kennethalice: Thanks @justwise Please is there need to fill out the section where they asked for the name of all my family members and also do I need to tell them I have seeked Asylum in another country or belong to a particular organisation . also do I tell them I have been married before ?
I need your honest answer please. Yes you have to complete the family section and give the names of all your family members as requested. If you are not asked about the asylum issue then you don't need to mention that, again if you are not asked about your previous marriage then you don't need to add that. |

lookee: Hello Justwise, I have been reading through the thread and I must appreciate your effort. I would like to ask what can an individual who has submitted an Admin review do after waiting for more than 28 days.
I applied in Lagos and still have not received any response even after waiting for 28 days. I need to know who to contact to find about what is their decision as the school has already contacted them severally. Contact the embassy |

How about asking that question here for people to help you?
I have edited your thread because I don't want you to attract dodgy visa agents here |

SimonPeters2020: Are you encouraging people to travel to Nigeria with an expired Nigerian passport just cos they have dual citizenship? That's not patriotic buddy. You have just given patriotism a new meaning. |
Travel › Re: Dual Nationality Nigeria/uk Passport? by justwise(mod): 9:16pm On Feb 21, 2016 |
londoner: Who said anything about bribery?
The OP needs to get a letter From the Nigerian high commission with permission to travel with the passport that has not been renewed.
Yes OP can travel with it but with express permission in the form of a letter (permission to travel) with the unrenewed passport. If it was okay for us to travel with a Nigerian passport outside of renewal why would anyone renew with all the stress and expense? Why would there be a stipulation to renew after 5 years on a ten year passport expiry date? He doesn't need any letter from anybody, read his case again because you are mixing up things. As a dual citizen he can travel with that expired Nigerian passport to Nigeria and leave with his British passport. At POE he will be advised to renew his Nigerian passport but will not be refused entry to Nigeria. Many have done it before and you can also read recent case here https://www.nairaland.com/2838980/update-traveling-expired-nigerian-passport/1 |
Travel › Re: Dual Nationality Nigeria/uk Passport? by justwise(mod): 4:54pm On Feb 21, 2016 |
worry359: OP claims dual citizenship and says that he has a valid UK / EU ? passport. That will allow him to book a flight and board the airplane. His home passport from Nigeria gives him the right to enter Nigeria and then get his PP renewed. He will need a valid Nigerian PP to leave. He doesn't need that. |
Travel › Re: Dual Nationality Nigeria/uk Passport? by justwise(mod): 1:53pm On Feb 21, 2016 |
londoner: If that were the case nobody would ever bother renewing their passport. An out of date passport is NOT valid to travel. My passport was also over 5 year mark and had to renew it before travelling last year.
It IS an issue. If your Nigerian passport is expired you can't travel with it unless you have a letter from Nigerian passport office in London EXPRESSLY giving you permission to travel to Nigeria with it BUT it will state that you have to renew the passport once in Nigeria. That is not entirely true. In the case of the OP he can travel to Nigeria with expired Nigerian passport. Yes he will be told to renew it at POE in Nigeria but will be allowed in even without bribing anybody. |

johnwick1: Hi everyone, My questiona are to apply for a residence 5yrs card as a family member of EEA; how long does residence card take to be out? do I have to stay put in UK throughout this period or I'm allowed to travel? Is it possible for me to travel out of UK even if my card is not out yet? Read BabyisUS's post because she just went through the process just few months ago. If you still have valid visa yes you can travel out of the U.K. While your application is being processed. |

Olusegun012345: Hi guy, I am a British citizen planning of bringing my family (wife and Kid) to the UK. But I am confused as to the right form they are going to use in applying. Is it spouse visa for my wife or I'm to use settlement visa for both of them. Thanks That is spouse visa and the application is made online, before you do that pay attention to the financial requirement since a child is involved here. |

Phoenix68: Hi. Quick question: I have dual citizenship, Nigerian/UK. EU passport is valid while Nigerian passport has crossed the 5 year mark. I usually travel to Nigeria with both. Do you think the not valid Nigerian passport will be a problem at UK airport on my way to Nigeria? Simple answer..No |

chookudi: So someone takes his time to explain what he understands about a situation...something you are apparently ignorant of and you call him useless? Pray tell, what criteria was used to assign you post of mod if you can insult people at will? You are calling him useless as you have failed to understand my post or deliberately trying to spin it. There is no relationship between the case at hand and his analysis, the individual concerned here has a visa already so I don't know how the issue of dependant comes into it Whether it took him years to come up with that analysis is immaterial. |

bellong: You actually did not understand the guy's explanation. In summary, what he is saying is that it is a possible identity fraud for visa.
It doesn't mean the guy's visa is fake though. I believe he intentionally mentioned 573 to keep you guys off. Yes I know that and I'm saying that it makes absolutely no sense trying to do that. Useless attempt like I said before. |

Smh chookudi: Useless fraud attempt analyst? What are you implying? That the fraud attempt is useless or the guy who took time to explain what he can decipher is useless? There is no ambiguity in my post up there. |

STAugustineOf13: Let me elaborate. He said 573A which we all know that its for Study, but he wants to use it to work. The only way that could happen is IF you're a dependent right?. Ok...heres my own summary. Someone maybe applying for 573A visa through an Agent & the agent might claim that the person has a dependant. And the, The agent might ask this guy in question to go an do international passport bearing so..so..so surename & if he can come up with it, they can run some Age declaration and attached it to the application without the primary applicant Knowing about the arrangement. or even if he knows, he might accept such thing becox this guy might be paying huge sum of money.
So...its like 50/50 with the applicant and the Agent. The way 573A could work as a work visa for 2years is what im tryin to make clear here. Otherwise its not possible
Check my profile Pix. Thats how Australia looks like. I have been in nairaland for more than 6 years and I must confess that this is one of the most useless fraud attempt analysis I have ever come across. Smh |

If you have a job or run your own business to justify the source of that money then apply for visa yourself and attend interview. |

STAugustineOf13: I was still modifying then. But I've seeing those that went to countries like Italy & Spain with a false name. They always call A Program named Brekete family to beg for a moderation either in Name or Age.
So...this my guy might be on that same boat. I might be wrong I still don't understand what you are on about, what has that got to do with the issue at hand? What do you mean by this in your previous post:? Someone might be in Aussie & maybe them Agents applied for a Dependent visa. If the real owner is renewing, of you knows the person. |
