light and water as if we can't do the same if just if, we had the right people in place, the descendants of Prof magnous kpako the formal S.A to the president of nigeria on poverty eradication was collecting millions and billions for pilot projects which never brought direct development, rather "keke Napep", where other countries where bring in toyota motors to assemble cars, that are economically viable, they designed un-implementable models for the nigerian state, only to come here collect all our moneys (salaries and allowances) to pay their mortgages outside nigeria and their school fees debts, some lie to themselves that foreign countries are better then nigeria because of ephemeral issues which could have been solved if the leaders even gave a direction of where they want nigeria to go, we all want the best for ourselves but are these conditions where racism exist directly or indirectly the best for us? The question is where and what did we do wrong? What did yours and my fathers do wrong that has made us reach this level were we que to get out of nigeria? What are we still doing wrong? @factbox a lot of what you have said is true and a lot of people wouldn't still accept those facts because the sun is fortunately shining on their side of the world, but for more emphasis though a lot of us wouldn't accept no matter what, could you plz give us a list of some of the bills being paid and taxes? Plz maybe they would understand better.
That is alot of 'ifs', you are still in wishy washy nightmare, while you wait for factbox to send you the list of bills she pays in Canada, start making a list of bills you pay in Nigeria and the benefit you get out of it. Tell us how good Nigeria Security is, tell us how much you trust the police officers and how good roads, drinking water, power supply, education are in Nigeria. Stop living in 1979, come of it and tell us how things are now |
Wasbayd: Princeonx's comment Isn't funny, is it? The person's just requesting for all infos he needs from filling the non immigrnt form to ticket booking, though with a less appropriate grammatical construction. If you don't see the funny side then the joke is on you. |
BoboYekini: See how folks are making mouth, feeling superior 'i am a canadian permanent resident, PR e.t.c.'. Instead of being ashamed of yourselves. I dont blame una, i blame GEJ.Why should they? They should be proud of themselves because its not easy to get that. |
factbox: Hynmmmmmmm! after reading all the correspondent posts so far, here is my advice for all our youth back home, before i write anything i will like to aknowledge some ppl dat will get back @ me for posting dis simple truth. buh d truth still needs to be told anyways, There is no where like home HONESTLY! here i am in Hamilton Ontario Canada, i am a student here and i have couple of naija folks here too ranging from young to adults.Lower your expectation, the facilities you are enjoying in Canada was paid for by somebody and its only fair you pay your fair share. Can you tell me what Nigerian Govt does with the tax you pay in Nigeria? If Canada is hell as you are screaming you can take the next available flight back to Nigeria, you will not be stopped by Canadian authority. |
maninmood: Justwise, I got confused, supposedly, based on one simple thing- my University transcripts has my middle name abbreviated, for instance Samuel John Ogaba, was written as Samuel J. Ogaba. Is this a problem? If yes, is it compulsory I get a notarized affidavit for it? Otherwise, can I point it out in the additional information space on the visa form? If compulsory, must I get it at any high court in Nigeria? Thanks for your immense support. That is not a problem. |
kunlewoye: This may sound a little simple but how do you get your documents ready? Any format of arrangement? There is no format of arrangement, just cross-check to make sure that you have all the documents before going to the VFS,use paper clipper to hold your documents. |
NuNu08: @justwise.......i mean am applyin 4 a visit visa....i ave a store which has been registered,,an Acc wiff a bal of 2+million,,& mai cousin iss sendin me an invitation letter!! §ø what oda document dooo i gt 4 mysef..........oda pple opinion mattersIs your cousin going to accommodate you? Are you paying tax from your business? Apart from the business account do you have savings account or other account that is not linked to your business? |
anishe: Pregnant for just a boy friend? I dont understand. NO DOWRY whatsoever. O ma se o. Dont know you are that cheap! If the guy dumps you tomorrow, dont blame him. You've sold yourself so cheap.Go and ask Rev Chris Okotie if dowry save his marriage, if two responsible adults want to bring up a child without getting married so be it. |
Each time you post you come up with another warble, Romanian, Lithuanians and Poland does not need a visa to come to the Uk, so obviously there will be far more Romanians Lithuanians, and Polish in the UK than Nigerians since those 3 countries joined the EU. You don't need anybody to tell you that Since you are struggling to come up with anything meaningful go and read up on those facts and prove me wrong. |
salsera: Actually justwise he can book appointment to submit his application at VFS in Lagos. It will save him being on the queue at the VFS centre.A lot of people i know did not book appointment, rather they got there early and was attended to. Yes its important you get your documents ready before going there, that will save you alot of trouble when you get there. |
In the whole of Britain figure by 2001 shows that there are 320,767 Pakistanis in the UK http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/shared/spl/hi/uk/05/born_abroad/countries/html/pakistan.stm Compared to 88,105 Nigerians.http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/shared/spl/hi/uk/05/born_abroad/countries/html/nigeria.stm In London alone there are 78,000 Chinese nationals, http://www.bbc.co.uk/london/content/articles/2005/05/27/chinese_london_feature.shtml In 2007, Indian population in London alone is approximately 491,300 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indian_community_of_London So how come there are more Nigerian criminals in the UK prison even with lesser population compared to other countries? |
