Dazeey042: @Justwise please I will need your help with the bank statement for visa application
My firstfirstyear school fee is 11,500 and I'm paying half that's 5,750. And living expenses for Northampton is 9,207, please how much do I need for bank statement?
My agent said 9million and my budget was actually 8million. Please how much do you think should be in my account balance? Use https://www1.oanda.com/currency/converter/ to convert £5,750 + 9,20, the result is what you need to have in your account |

ifunanya84: Okay. Thank you. I will do that. You need to explain in detail why your husband will not be travelling with you people and present financial evidence..eg bank statement that will show enough money for the kids and your maintenance money. Don’t forget to mention that you have family in the UK that will help with the kids and settling down. Your husband may not be able to leave his job to travel to the UK with your people as he has to support you people financially from his salary etc. There are so many reasons why some couples couldn’t travel together, it all depends on individual situations and how you present your case. |

That is even better, you need to explain those arraignments in your visa application and back it up with the financial evidence to pay for it |

Yemolu: I am only relating what I read from people on previous thread about their experiences regarding this matter and possible solutions that worked for them..
Like I said when I get to that bridge I will cross it. Luckily my hubby may change his mind and just decide to tag along. I have never read that here before, only if you are referring to a couple who are separated, but happily married couple, living together don’t decide to go for sole custody of their kids. |

Yemolu: I am in this situation myself and I remember I read somewhere on this thread that consent letter will not suffice . So the option available in such situation is to apply for Sole custody order from the court, this has to be signed and accepted by their Dad.. So my plan now is to apply first, when i have my stamped passport, I will take care of that hurdle. This is not a good idea and not a solution |

ifunanya84: Good Day Good people. Please I need help. I got an admission in De Montfort University UK and my two minors are going with me. My hubby doesn't want to go. Please how can I go bout it. I heard consent letter is not enough. Please who has been in this suitability before?. My Agent is telling me that they will reject the kids visa application. Please someone should help. Have you made an arrangement for their school and care in the Uk? Consent letter is likely to work with adequate arrangement. |

Islamiat01: Good evening Nairalanders, please I need some clarifications concerning my husband visa application. We got married after I applied for my student visa as single which was Dec 30th and I got my visa Jan 11. Now, the agent told us we have to wait till our marriage is 6months which will be around June before my husband could apply for dependent visa. Pls I want to know if that is true. I await your responses. Thanks @justwise @mimilyrics and other people. That is not true. |

FieryJoe: Morning Peeps! @Justwise & others who have successfully secured their visa, kindly help check my account attached stmt particularly the Total debit vs. Total credit. Does total debit/credit matter even when you have the right total balance? Will it be an issue considering the fact that expected balance in account at submission is N19,500,000.
Please help as I do not want to make any stupid mistake. hope to submit in 2 days. Hope for your response I beg. As long as you have enough in you credit balance to meet the requirement that is what matters |

vaticanboy: Well-done guys. Please I need a prompt assistance from you guys. I got married to a Nigerian-Uk woman by 2018 . We have been afar from each other because she lives in the UK while i stay in Nigeria. We just agree to be together and I would like to travel to be with her. Please am confused about the whole picture or photos stuff . Especially we have not done church wedding, but court . And we have court pictures, a small indoor TM pictures, some casual pictures taken in the salon when she was making her hair and pictures during a church Thanksgiving service with her. Please are these picture evidence enough to convince the ECO? 1.Can you provide any means of communication between both of you from 2018 till 2020? 2. Is she working and earning at least £18600 a year ? Court marriage is fine, few pictures from the court marriage and some personal ones are just enough but they have to be important ones..picture of both of you and the registry signing the marriage certificate, group picture of family members at the wedding etc A copy of her boarding pass and ticket to Nigeria when she visited you, evidence of the money she sent you and other gift exchange throughout your relationship. Call logs, take a screenshot of it, even if you have lost your phone she will have a copy as well. |

toyclicks: @Justwise et al, Pls I need your advice. I am on a care assistant job and I have maximised the Easter break with many hours of work.
Now term time starts on Monday and I will be back to 20hrs/week
each shift is 11hrs.
If I take 2 shifts, It already takes me to 22hrs. Will this be overlooked by the home office during assessment for PGWP or what's your advice? That shouldn't be a prob, i think your earning sometimes could triggers attention from taxman. |
