You are over 40 years old and i believe you should be wiser to know that you don't fully depend on the advise you seek from social media platforms. Refuse to be a victim of the system. You and your wife have come into a system and you need to be strong to pull through the system. Yourself and 3 members of your family must have sacrificed at least £10K to come on this Tier 2 with renewal fees coming up soon and i believe this should be your focus at the moment not you leaving home. The tier 2 system is not an easy one. You both literally work for the system for the said 5 years with huge financial sacrifice. Your MRS is probably tired from work as a nurse and needs your support but unfortunately maybe you are adding your drama as the Baale of Norwich as per your previous post. You probably are not looking to develop yourself either. Additionally, you might no longer appear attractive to your wife, you need to look to improve in all ways and set the example. Many things might be involved for her to lose interest in you. Talk things with her and you would find an answer. Legal fees don't come cheap. I would advise you don't even think of that route.

working on that bro. And for the record I am not the cause of the issue. I think she has being planning this since.

she has refuse to put my name on the rent and refuse me to be paying any bills on our names.

all I do is to send money to her acc despite me telling her that I have read it here that if we need to renew our visa we need to let the 2 names reflect on the bills

I believe she might have friends that are teaching her.

But which ever way, I am prepare to use immigration lawyer to help me look into my odds and favours.

Look after your mental health, don’t let this drain you and affect your job. Speak to people you trust and don’t bottle things as we Africans usually do.

Settle in your new place and maintain a healthy relationship with your kids, if with time things works out between you and your wife good , if not then it’s what it’s . Life goes on.

Bro you know that it doesn’t always work that way, sometimes the solution is to walk away and still raise the kids together without living together.

Marriage is not do or die affair, if you have tried all you can and it’s not working please walk away amicably for your own sanity.

This is not your fault, there is nothing you can do about it, they may call back or make their decision without another interview

Not sure discretionary leave would be granted for a child that's not British or has spent more than 7 years in this country.

If your case is with HomeOffice you are considered a legal resident until your case is decided and you are asked to leave the country.

I don't think he will allow his visa to expire carelessly without exploring other legal means.

Again as long as he is not a danger to the wife, those kids or the country..his chances of remaining in this country remains high..

Oh ok good!, make sure you see your kids, make an arrangement to see them if she refuses to allow you see them then go to the council they will step-in to sort out a peaceful solution. Hopefully it will not get to that, you moving out may calm things down and both of you will have a rethink and sort things out

Homeoffice will not separate you from your kids, before the visa expires write HomeOffice to explain your situation. They deal with it on case by case basis.

Stay strong, you will be fine.

Bro keep your head down and avoid confrontation by all means, no verbal or physical abuse and deal with the issue as peaceful as you can.

Move out if you try all you can and she insisted but make an arrangement to be seeing your kids(if kids are involved.

Don't worry about deportation or anything like that because it will be difficult to get that done.

Like i said avoid any form of abuse or physical harm.

No it will not be seized..well on the UK side but i'm not sure how Nigeria immigration will behave. Though you will be asked questions but clearly the money is for your fees/maintenance in the UK

Age shouldn't be an issue but if he has some gaps between work or graduation then he needs to address those idle period.

People go for two yrs mainly because it gives you longer stay in the UK, you will be given 18months visa and enjoy two summer holidays

If you want to get ILR through the long route then 2yrs masters helps you to build up more yrs, two yrs masters also come with work placement though that work placement program doesn't favour everyone...you hardly get a placement in the area you studied..

Please permit me to ask another question. At the point of paying IHS surcharge fees for a child dependant i am asked to "add main persons visa expiry date". The main applicant and the whole family is applying together so there is no visa yet to quote an expiry date. Please how do go about this.

Just a quick but urgent question please.

While trying to fill a dependants IHS application who recently returned from the UK the cost showed $0 and a IHS reference number was issued! Is this normal because i am aware paying IHS surcharge is a must? Please bear in mind that we had said "No" to staying in isle of man, Jersey or Guernsey questions. Will appreciate response from @justwise and every other wise person in the house. Many thanks.