Its actually funny how you managed to make fool of yourself without knowing it. Now tell me this. . .how many Nigerians are living in the UK compared to China, India, Pakistanis, Somalia, Romanians etc? How come there are more Nigerians in the prison in the Uk compared to other countries with higher population in the UK? There are more Nigerians in the UK than Irish, Poland, China, Pakistan, Romanian? |
It will be interesting to see how he will manage to leave the UK for Ecuador. |
Litmus: Lol and you live on planet justwise, east of kumasi market,As you are here deceiving yourself trying to deny the obvious thousands of Nigerians are languishing in prisons around the world, some in death-row, saying that Nigerians are tagged bad abroad is an understatement, its a known fact by any right thinking human being. |
Litmus: and you keep on fooling yourselfYou obviously living in cloud-cuckoo land, to denied the fact that Nigerians and their crime rate abroad is giving every Nigerians a bad name is just a bad joke. Yes white are afraid of Nigerians because of their dubious behavior. To trust a Nigerian anywhere you need to know him or her personally else. . . . . |
Litmus: Nigerians are tagged bad probably out of fear of Nigerians. Nigerians are feared because, they are black and because they are progressive. Anyone who seriously believes that Nigerians have a predisposition towards crime is ignorant. Before Nigerians came along, African Americans were tagged bad and predisposed towards crime. The western media always demonizes any set of black people who look as if they may buck the comfortable notion that black people are timid, dumb and servile. You are living in denial. |
Cavenchy: Really? Most peeps say its about 45 mins.. School says its 1hr tops by train. 3-4hours is from Hearthrow Airport London. If your school is picking you up by bus then its about 2-3hrs but by train its about 45mins. Schools normally pick up group of foreign students with school bus. |
Cavenchy: Manchester International AirportOk,that will be about 3hrs journey to Huddersfield |
Cavenchy: Thanks bro, wish u God's favour with yours. Its University of Huddersfield. Its located between Manchester and Leeds. Will your school pick you up from Leeds/Bradford airport or Leeds train-station? |
jay bee: I hope you know/agree that the benefits of attending a top uni are not restricted to the certificates one gets outta it.I never denied that, it also get you the 'connections' to be able to jump the 'queue' as well. |
Dollben: Me and my mate lived in the UK for 3 years (Schooling and Working) before we got back to Nigeria....Now my mate called me this morning that he's confused about travelling to the UK for an official course because before we left he took the whole money in his accounts plus the banks over draft and credit that was giving to him...He also collected some phones from different networks which he is suppose to be servicing but he never did..and it has been like 2 years now...SO house he's asking me what is the worst that can happen to him? if they will nap him or what?Confused about what? What a criminal, let him start counting the interest that credit card has accumulated since that 2yrs, the phone company will still charge him monthly bills whether he uses those minutes or not. He should get the money ready and pay up the moment he gets to the UK. |
qk: Hello, I applied for a UK student visa and used my sister's bank statement which fully covers all the needed expenses for tuition and maintenance(with a cover letter from her) but even if I've made a partial payment, I just got denied on the ground that my sister isn't my parent or legal guardian (this is the first time I'm hearing this). Is there something special to be done when one uses a sponsor? I've been given a right to request for administrative review. Please I need some advice on what to do next. What should I go for? I need some help now.Your sister can not sponsor you, only your mum and daddy can. Its not a new law, its being a place for more than 2yrs now. You should have paid that money into your account or into your mum or daddy account before applying. |
jay bee: It's an elite world at the end of the day. If we can't join them cos it's too late or for any other reasons then surely we owe it to our current/future offspring to provide them with all the necessary ammo so they can reach greater heights we've only managed to dream off. queensmith: and this is it, this is the fact of life. We are all skewed towards a tradition and lifestyle that benefits the upper classes. And I agree with you 100% we shouldn't have to base decisions and choices on the 'big boys' and what they are doing. Its not about reaching greater height, its reaching greater heights with substance, to bee able to think outside the box, not posh-school graduate bimbo. If i have a child, i will definitely give him or her the opportunity to grow up the know the 'price of milk', not just attending the best school but to be the best in his or her chosen field. I don't care if his school is ranked 200 but to show that his qualification is worth the paper its written on. |
jay bee: It's not unusual to get screened out when applying for employment at the first hurdle just because one didn't graduate from a redbrick university. It's all about giving yourself a chance queensmith: . . . . . it's sensitive, I understand that. But does having one not put you at a certain advantage? It certainly does, i can't dismiss that, the school you attended can get you to interview stage or even get you a good job because even the employer might have attended one of redbrick universities, some of these posh-boys are just shallow-minded and can't survive outside their comfort zones. They got no idea how it works in a real world. Just look at the banks full of posh-boys, making decisions that screws everyone of us, look at Govt front bench full of posh-boys coming up with blunder after blunder. |
