Lawyer = to suinghuh? Really what about arbitration/ appealing etc
what about a breach of contract against the hospital for an unsolicited adjustment forcing them to eitheh formally write the embassy on this matter or accepting this discount back which would automatically change the basis for denials.

Since u donno n u don’t want to hear from those who know khip misleading people and “suspecting innocent people”,whilst the real mecenaries hound their victims for cash...

That is obvious now.

Can you explain what is ignorant about sueing a consulate? You lot speak like you work with the VO's & at the consulate.if a government can be sued why cant the consulate be sued? Yes their visa can or might be a privilege but it doesn't make them immune to a lawsuit.
Its completely ignorant to think that you can sue the embassy because they denied you a visa, you don't have a right to be issued a visa, its not business transaction. Even if the embassy denied you a visa with no reason at all you still can not sue them.

You can appeal or complain about refusal but to think that you can sue them its ignorant and waste of time and money.

The same way no foreigner can sue Nigerian embassy anywhere in the world for visa refusal.

I know of people who decided to sue the US consulate in the last few months because of this issue and I'm speaking emphatically. I will only say what I know but I won't divulge more than that.

They were denied visas based on the same reasons of the bills too low, with discounts even as a self-pay patient, even though of course it's not stated on the pink letter. The visas that were now denied were working visas based on overseas transfers etc and that has led to lawsuits being filed.

You don't have to believe me, I'm just a spectator & I've said that my piece. No further comments.

Enjoy.
What is the outcome of that lawsuit? Lawyers making a killing out of people's ignorant

you are a widow with 2kids, if the three of apply together it will show to the ECO you have no family ties in Nigeria. It’s best you apply alone first and use your kids as your family tie to Nigeria and later you can apply for your kids.
This is not true.

Good day all. @ Justwise and other.

.I am a widow with to 2kids, will like to go on vacation with my kids to UK .I am scared to state am a widow so it wont look like am running away . Am in my late 30's

Do i travel alone to show am coming back. I am gainfully employed with the federal government , I have all the document to prove i can support myself and the kids financially OR do i apply for the three of us.

please I need your advice .
Be honest, prepare and present good application, don't try and hide information or lie in application. You will be given a visa if you meet the requirements

I'll advise you to calm down and stop sounding desperate, as it would becloud your ability to make sound judgements.

If the November trip is that important, I'll suggest you quickly contact the hospital where you had your baby and request for the itemized bill. You can then request to pay the full value of the bill without the discount adjustments.

That way, you'll be paying the 100% hospital bill without any discounts or waivers earlier granted as a cash paying patient. The payment receipts can then be tendered at your next interview, and hopefully you'll be granted your visa. I know people who recently did this and have gotten their visas renewed. They paid between $7k to $14k in addition to their previous bills based on the revised unadjusted invoice, and they got their visas.

From recent reports I got from people who got their visas renewed/denied, the visa officers might not even tell you outrightly that they're denying you on the basis of a low hospital bill, to avoid lawsuits even though we know that's what they're doing.

You just can't keep doing the same thing (applying for the visa) without changing strategies and expecting a different result. You'll probably get denied, as they'll see you as desperate and will ask you what has changed between your last application and now.

Be very strategic about your next interview, so as not to ruin your future chances in the long run.

All the best...
What exactly are you on about? Lawsuit for what?

read where someone said immigration officers don’t allow pregnant women into the country or so,please I need positive suggestions
That is partly true, if you did not mention that pregnancy in your application and you turned up addressed suspiciously then you are likely to be sent back.

The weather in the U.K now is hot by the way.

Wear free gown like boubou dress,I think weather there now is in between not too cold just a little chilled. Then another thing is put fear aside their immigration do look at the face, being a first time travelling just be calm nd relax. Most an important thing is prayer cos when God favour someone there will be no delay for that fellow...God will favour you upon Ur journey in Jesus name ... Pls let ur dress should be dark colour. Its well with you nd ur princess. Enjoy ur journey...
You people are very good at abusing the name of God, you did tell her to be honest and do the right thing but it's all about deception and cap it with prayers.

God is not a man that we can fool.

Hello @justwise and other gurus in the house.
My fiance is a PhD student in UK, her current visa will run till May 2020.
My question is
1) what is the least time on her visa for me to apply as a dependent (husband)

2) She has option of applying for post doctoral experience which is 1 year visa. When is best for me to apply as spouse.
We intend to marry end of this year

I will appreciate a swift response from the house
I don't think there is a less time but i suggest you apply as soon as possible because they will issue you visa based on the number of time left on her visa.

After you got married you will still apply for dependant visa and not spouse visa

wintabotom:
For children to be eligible for a dependant visa, it is a requirement that both parents need to be in the UK or coming to the UK. There are few exceptions to this requirement. Families who cannot meet this requirement will need to evidence the 'serious and compelling' reasons why the child should be with you in the UK, or that you have 'sole responsibility' for the child, and that you have made suitable arrangements for the child's care. I noticed my comment was deleted... however this is my 2kobo if your wife wouldnt be going with you.. you can also do your research on what to say and how to prove why she isn't going with you.
Definitely not in this thread or section

UPDATED:
Justwise, funny enough I have just bothered to check the refusal letter after that your question grin. What I saw is “Justification for the purpose and conditions of the intended stay was not provided”. Do you think this might count against me with the Tier 4 application?

No it will not as long as you declare.

Yes you are advertising services and this has been going on for 6yrs, the same number by 4-5 different IDs. No responsible WAEC staff will give out her number to complete strangers to share online. This is why nothing is getting done without bribing them.

Oga Justwise, Dear all, three months ago I was denied Schengen visa to Spain. I had applied to attend a conference. I think the issue was with my documentation. Do you think this will affect my chance of getting a Tier 4 visa to the UK? I plan to use Priority Service. I’m just worried after I saw where it was stated somewhere that prior denial of a visa to some countries can cause delay on UK visa application decision. I’m applying next week. I really would appreciate any useful insight. Thanks
Was the document fraudulent?

That was what i thought till this evening when a friend of mine confirmed she experienced the same issue and wasn't allowed into Etihad flight from Lagos. I really appreciate your response
I'm not sure your friend knew what she is talking about, if your stopover is less then 24hrs and you are not leaving the airport into that country then you don't need a transit visa.

Pls house, a little clarification is needed. I was refused Canada Visa for misinterpretation. I have learnt my lesson the hard way never to use agents for application. How does this affect my application for a UK Visa. Though I declared I was refused Canada visa in my application.

Were you asked to give brief explanation for the refusal?

In other news, did I just read 13 million for a visa application? that is extortionate. the good thing is that it keeps you focused on squeezing every last benefit out of the system. Pele, you hear. it is well
