the point is every school has their rules of releasing CAS to students. Some do interviews, some share questionnaires, some check if you have past refusals. So you can't dictate to a school how they should issue CAS or follow same process UKvi use in issuing visa. That is the point I am making

Thought you can switch once you have completed your academics and gotten a job offer from a sponsored employer.

E.g, Student A completed studies etc in September and can now work full time till visa expires in January, however he landed an HCA job willing to sponsor and is way cheaper for a family of 4 than PSW, won't this be possible?

Tell that person to graduate first and use PSW to apply. You can't switch even before you graduate

it is!!!! You don't work for the schools, so you should not say what they can do and what they can't. Let me give you another fine example you can work with. You having visa refusal in other countries doesn't stop UKvi from giving you your student visa, but there are some schools that has refused to sponsor students or issue them CAS cos they have gotten visa refusals. So DO NOT say it isn't true except you are very sure of the fact or you work for the school

She is repping the school here in Nigeria (I don't know the school in question and I am not saying she is right) but what I am just saying is there should be at least 1transaction in that account within that 28days. Let her do one transaction today and print tomorrow. That should fly

because there is no proof that the account isn't a dormant account. If she is printing 28days with no transaction in it, how will they know that she can access the money when needed? Well this is what the school I applied to have been doing. They adviced applicant to make transaction a day before printing their statement or at at least once to show the account is functioning. Those that didn't adhere, were not issued CAS by the school until they did the needful. I hope my contribution helps

The rep is simply trying to tie every loose ends. They get £1000 for any successful applicant that gets his or her visa and enrol accordingly.

Not having much transactions on the duration of POF may signal that it is built a statement of account purposely meant to satisfy 28 days requirement.

The good thing is that UKVI adheres strictly to Immigration Law and rarely exercise discretion when the conditions of the law is met. If it were US or Canada, that POF won't fly.

My advice is to explain to the rep that you would like to try but she may be reluctant to help you get another CAS if rejected. Since you applied through the rep, stick with her instructions cuz if anything goes wrong, school won't refund your tuition deposit

Please everyone, it’s URGENT. My friend just printed her statement now, to collect CAS. She sent the statement to her agent assigned by the university, the agent rejected the statement on the basis that she didn’t do enough transaction on the account, and told her to count the pof again till September 30th, and reprint. I do not understand, because transactions are not a requirement to getting visa, so why would it be an issue in receiving CAS? She’s distraught right now, and not even listening to me. She said the regional manager for Nigeria will also not accept it, since the agent is from the school directly. I don’t know what to say, any advice for her?

Please I learnt that immigration officers are intimidating and coercing travellers at MMA airport to settle them or risk being delayed until they miss their flight.

One needs to know how to tackle this wickedness. A guy I knew missed his flight cuz of this corrupt officers last week

My school accepted a letter from my employer stating that I use English on a daily basis at work so my CAS stated that Higher Education Institution has conducted its own English assessment.

Some people say it is better to apply from uk. Since it is an online application i feel she can open laptop and apply here. Using her profile.

So can someone clarify this “apply from uk” thing. Abi do they check IP address?
