I have gone through the issue on thread 17. Similar name does not mean it's the same person. One needs strong evidence.
What if the persons are different? What does that make you?

Is the account where you are to pay the Naira the same as the one in thread 17? You can compare notes with the person.

I really find the part of holding onto the funds that doesn't belong to you very wrong when you have established that it cannot be returned.

Two wrongs don't make a right. There is a proper way to handle things like these.

We have police and EFCC to handle issues such as this, you and the person involved in thread 17 can contact them, you already have an account number that connects him. Trust me those agencies will fish him out. I have seen them do it severally they are very capable.

You are not the law or authority to yourself. Do the right thing.

I am being profiled as a self-funding student and have been given June 6 as deadline to fulfill this requirement before CAS would be issued.

I am worried because I remember clicking funding and uploading the summary of the CSC form I filled. I can’t self fund anything ooo!! Haba! ain’t they suppose to consider the funding option I choosed?

Also the English requirement on their website under other options stated B3 in English and a letter from the institution I attended stating that I was taught in English——- I submitted this. So why am I being asked to write IELTS again bikonu? Ejor eshanu mi. �

The school offer installment payment for a period of 7moths, starting from October (will need to pay £1.6k every 1st week of the month). Read this on the school website.

You need far more than 6K as maintenance money to get a visa, please read breakdown post by mimilyrics in the first page of this thread.

Yes you can travel with 6K for a start.

The instalment plan with the school is good but for you to meet that payment plan you have to be earning at least £2400 a month....that is after taking away £1.600 you will have money left for rent, bills and feeding.

Now the question is..can you earn that much a month? Yes you can if you are doing 60hrs a week(including overtime) and earning at least £10 per hour.

So you should be looking for jobs like security, warehouse etc,..jobs that will give you more hours of work.

My wife is applying to a university in uk for masters in public health(she graduated with bsc in microbiology), and I will be her dependent.

Her school fee is £16.5k, and we already have £5k as a deposit,

my question is that is it possible for me as the dependent to work and make money to be able to offset her remaining school fee which is about £11k within the period of her studies??

In addition, the house rent and other expenses will be catered by me because she’s expecting to deliver off her baby by November and as a result might hinder her from hustling for the 20hrs weekly work.

You have to contact the university directly, don’t just believe what someone else told you. Unless the refusal was as a result of fraudulent visa application.

Don’t pay to any account that does not match his name on the passport. He also need to send you his Canadian residency details that matches his name on the passport .

He has no power or influence on your visa application or the school.

Pay him immediately he supplies those details.

Keep your school informed about potential fraud involving that payment.

You may send a letter to the school addressing them about the situation genuinely, and telling them that you will repay as soon as the money is charged back.

That way, the school will not be too suspicious of any unexpected action.

I recently got my visa 27th of last month, so the following day I funding another saving acct of mine with 4m so I could apply for my wife, today makes it 28days,

What I want to find out is that, will this raise a red flag, hope they won't suspect I am using the same money I used for myself for my wife.

Pls note that I still have 7.8m in my zenith acct that I used in getting my visa aside the 4m in my other acct that I wanna use for my wife.

I wanted to knw if I should submit both bank statement or I should submit jst d one of 4m.

First of all I would avoid London. Staying 2yrs in London and paying nearly half of my salary for rent and another fraction for bills, with no assistance, largely kept me out of this group for months. I lived from shift to shift and nearly got my back broken, only to get home to be reminded that food stuffs is running out, and cable was giving a resuscription warning. I couldn't cope for long. Despite sticking to Amazon prime, and using only charity shop, the permutations did not balance.

I got a job up North without discussing this prior and informed my family that they could stay back if they wanted. Obviously they ran along. I still pay these things but its a fraction of what I earn, so I don't mind at all. All my expenses is not up to the rent I paid in London despite increased wages

The Midlands would be a place to look at, places like Stoke on Trent, Sherwood forest, Black country, Lincoln etc are all cheap but run down areas compared to the big 4, there is also a flux of Nigerians there, with Nigerian pastors opening ministries too. Pay 10% of your income to these dudes is at your discretion, I guess most are hustlers on suits. On the borders of Manchester but still in the Midland is chesterfield a very nice place too.

If you move toward Manchester avoid the city centre. Areas like Boston, Preston, the Pennines etc, is like living in Mowe but claiming Lagos. These would probably be cheaper than living in Manchester.

The north of England have some very affordable places too. Ranging from places like Scunthorpe a near shot hole, to Bradford that is filled with Muslims and blacks, but are both affordable places to the very deprived Hull where Doctors are paid to train. Leeds, wakefield, Sheffield are all big cities from the Yorkshire point of view but are quite affordable. I would avoid York itself if it
you want to save money. While it's beautiful, and heavenly to live in, its cost of living is close to London in some ways. There are other largely rural areas in Yorkshire, people own 2-3 horses here, and a lot of farm lands, things are pretty cheap and organic.

You can live in Newcastle, Sunderland, middlesborough and it's surrounding areas with a fraction of your income. Those areas though cheap are quite cold and you cold end up being impregnated by your husband every year in a bid to cure cold, and end up with more child care bills.


I could write about Essex, but I found Chelmsford expensive but beautiful to stay in.

Lastly let the one true guide lead you to were you will find comfort and peace

But I would avoid London, Cambridge, oxford or the other big 4 as a rule of thumb
