Being civil and polite is becoming rare and its so difficult to get anywhere smashing things about.
There is no hiding place for uncivilized characters. They will always exhibit it.

Drama queen, why are still here ranting? People can make their request with some sort of maturity and they will be listened but when some rude swearing parrot start ranting like an uncivilized street thug you basically allow them to rant-on!!

Seun is kind enough to listen to you, left for me i will ignore you and listen to people with reasonable suggestions.

Even if he wants to consider the issue of account deactivation, the way you have been going about it is just silly.

What sort of holiday is that? Staying 6months even on one trip is madness, next time you apply for visa you will have to explain what you were doing in the UK for that long. The obvious guess is that you are probably working illegally or engaged in some dodgy business during that time.

However when you say if the father cooperates you mean if he signs the Birth certificate or if he chooses to marry her?
Mostly.

dancewith: If the dad refuses to sign up, the child can only be British by an act of court compelling a DNA evidence to prove paternity. It is unlikely you will get a stay from the Home Office if he refuses to cooperate. If he does cooperate, you will likely get settlement under the right to family life, whether or not he marries you. Also under the Zambrano case, you are unlikely to be deported if you are the child's primary carer and the child gets British citizenship.

Hope this helps
Spot on dancewith, i have an ex-course mate who had a baby with a Jamaican who is also a British passport holder, they never married but lived together before the guy became physically abusive to her, she moved out with the baby, she got her stay 2yrs ago through her baby but the baby's father cop orated but my friend is practically the sole carer of the baby. She was on student visa then.

Mister NRC: @justwise: one mans meat is another's poison.
luizworld: @justwise.. very smart move indeed. The UK will be history in no time as International students will prefer Canada and Australia to study and work after their studies. grin
UK will change their mind after this admission season, they will relax some of those rules again by the time the affect start biting the universities.

AjanleKoko: The irony about cleaning jobs in Nigeria is: The cleaners get paid peanuts, but the companies that do get the cleaning contracts get paid very well.
Likewise private security. It's not unusual to have a security guard earning between N5k and N10k a month, but the company is probably charging the corporate client between N50k and N75k a month per guard.

I'm sure some 'under the table' jobs in the UK would prolly be like that.

Yes if you are an illegal immigrant or working with wrong visa type.

That is only for student visa.

You can make hotel reservation without paying but you will be asked to enter your card details, you will only pay when you get to the hotel.

A non-multinational company can not sponsor you.

I'm not going to repeat myself, unfortunately. You can re-read my posts if you don't understand. Stick with your point of view, if it works for you.

This clearly outlines the bad attitude and laziness of Nigerian youth.
Given a choice many Nigerian graduates will not go for NYSC as its at the moment.

AjanleKoko: Thank you very much.
So you know that it is your responsibility to look for a job. Why then did you say what you said before, below?

Nigerian government at least gives you a guarantee of a job for 1 year, during NYSC. They pay you themselves, and you most likely get paid also by the establishment where you are posted to serve. As much as we condemn and criticize them, they at least still do that for Nigerian students. So they still get small pass mark from me. What use is a visa to stay in the UK when you can't find a job?

Anyway, no issues, your efforts to defend the position of UK-based Nigerian students are appreciated. My point is . . . people need to dwell a lot more on decisions they are taking. There's no emotions involved in this thing. Whether you are in Nigeria, the UK, or Indonesia, man must survive. To survive you need to open your eyes and ears very well, and not succumb to crowd mentality. Nigerian youth are very guilty of operating based on crowd mentality, and they're paying the price for this everyday.
What job? What pay? That cheap labour?

In my previous argument with you on this same topic you tagged every foreign degree unless unless its a medical one, now your shift is focused on Engineer? Can you see the problem i have with your views?
Travel › Re: Are Nigerian Student Visa Applications To UK Mostly Bogus? by justwise(mod): 1:37pm On Jul 19, 2012
AjanleKoko: Bros, you are really falling my hand with your very elementary comments.
First of all, who said Nigerians are not trooping to those countries? I have a subordinate who studied engineering in Germany. Another lady I know is doing her PhD in Norway. Nigerians are going all the way to Malaysia to study. There are tons of people where I work, who went to a variety of places to study, from Ghana to Indonesia. They came back to work in Nigeria.

So that is why everybody in Nigeria should study 'Management'?
So who will do the work when everybody is 'managing'? That's not a good defense, i expect you to come up with something better than that. I just told you companies are shipping in Indians, Chinese, Filipinos, etc, to work on construction sites. Even Nigerian companies, not foreigners. My good friend owns a construction company, and he's employing engineers from China to supervise his projects!

And Bill Gates, he studied management? Or Steve Jobs? Or Michael Dell, or Larry Ellison? Even the founders of Google and Yahoo are physics PhD dropouts. Man me, you dey fall my hand seriously. I'm telling you why young graduates are not getting jobs, and you're talking about Google and Apple. Okay, they should go and work in Google and Apple then. They must be recruiting a lot of 'management' grads.
You are just going on/off points, i just can't believe that some of the things that comes from you are real.

Apple, Google and other big companies are doing well because of good management, that was my point!! i never suggested that everybody should study management, i made that point because of your argument that studying management is useless.

You can not compare number of Nigerian students studying in UK,US or Canada to those studying in Germany or Norway.

Look at US, UK and Canadian student thread here and judge for yourself.

Your argument about construction companies and the Chinese, Indians being shipped in to work in that sector is just laughable, they are employing foreigner because maybe they don't have faith with local graduates and not everybody will study Engineer, in all those construction companies they have good managers with degrees or Msc qualifications who manages the running of the company, so you don't have a point at all.

Okay, now you've really confused me here. What is the UK giving foreign graduates? Is it not visa to stay and look for job? Are they also giving jobs?
Is the UK government giving jobs to foreign graduates? I don't know what you're trying to say here. Nigerian graduates certainly do not need a visa to look for job in Nigeria.
No foreign Govt promises you a job, they give you the opportunity to work after graduation and the visa, its your responsibility to go search for job. You paid for studies and they deliver that, whatever comes after that is a bonus, foreign Govts are not employment agencies, if your own home Govt can not give you a job, why do you expect a foreign Govt to do so?
