Some organizations check university ranking trust me, Universities like University of Oxford and Cambridge like you rightly mentioned and some other A list universities like LSE, University of Leeds, University of Glasgow, University of Edinburgh, University of Birmingham, University of Sounthampton, University of Nottingham etc. Check their tuition fees and compare to the rest, there is a reason why theirs is way higher. I am not disputing the fact that exprience and skills are very important but having those alone might not suffice for some kind of jobs in the UK. I did my undergraduate in the UK so I know what I am talking about.

I do not think he needs a source to back this information up. You should try as much as possible learn new things. Take good counsel and listen or read intently. That's a cue he just dropped there.

Most people paint the "abroad" so beautifully that hides the reality of it.

As for me, I'd love to travel out some day, though have tried once and not approved, but I keep an open mind to information.

My friend in Turkey is planning to come back to Nigeria soon. Nothing dey for am for over 7 years in Turkey.

It's not always about traveling, what plans do you have when you do?

My cousin in Brazil has built an upstairs here in Nigeria from the proceeds of his business (yahoo) in Brazil but is cooling off in the Brazilian prison for drug trafficking as I'm typing this. I'm not for or against people's resolve or businesses but as a sane human, make good plans for yourself.

It's good to travel around the world because you will get to meet new people who'll connect you to your destination. But good planning is of importance.

Please I have an issue at hand, after my application and biometric, I was given a blank Passport, after mail and phone call to TSL I was given the attached negative response.

So I said I should throw it to the house perhaps I can receive the appropriate advice and way forward cos my mind is as blank as a whiteboard.

Good morning My People,

Please I want to make enquiry based on the courses I searched for and the Schools involved.

I checked for Advanced Chemical Engineering and noticed University of Hull, Tesside University and University of Bradford offer same.

I have interest in University of Hull and Tesside University due to their fees. Hull is about 9000 pounds , Tesside is about 13,000 for one year ,though my course is for 16 months, am not sure if there would be extra cost for the 4 months additional. University of Bradford is also about 21,000 pounds but I read somewhere on this nairaland about the School offering 5000 pounds discount.

Please my question is

1.Any idea about which of these Schools would be better for this course and the locations . What's the environment like as regards closeness to major cities.

2. Who has benefitted from the 5000 pounds discount from University of Bradford. Is it offered automatically or there are terms and conditions attached.

3. Any other School that can be suggested for this course(Advanced Chemical Engineering.

You are mature in your response and I like that.

I remember mentioning to justwise that I'm enlightened enough to know wrong from right. And before I am taking the process serious simply means my guarantor has already done a physical verification. And the whole process doesn't require me paying any money online.

The stage I have gotten to in the process so far, I haven't paid a dime. And I am in the final stage which only requires me to be in the UK for physical examination and the whole process is complete.

In a situation whereby the spouse is on a tier 4 VISA, should it still be spouse visa or applying for a tier 4 VISA as well.
