The only thing Op needs is his Papers...

If Op needs money, let Op start a fund raising campaign & send me the link...

I will personally donate $500 to kickstart the donation...
Yea i remembered the one you started trying to scam unsuspecting individuals using immigration but luckily your intended victims were smarter than you.

Ding, ding, ding. And we have a winner! Sometimes, simply saying your best option is to go home, as I said in my very first post on this thread may not resonate well. I have laid out the practical steps she will need to undertake to go down the path of staying and trying to legalize her stay based on the only available option today. Perhaps the reality may set in on seeing these drastic steps. Or perhaps maybe it's something the kids father and herself are willing to go through with. I will not present any opinions on the rationality of going through with this, I know not from whence they came. The game is afoot!
..and why should the option of giving up 2kids should be considered in the first place? Having a paper/passport does not mean that one will live happily ever and be successfully. You people post here as if having a foreign paper/passport is that big of an achievement, its bloody no big deal.

OP, I'm not trying to be nosy or all up in your business, only trying to give you practical advice to get you prepared for the path you have decided to tread. .....I asked this question in my last post on your thread but you did not respond. Where is the father of your kids? What is your current relationship with him? Married? Divorced? If so, do you have divorce paper work ? Your plan, as mentioned previously, is to explore the possibility of legalizing your stay in the short term. The only option as mentioned by many posters is through marriage to a U.S. citizen. Do not wait until the opportunity presents itself before you sort out these technicalities. It will only make it more difficult. Get your ducks in a row and hope/ work for the best. Get consent for the kids to be with you. If possible, get their father prepared to give them up to be adopted by a future spouse. You may be blessed with good fortune very quickly. I have seen it happen before! Be prepared to walk your chosen path.
Some Nigerians are something else honestly, who is that irresponsible/responsible father that will give up 2kids just for a foreign passport?

Why do we value material things far more than human dignity and decency?

But you don't live in Nigeria. What yardstick are you using to measure this?
I visit Nigeria yearly and i have many family members doing far better than me who are making a decent living in Nigeria, they travel out only for work and go back.

Millions of people are still living in Nigeria and thousands of foreigners are working and living there.

I left Nigeria as a grown up adult so don't tell me about Nigeria as if you are talking to a foreigner on picnic

Thanks guys. I think I'll just try and save up as much as I can for now. If within those periods I'm able to do my papers, fine and good. If not, I'll just move back to Nigeria.
Do that and transfer to your Nigeria account each time naira goes down, with money transfer agencies you can run your Nigerian account smoothly from anywhere in the world, within an hour or so the money is your account and it cost you close to nothing.

Good luck

Single mother with 2 kids and 3k USD under her name. She wouldn't qualify under any program to move to another develop country, talk less have the funds. Furthermore, these countries share information and her over-stay in the U.S would definitely be known. If she leaves America, she'll most likely never step foot in another developed nation again.

Okay lately, most schools started screening students credentials by asking for SOA and GTE Statement from students before giving them admission which wasnt the case some years back... I asked my agent for the reason for this and was told the embassy now urges unis to do a pre screening before giving admission to students , i 'guess' this was due to the increase in applications received at the DIBP with majority of them not meeting up with either the Financial or GTE requirements... so the DIBP wanted to be curb that and ensure most of the applications they are screening have passed through like a Pre assessment from the Universities before giving students admission to save them from having so many applications and denying most of them due to their not meeting the required criteria... Now this led to the stance of dropping the schools rating or sanctioning them if they have lots of students apply for VISA from that school and most of them dont meet up with the criteria, i think this has something to do with the L1, L2, L3 thing we see around... so most schools have buckled up with their admissions and rather give 5 students admission and be almost certain the whole 5 would get VISA grants rather than giving 15 students admission and just 5 pass the DIBP screening...

In all, neither myself or my agent work in the DIBP and all these informations could be just hear-says... so I'll advice people to either do their own findings or even just follow the normal protocols... nobody is an Island of knowledge, we can only share what we understand, its left for us to know what to do with the information...

