About time too.

Her remark on homeless people and it being a lifestyle.choice sometimes as well as the incendiary commenta on the Armistice Day protest probably were the last straws.

On to the next Suella/Priti/Theresa.

But David Cameron is in though. Makes more sense.
She couldn't keep her opinion official, she said the quiet part out loud

It's perfectly in order. They are not against people who are in support or protesting for Palestinians, those views are welcomed.
But to back Hamas? No naa. If you want to support terrorism then go to where it is allowed.
Its not that simple, you can't support Palestinians without indirectly supporting Hamas, Hamas runs the whole show.

Well said. Rape is rape, there are no tiers to rape based on if the woman was drunk, "flirting", wearing a short skirt, or even if she had been kissing the man or had had relations with him previously.

If she said no at the time, or didn't/couldn't give consent, then it's rape. Regardless of her age.

And the reality is the law tends to come down more heavily on the side of a white woman against a black man/immigrant, so extra caution is key.

That is sad but you are absolutely right

true...and the victims there would be too scared to speak out because of the stigma and victim shaming.

Another rape case by another student, this one actually gloated about his actions:

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.walesonline.co.uk/news/wales-news/rape-woman-toilets-fiction-club-28038119.amp

I hope these individuals realise that they will be automatically deported as soon as they are released from prison.
Its important to take note of this section of the case and during the evening the defendant and a woman had been kissing. The woman, who was described as "heavily intoxicated", later went to the toilet and the defendant followed her. In the toilets Oriaku raped the woman in one of the cubicles.

The fact that they were kissing before she went to the toilet gave him the impression that the sex was consensual.

Sex with a girl while drunk is not considered a consensual act and this is something many new immigrants failed to take note of here.

You choose a SIPP broker, you manage this SIPP portfolio yourself, you buy, you sell, HMRC gives you 25% on top of each contribution you make......

SIPP account usually cost about £9.99 pcm & you cannot withdraw from your SIPP portfolio, until you attain the ripe age of 65......😜🤣🎂
I got it now. Thanks

My understanding of how switching works is that you have to register with the current supplier first (in this case BG) as a customer then inform the switching team of your preferred supplier that you want to switch to them. They will take care of the rest
Not really, you don't need to inform your current supplier, your new supplier will do everything but your current supplier is likely to contact you trying to offer you a better deal to stay.

I keep say neocolonialism isn't Africa's problem, we are just too wicked and shortsighted
Smh
Its not, its just an excuse for incompetency and corruption. I guess International aid workers know that ''Nigeria is poor because we are rich'' so they rather focus on countries with real need for help

I love video like this, giving to communities that changes lives. Southern and Eastern Africa receive more international aids than any other part of Africa. Those guys are doing something no Govt or religious origination are willing to do without collecting first from the poor.

Why did them jump Nigeria and went to Cameroon though?

Credit to them though, great job.

I m proposing a motion for debate.

Who do you think was right in the interview between Rufai Oseni and Onokpasa? There's room on the fence too if you want to sit. Just tell us why you think so.
Rufai obviously, Onokpasa could not handle facts. That is exactly how politicians need to be interviewed

You're talking of odd jobs that most UK citizens will refuse to do
.. that's like artisan jobs back home in Nigeria. If you expect a highly skilled person to be happy doing those unbefitting jobs, then you ain't wise.

The problem first with most of you is INFERIORITY COMPLEX.. you feel you're less important than the White skinned man, so you see nothing bad in putting your education aside to be serving them likes slaves in order to earn pounds.
Even when things were still good in the early 90s', not all Nigerians in the UK could get decent jobs talk more of now when there is Job scarcity everywhere. Go on Linkedin and see how oyibos package their CVs looking for jobs whereas some of you in Nigeria feel jobs are littered everywhere abroad waiting for you to come and pick up employment letter. Keep deceiving yourself and other naive ones like you.
This is an ignorant comment.

It's a 1 bedroom flat. I'm moving in today but have been advised to take the meter reading of the previous tenant and reach out to the energy supplier(EDF) to register my account.

Yes that is very very important so as to avoid paying for previous tenant's bill.

When you get the bill from EDF then you can compare that with Octopus.

Hello everyone, please I need your advise as this is my first time moving into an apartment that's not bills included.

Is EDF a good and affordable energy supplier?

Which is better... EDF or Octopus or OVo?

Pay as you go meter or postpaid meter?

Thank you.
How many bedrooms and how much is the bill?

Igbalode123:
Hello, good morning house.
I’ve been a constant follower of this thread and other uk related threads on this platform, had to register a new profile to post this.

Here’s my story, I met my legally married wife on twitter last year December and we both concluded to relocate to the uk with the agreement that I pay half of her fees amounting to £5k. She paid her deposit and in the short run both our visas was out in no time we were both happy and made other plans too.

Now in between all of this I couldn’t meet up with my own regarding her fees payment reason been that I’m a farmer and I crowdfund every season as I don’t necessarily use my personal funds to farm and it has always worked for me until this year and over 15m gone. I was in serious debt today soldier tomorrow police next time court. In all of this I had to sell off over 90% of my effects and assets to pay off about 80% of my debts.

My wife wasn’t having it and she wasn’t comfortable with all of it. One way or the other she took my passport and insisted until I pay her fees I can have it back, I wasn’t really bothered since I was going to pay one way or the other. At one time I offered 1m so I can help her pay the rest over there she objected, she said to make it 2m. When 2m was ready she insisted if I can get 2m then 3m shouldn’t be a problem. It’s been tough and crazy at the same time, Now she wants £3k and this Fx spike isn’t helping matters at all. When the 3m was ready the conversion to pounds didn’t equate £3k and she wouldn’t accept anything less than that because she has to pay another installment 15th of Nov.

Please I need serious financial support in however way anyone deem fit because the vignette on my passport expires 16th of November, I don’t want my efforts, time and resources go to waste just like that. This is the only opportunity for me right now to get back on my feet.

NB: Emphasis on ‘legally married’ because this is a public forum. This is just a brief overview, it’s been a very very long and messy situation and even though I don’t agree with a lot of things she did in all of this I couldn’t even still blame her because I ought to have fulfilled my own end of the bargain before now.
This is illegal and will not be discussed here. Your marriage is fake, arranged to circumvent the immigration system

This will not be encouraged here.
