Keep it up.

Like i said it will be an unforeseen pestilence but until then see you on other threads.
Bloody muppet, you have been told how to leave. . . . delete your posts and stop logging on!!!, its that simple.

Why are you still hanging around exposing your 'privacy' to hackers and terrorist?

lalaosky: hey low life if u cant grasp what i said then shut tha mess up...are u this daft or something...i've got nothing against gays as long as they keep it far away from our borders!!...this country being a religious society dont condone such...malacatunji hv evn given u the repercussions that it has brought and u r still spewing trash...fool
Hypocrites of the highest order!! Religious society? Where Reverend fathers abuse young boys? Where pastors sleep with church members in the name of deliverance? Which bible are you fools reading? Bible by Christ Okotie who just divorce his second wife even as bible frowns against divorce?

The same Nigerian society that produces people like Dr Albert Odulele who is serving jail sentence in the UK now for sexually abusing young boys?

Another product of your religious society is Lucy Adeniji, a church pastor serving 11yrs in prison for trafficking children into the UK for use as domestic "slaves" at her home in Barking, east London.

They only got exposed because they are not living in a 'religious society' where all sins committed by pastors are covered.

skyone: This was how Gadaffi was laughing for 40 odd years before he's misterious death. Am sure your brain is constantly telling you.... "we are untouchable" but trust me the pestilence will be unforeseen. In case you are not Seun, have it in your brain that you've foolishly contributed to the downfall of Nairaland due to your abject stupidity.

Your mentality is absurd, when you are giving a food to eat you behave like a mad goat with no string on his neck. Common sense is far behind you. Perhaps you later know the truth after many post/complain yet the foolishness in you is predominantly stopping you from acting like a reasonable person.
Are you still here?

Won't he think 'why doesn't she stay when her uncles back form holiday'?? I really want to avoid a refusal I want to get all my plans in place now, thanks
You don't have to stay with your uncle, you are an adult and can make alternative accommodation arrangement for yourself.

Please answer the ques about the savings n salary accts. If your mum gives you some money and you pay it into your salary account then you need to explain when it came from.
Hello Nairalnders, because of this thresd I had to sign up to nairaland smiley
Vicjustice and justwise your really doing a good job God bless you.
I have an issue I started reading this thread after I had already applied for visa without much knowledge and infomation. I was denied today, though the denial hurt I knew it was my fault the Eco said I didn't provide any other documentation apart from the I'd card of my uncle( who I said I would be staying with) and also I didn't provide the financial statement of my spononrs earnings ( I said my uncle will part_sponspor me) the statement of account he gave me was his savings account with a bal of N350k not his salary account.
My passport is a virgin passport I applied as a family visitor to visit my uncle.

I want to reapply in sept and with ur help and Gods grace I belive I'll get it. The questions I want to ask are:
1) I want to apply as a tourist/ general visitor now, cos my uncle won't be around @ dat time. Is it ok?
2) This time around I will sponspor myself and will have a bal of N350k in my acct is that ok?
3) Insteadd of staying with my unlce as against my last application I will book an hotel for 1 week and stay with a friend who is a student for the other week, but in my application I want to write just one week.
4) How would I explain to the Eco in the additional information part that my condition has changed cos I will save up for the sept trip and sponspr myself fully.
5) Is it necessary I pay for the hotel online? As I would prefer to book and pay when I get there, would that reduce my chances of getting the visa?
Iam a banker currently earning N120k per month
Lastly its imp I go this year b4 dec cos my friend that I want to see would leave England by Dec and I would really love to see her she's the reason I rushed to get the visa in the 1st place.

All your help/ comments/ suggestions as to additional docs to get will be taking very seriously. As I do not want to be refused again.

Thanks as I expect a reply
Build your savings first, ticket alone will take that money, you need to have some money left at home while you are in the UK spending all your savings. Since you are sponsoring yourself you need to book for hotel accommodation and at the moment that £350k will not be enough.
why is he complaining? is he having hard time to understand that this is a public forum and everyone can see what he typed?
That is my prob with all of them moaning about their privacy and security, they willingly dropped their email addresses and numbers for their own business purposes and they have being doing this for more than 6yrs now, suddenly they realized its public forum and start talking-down on the website. Why not quietly modify your posts and leave the way you came un-announced?

Peterson1993: Na me tire pass oo. Sometimes some nairlanders irritate me. They busy making hell of noise, while the Seun dude is in the bank right now counting the $dollars he made last night from this website. Every busy minded human would always find his way to make his own dollars rather than just sit and look for ways to condemn another person's work. From the way they act, you should be surprise at all because I think they are still 13 years old teenagers still using their father pc
One of them i know here is even a visa agent who has being using this website for ages, after dropping his numbers and email address for his 'clients' willingly he is now moaning about privacy and all sorts of nonsense.

alafin: Justwise, please kindly explain to the masses and be truthful about it. Why is it so difficult to set up a deactivation button? If you need help in doing that i can help you.

Secondly why are you so ready to die for Seun on this matter? even if it's loyalty as believed or the money involved at least allow people to deactivate their account as they pleases. Common, think and put things in order.
Where did some of you get the idea that Mods are being paid here? I stick my neck in what i believe in.

At the moment the deactivation button is not available in NL, we all know that and he has made his complain, why is he and few little brats winging on? Why not allow Seun to consider the request and get back to them?

Then what is all these nonsense about Hackers, Terrorist and pedophiles being members of nl and his security?

alafin: Just about to go Wuse then i saw the above? Wait a minute so think true, true this website can not be closed down due to your own stupidity for not seeing the light in this matter, trust me it will only take a google official to discover your insanity and how you lock people up without allow them leave then you are doomed by destroying what Seun himself has building up for years.

You no they think at all?
What loads of garbage. Google, FBI my backside.

Don't be silly, deactivating an account does not mean that nobody will see your previous post again. The only way to get rid of your posts is to delete them.

onatisi: justwise i can see u are a moderator here and surely it is not for free , good that is ok , but if u really have the interest of this site at heart i dont think abusing a member is the best way to show ur love for seun or nl the best which is expected of a good experienced moderator will be to as much as possible calm skyone and tell him that you are looking into his matter that he should give u more time to look into his case i know seun is reading all this posts,
i have said it this site is losing focus most of the post they put on front page goes a long way in telling the caliber of ppl seun has hired as moderators.

You don't know jack, just give yourself a break.

This website has about 7m members when i joined 3yrs ago, now its more than 9m and counting, not every website grows at that rate. If two out of 9m + are not happy then. . . .

philipin7: Thanks justwise, but i will be staying with my husband during the visit and he will state this in the invitation letter, do i still need to make hotel reservation. Do i need to do travelling booking arrangement (i was told this does not involve actual payment of flight ticket, just shows the arrangement you have made for travelling).

Thanks
If you will be staying with him then no need to book hotel accommodation, booking for light is not a must.