Cheers!
That is all its because there is no evidence to back it up, schools verifying students is not new anymore as they want to make sure that they are admitting genuine students

Most of them are scared to give you admission cos the embassy charges them for refused applications or it affects their ratings. ..(something of sort sha, not sure).... so most schools always want to be on the safe side... so people have resorted to hiding that information from the school just to get admission... however DO NOT make that mistake with the embassy... they'll surely find out...

Above all.. my advice:
Be honest with the school and pray they give you admission then everything gets better from there...if you try two or three schools and they deny you admission, then you know what to do cheesy
Please where did you get that info from?

OK gurus, I think I have a massive problem on my hands, I need your help!

We were waiting for Hubby's 6th month payslip to start our application, he got it and we discovered that alongside pension plan, unpaid sick leave was deducted before gross, and this put us under by £40.

Also, the overtime he did that would have made up for it wasn't included

Please is there anyway around this at all rather than starting the count from the very beginning? cry
That is usually after gross pay, have your husband gotten a letter from his company for the visa application? Has he worked for a year in that company?

That was your undoing in your application, unexplained deposit without explanation or paper evidence will not be trusted.

Add paper evidence to demonstrate your payment arrangement

Hi Justwise,

I and my twin sister were born in the UK and lived there for the first eight years of our lives, we have lived in Nigeria ever since.

Fast forward over 20 years later I now run my own company, and pay myself a salary of 300K per month aside other weekly bonuses.

And would like to visit the UK for 6 days.

I would like to know how to prepare for my trip at least 6 months ahead of time.

At the moment I would like to know your thoughts on the best way to submit an almost foolproof application?
Start by stopping paying yourself a salary as it does not make sense in one man business, keeping saving your net profit and document your business dealings.

Don't get me wrong being a citizen give me numerous opportunities when it comes to get a job and pay the bills etc.... ( which is what 90% of people here do anyway. The system is set up that way . No escape from it ) .

America has its own realities and ramifications . You have to come , Feel it to truly understand . Forget about what people say and what you see on hollywood TV show..

The fact is , for the sake of showing that they have made it in life , many people in the diaspora don't tell the truth .
I am 36 . I spent 20 years here , study here . Have a great career . No complain on that front ...
I might not know it all , but I have seen it or experienced it .

1- here , You are strictly on your own . The system itself have no soul and only care about money .
Your family members have their own bills and wahala to worry about . This is how children here abandon their elderly parents in nursing home and move on with their own life.

2- here , nothing really belong to you . Whatever you think you have , you can lose it anytime.
30 years mortgage . You finish paying . The minute you owe property tax , The municipality will take that house from you and sell it.
Years ago I rented a room to a lady in her 70 who used to own 2 houses. Lost the first one through bankrupcy . Second one due to sickness and she couldn't pay .

If you have big ambitions , Africa is where the untapped opportunities are right now.
The way my brothers kill themselves here working 2 , 3 jobs just to survive and pay bills ,
If they could apply the same energy and a bit of creativity many would have been billionaire in Naija.

As for you friend who is saving $3500 a month , ask him to borrow you $1000 only for emergency. Or 100 even .
You will see his reaction and judge for yourself if he is truly saving that much. cheesy
I have being reading that line a lot online please can you explain those untapped opportunities?

How can I be an illegal immigrant in the US. I'm more informed than that, but if I find myself in such scenario, i have to forge ahead. You can't halt your journey to Canaan land after passing thru Jericho just because people in Canaan are giants, you have to fight to finish.

I can almost guarantee that she will commit suicide in the first month of her coming back to Nigeria, it is inevitable. Nigeria now is 100+ times more worse than 5 years ago, if she comes back, she would be banned & all her efforts will be wasted.

In case you don't know, Nigeria has been low key black listed from getting US Visas, even those who have travelled before are being refused if reasons are not concrete, only people who have solid reasons are given.

