Reggie2: Americans woke up one morning to find their accumulated treasures disappear and they called it economic melt down! Soon people from that part of the world will be seeking safe heaven elsewhere. The only difference is that they will do it with impunity and arrogance just as history foretells. It was high time someone told that kobo junkie woman some home truths.
First, it is very un-african to mock and laugh at someone in distress. If she had some sense and come from the yoruba extraction, she should know. Second, Africans speak in proverbs and parables. She did neither, she only mocked and then asked people to go back to school for English classes. When it comes to bigotry, she is a local champion typing all sorts of trash. As for those justifying the humour in her stupidity, we cannot change our being Africans, and humanity has a long history of migration that cannot stop because some junkie so wishes. Worry about Italian and African economy and let America sort themselves out, i don't know how this thread has become about American economy. |

kabba7: Am surprised Nigerians are lamenting on this piece. I actually made effort through NL of the situation in Libya and the fact that I was connected to how the process went ie. Sharing forms . I warned that most of the illegal migrants are from south south and south east some in the military many are artisans many of the female are into dirty side, my personal disappointment is that in Nigeria we don't open our “third“ eyes and ears for information. majority of the male that went to Libya went through agents in Kaduna,Zaria,Kano,Dutse,Sokoto,BirninKebbi Lagos and Lokoja, only very few went from Abuja,SE&SS states. One information Igbos in particular and Southerners in genera l{most are males } should look out for is when the US military finally move out of Iraq { soon likely } they could be in dangers worse than that of Libya they are many there most are artisans and into chuachua if anyone has anybody there alert them ! and they should network themselves better. NairaLanders are again free to pour abuses but when the “come come to become“ please. don't lament over 70% went on free ticket no Visa no passport the locals are still US jackboot. But when they leave ground no go level. kabba7: I can see my last post has been deleted well this was the kind of response when I tried to warn those victims of Libya crises. I can assure you all what I wrote is credible. |

JaaizTech: Some of these conspiracies are not so difficult to figure out, if only we open our eyes and clear our minds from bias. We see pictures of thousands protesting against Ghaddaffi on TV, and we assume that must be the whole country. Those who show us the pictures are those with their own hidden agenda, they show what supports their cause. How could Ghadaffi have lasted so long despite NATO's bombs if didn't have a sizable support of Libyans The western media in order to cover up this angle claimed that Ghaddaffi hired black African immigrants / mercenaries to fight for him, and now Black Africans are the targets of the NTC. Listen to the tales of Nigerians that lived in Libya before the war, and it would be quite clear how Libya citizens enjoyed a good life, how working as a maid could be quite rewarding, and yet the media keeps telling us how Ghaddaffi suppressed his people, and mismananaged their resources, how the people are suffering and have suddenly revolted. Towards the end of the war, we saw that Ghadaffi actually had the support of some clans / tribes, infact towards the end of the siege the war against ghaddaffi took a tribal nature; open your eyes, NATO is dropping bombs on Libyans and priding itself for having zero casuality. That really shows what they care about Those who loved Ghadaffi and supported him, are they lesser Libyans Did you read anywhere i denied that Gaddafi had some support? Yes his home town and his close officials supported him but that wasn't my point, my point was that his people fought him, i'm not into baseless conspiracy theories. |

thoth: Libyans never fought against Ghadaffi, they surpported him till they were overwhelmed. I was posted in Libya in 1998 and again in 2002 and both assigments gave me first hand experience of the Libyan administration. After a miscalculation which led to the arrest of i and 4 of my mates we finally came face to face with saif al islam himself and i will never forget the impression i got of him that night. So Libyans did not fight Gaddafi? Who did? Please keep away your story about meeting Saif and all that because there is no way i can verify that. |

mulumele: Because his people are intolerant of injustice. If Nigerian leaders were half as good; people will not be thinking of revolution now. I'm happy that they summon the courage to even start the revolution, whatever happens now Libyans are better of without that evil man. It may take time but they will definitely recover from 41yrs of torture and killings they went through under Gaddafi. |

thoth: After all this many Nigerians still believed Ghadaffi was a bad leader,if only they had known what he has fought against for more than 40 years. While Ghadaffi was there those brutes wouldn't dare touch a black guy unlawfully. They all pray in the mosque together,go to same schools, bathhouse and resturants together, the bigots among can only dream.
Why did his people fought against him from the beginning if he was that good? |

Nwaka77: Precisely! I believe that as Africans, we will eventually learn the hard way. It is obvious we did not learn anything from slavery and colonization and that saddens me. I laugh at those Africans who sit there in western societies thinking they are safe. As soon as things get worse than they already are and believe me they will, black people in these societies will know that khaki no be leather. They think that they will get justice when the white locals kill them or someone they know. However, there will come a time when no justice will be served. Many Africans/blacks don't know to what extent white people can go when they desperately want you out of their country. They start with verbal harrassment like we see that biatch in the tram doing. Slowly, it will graduate to physical abuse such as getting beat up, spat upon, etc. Finally, it will graduate to killing. We Africans fail to understand that you cannot force yourself on your host country even if you were born there. White people know exactly how to frustrate black people through institutionalized rascism. With that in place, you can work all you want but you will be frustrated at every turn trying to make it to the top. It is a different type of slavery if you ask me. Look at all the beautiful pictures here in the travel section of African cities. How many locals (Africans themselves) are enjoying all these beautiful places? It is white people again, those pink leeches I see enjoying all these beautiful places despite the fact that they are in Africa, on our turf though they don't really care about or like us. It saddens me. Anyway, God is watching and as for our leaders, they will eventually reap what they have sowed. White people are snakes under green grass and should never be trusted. I wonder when our leaders will wake up and realize that. When are you moving back to Nigeria? |

If you have taken English language test then put the score in the space provided on the form. Your school should tell you if u need to take an English language test. |
