Please I will need your advice guys, I have IJMB O Level English in replace for Waec O level English deficiency which I used to gain admission for my University. Am planning a master degree program in Canada I will like to know if it will be possible to get admission with the O level combinations for my Masters program or if there is any program to take at first in Canada. I mean like a pre degree that will help in replace for the O level. Lastly if there is, which schools are opened for this.

I will need your sincere advice as have reached out to some agent some said it’s possible while some also said not possible

Note I read from page 1 of this thread (Part 5). Recent and helpful. Interestingly, I had already made our visa application in June before discovering this thread but not without several research on how to proceed.

Nothing rivals this though. It is one-stop-shop.

Back to my application. So, I am reading through the 200+ page on July 2 only to realize I did not fully grasp the 28day requirement. I mistook application date for biometrics submission date. PANIC!! My 28th day was 4 days short.

Luckily, biometrics was scheduled for the 9th of July, so I had a leeway for a refund from TLS (5 working days before appointment). Had TB test done on the 7th.

Cancelled application and appointment. Made a new application selecting July 13th as new date for biometrics.

Family of 5 visa issued.

MY TWO CENTS:
1. Read, research. It will help with your future study too. This thread would probably be 200 pages if we are calm and read through. Yes, it can be nerve wrecking, but believe in your ability to do it.
2. You do not need an agent, especially paid ones. A good number get you into trouble. A colleague used one that did not declare past visa refusals and visit to Kuwait. She was found out and denied (A visitor visa)
3. Do not rush your application. Check and re-check. Well, this may be easier said because I still forgot to declare my US visitor refusal for the year 2000. Guessing they let it slide because I had declared in previous applications, it was more than 10 years and I had a number of US renewals after that.
4. UK is expensive with everchanging rules. If you do not have the funds to cover your 1-year tuition at least, please defer. Relaying solely on ‘hustle’ for both tuition and maintenance may not work as envisaged. Friends will shock you. You fail on payments; the school will report you because they value their license more. This was a 2-year journey for me.
5. Our circumstances differ. As much as there is a general point-based rule, you may need to provide additional (useful) support for your application. That is why the section for additional information was not taken out and the upload site has a category termed ‘others’.
- I am 43. Last degree 21 years ago (B.Sc. Psychology). 21 years in banking (E-business). Applied for a 2-year program unrelated to
Banking or Business with 16 and 15-year-old sons (dependents) in tow.
- Australian cultural visa refusal in 2019
- I explained my gap years. Explained plans for my 2 children’s university education. I also got letters from the organizations I had
worked with to explain my program choice. No, I was not called for credibility interview.
- Please do not mention or upload what is not useful. Stay within your CAS requirements, POF and SELT (if required)

6. Proof of funds statement
a. A lien shows a variance between total funds and available funds. Do not print
b. PND shows no variance. However, the Home office can provide your consent forms to request if there is any form of restriction on the account. Some banks oblige that information. Have it in mind that see adverts on POF.
c. I used an account where I did not transact at all and it did not count against me. A joint account with my spouse we have run since 2008.
Just thought to share and hope it helps someone else here in a similar bucket.

I've no access to d document (phone number and email) but at the end of the application my passport was returned without refusal letter and d agent said he didn't receive any email from UKVI, that he has sent them a mail and that they didn't reply he till now, and I'm about to process another application tru my brother which they will ask me to fill d reason for my refusal. Hello my people, pls i need to know if it's possible to switch course within the same higher education provider that issued me CAS.
I applied for MSc cyber security (a course I reallyyyy wanted to pursue) and got a conditional offer but the fear of raising any inquisition about academic/work progression in my visa application made me refrain from pursuing it (also cause it was highlighted on my GCMS note as reason for my canada study refusal so I didn't want to risk it or make the same mistake with UKVI). I settled for Msc Forensic Accounting cause my undergraduate and Professional degree is in Accounting.
Now that I have my Visa, is there any chance of me switching to this course without any consequence. Or I should just jejely face front with my Msc Forensic Accounting??.��

Sometimes, I believe that we as Nigerians fail to effectively comprehend. There's something called a "disclaimer" or "conflict of interest". Fairheart has stated on numerous occasions that if you reach out to him personally, he charges a fee, but if you state your issue(s) on the forum, he can help to the best of his ability. If you don't want to be charged a fee, then post your issues on the forum and let everyone try and help. You can only label him dubious if he swindled folks, especially under false pretext. But I haven't seen or heard of any of such to think that.

Read his chats back he even mentioned it that he charge people and he didn’t hide it. There are evidence and screenshots to that as he can’t deny that facts! I just pity those defending him as they belonged to the same categories .
I can share the number of that person he charged (50,000 naira for mock interviews and editing transcript) to you if you can chat with the person privately and ask yourself and if not TRUE you can suspend and banned my account. Fairheart has been charging people for long under the false pretenses of helping them which is bad as that’s the notion I have raised against him him that is ALL.

Please is it possible my father and his wife (not my biological mother) be my sponsor? And what would they need to provide in terms of documents? I know I'd show my birth certificate which carries both my father and mother's name. But the birth certificate doesn't have my father's wife' name on it.

i did biometrics on the 21st of June.
Got an email on the 2nd of July for additional document for my dependent and I sent it that same day.
5th of July, I got not straightforward email
14th of July I got another not straightforward email.
After 20 working days on Monday, I sent a paid mail to UKVI and I was told my application was last updated on the 14th of July and I should wait for 15 working days.
I can’t explain how I feel.

Good evening fam. I am a staunch reader of this thread and i have benefited from the information so far. I will need advice from gurus in house.
I am awaiting CAS from UoB. as part of there requirement, i am to submit my TB test, Data page of passport and PoF. I am want to apply with my family. so my PoF should cover the three of us. because of the schools deadlines, i had to do with the Funds with me which covers my Tuition and maintenance only last week without wife and kid maintenance. By next week i will receive additional fund for their PoF. My question now is this:
1. My PoF will be 28 day on 12th and i intend to print on the 13th of august (to have access to CAS), is it advicesable to receive their fund in my acct. then wait till around 24th august to print POF for visa application
2. If yes to above what will be a convincing explanation for this fund and wont it raise alarm or affect my visa application?
2. If no then Is it possible to use Wife account plus mine as PoF owing to the fact that the 28 day maturity will not be the same (wife 28day maturity date will be 24th august and mine 13 august)
3.Pls what do you advice gurus inhouse