So you're the one ignorant here, with your supposed good energy.

If I were in the woman's shoes, I will not bring my kids back to Nigeria, l have seen so many people who came back to Nigeria after living in the western world and they find it difficult to sort out themselves in Nigeria.

I shared a story here few months ago about my cousin from my mother's side, he left Denmark after securing his citizenship and after living in Denmark for several years and he told me that he was home sick bla, bla bla, he called me in the West as well about his move, l warned him not to rush back to Nigeria, that he can visit, access the situation and gradually relocate if he wants to, he said to me and I quote, why is it that anything Nigeria doesn’t appeal to me again and I always kick against people going back to settle in Nigeria. ,

I told him I left Nigeria years ago and I do visit from time to time and I have not seen any changes but rather the country is getting worse, I told him of most of my classmates from the University who went back to Nigeria after their studies in the West and most of them are suffering and regretting there decisions today, I see them in Nigeria, they chat with me all the time and I see there lamentations.

He stopped contacting and he moved back to settle in Lagos, to cut a long story short, After about 9 months in Nigeria, he called me and was lamenting over the phone, all the cash he took to Nigeria gone, he couldn't get a job, the series of businesses he established all grounded, robbers attacked him in his house and he was lucky enough to have jumped over his fence and escaped,he finally sold his house around Maryland and he vowed to me over the phone that he is not coming back to Nigeria again and that he prefers to die and be buried in Denmark, as I post, he is back to Denmark shocked.

@Op, you must have sieve through all the advices on here, l don talk my own, you are free to disagree with my suggestions, I wish you good luck, over and out...

Hi guys

Here is my story....moved to the states four years ago together with my 2 kids. Still do not have my papers and it's getting frustrating. Thinking of moving back to nigeria but I think I could do with some advice right now as I don't want to make a rash decision.

Reasons I might want to stay back

My kids are in school (elementary) which of course is free
I have a job that I do under the table
My kids and I have access to good health care even though we don't have all the coverage......

Reasons I want to move back to Nigeria
My families are back home
Accommodation won't be an issue for me as I'll have access to one should I return
I kind of want the naija life and the freedom it brings with it.... And some other more reasons

Here lies my dilemma.
Will I be selfish to move back and not think of my kids having access to better life here
How am I sure I could secure a good paying job with all the sad stories I read daily here?
The life here is kind of lonely as its almost everybody stay your lane...

Pls your suggestions will be highly appreciated and pls also, no insult. Be polite with your replies
Thank you.
No it will be selfless and responsible as a mother to move back to Nigeria with those two young kids before you ruin their future.

Its just only 4yrs so the affect on them moving back to Nigeria is negligible but the longer you stay in US playing hide and seek with the system the difficult it becomes.

I can understand that you want the best for your kids by taking them to US but since it did not workout don't try to sneak in into another country to start afresh illegally all over again.

Save as much as you can and move back your kids will be fine and will have freedom and rest of mind.

At the age of 29 with two kids and a degree certificate you have a better future but not in US living illegally and wasting your years and certificate.

Hello All,
Pls I need urgent input on below matter;
If you are processing CAD Express Entry. Is there still need to go birth in the US?
Reason for my question is;
I am currently preggy. My hubby & I are processing Canada PR. Currently awaiting our PPR but I’m not sure we will get CoPR before my fit to fly expires. Was thinking of going to the US to birth my baby but hubby thinks there is no economic importance to it and it’s a waste of money & financial resources. His reason is because we (including our baby) will eventually relocate to Canada even if he’s born here(Nigeria).
What do u guys think?
Will I be wasting money birthing our baby in d US even when our Canada App is almost pulling through. Does children not born in CAD/USA have the same benefit as the ones born there?

Pls ignore my errors. I really do hope someone understands my drift n can provide necessary feedback ASAP.
@hotstepper
Your hubby is completely right, its a complete waste of money and time.
