So u recognize what insult is when u called someone a fraud?
Besides, are u threatening me with removal from this forum or what?
This guy u really need help
It's obvious that ur village people are against u
They don't want u to learn so as to help urself
So if someone is allowed to apply for a work permit, is he or she not allowed to work when he or she is being granted a work permit?
Is work permit meant to be received as an award without being allowed to work?
I thought u and ur mobil567 said going to Canada with tourist visa and trying to convert it to work is fraudulent?

Tell me where i mentioned that going to Canada with visiting visa and convert it to work permit is fraud.

Doesn't seem that way.

Seems like once the woman has kids, it's game over for the man.
It’s not always the case. To start with a woman can only clean up a man who has something to clean.

A man’s money before marriage and money he made after marriage are treated differently.

If you structure your finances carefully before getting marriage you will be in a better position if the marriage goes south.

I have a female friend who is going through divorce right now and the ex husband has taken her to the cleaners. She has to remortgage the house to give the husband share of the equity even as the man did not contribute a penny for the deposit. Kids are also involved in this marriage.

U would have humbly begged for someone to educate ur ignorance instead of following ur fellow ignorant that called himself Mobil567 abi mugu567 to start saying nonsense

This is a public policy that came into effect on August 24, 2020, and the eligibility criteria were expanded to allow all visitors who are in Canada with valid temporary resident status to apply inland for an employer-specific work permit, regardless of when they arrived in Canada. The public policy is being extended until February 28, 2025.

I really hate engaging people like you but I’m going to make an exception for you today . Next time you quote me and start with insults I will remove your post and suspend you from this section.

Feel free to debate if you can but do that without insults.

As educated as you claimed that link you provided did not state anywhere that visitors can work in Canada rather it states that visitors are allowed to apply for certain work permits that will enable them to work in Canada. Do you understand the difference?

Honestly this is the most stup!d remark had ever read. Canada legally allow visitors to work. Clearly stated that any work that a Canadian, a PR or students reject, a visitor is permitted to do it. And dats what Nigerians are looking up to do. How then do u see this wrong and laying courses on ur useless generation thinking u are talking to us. U must be born out of wedlock. Had met many people of ur kind. Ur mama na baby mama to a useless fool she dnt know so u don't think with ur head nd dnt have respect for people. You think everyone should end up in ur petty state of life. Take this ur comment to Canadian government and de will ask u who sent u bkus de is nothing illegal for a visitor to get a job in Canada. If u really have a touch of brain, at least LMIA is enough to make u know that this is legit. Why on earth are u so unrest?
Can anybody here paste a link here where this is stated in Canadian govt website.

prettyynx:
i beg to differ @justwise . it is in the Canadian website that a person with a visitors visa is able to apply for a work person through an approved LMIA company giving them a job offer.

if you are a visitor and you have the skills the company needs , you are free to apply for the job. Leave the rest to the company to determine if youre worth it ,

Canada that dropped that update knew that people would apply for such jobs under such circumstances . If not they would have stopped it .

Is it hard to get the job , Yes it is .

NOTE : people are going there to turn their LEGAL visitors visa to a LEGAL work permit . No one is going there to over stay their visa (6 months ) .And if they cant turn their LEGAL visitors visa to a LEGAL work permit, they have a return ticket back home .

Please tell me where the crime was committed here , or is it the intension that makes it a crime ?if it is , then the Canadian rule birthed the intension .

please note : this is just a discussion !
I'm not referring to those doing things legitimately, i thought you should know that.

And u re busy condemning those who go tru visiting visa to Canada but has failed woefully of condemning ur fraudulent government at home. If u re not part of the problem, u shd focus on ur matter and allow other people to do their things the way they want cos u don't have any realistic and tangible help to offer them apart from the so called advice that doesn't put Kobo in anyone's pocket. Besides, they re not applying for those visas with ur money. So I advice u to get busy with what concerns u and keep off from other people's busines. And pls be mindful of ur words wen u say that I encourage fraudulent activities so that u won't get urself in court for character defamation.
Thank u
You need to eat first before dreaming of court case.

You are part of the prob, you are not helping Nigerians rather making it difficult for Nigerians to get a visa by encouraging fraudulent activites.

What should one look out for when buying a new build?

Also, those houses close to the road, that the door is close to footpath, does passing cars really disturb? I'm looking at either that type or one at the end of a close. I feel the one at the end of a close will be too quiet because it's not facing any houses, just facing a field/park.

Finally why are rooms in new builds too small. Infact I see those 3 bedrooms houses as 2 and half bedrooms.
New build are overpriced and comes with structural problems sometimes, it takes 2-5yrs in most cases before you start seeing those structural issues and cost of repairs could be very high.

End of terrace house are good but watch out for council tax band as you could be paying higher than your next door neighbour

You seem to be looking at appreciation against Forex. Isolate property valuation from naira devaluation.

For instance, if a house was 1 million naira last year and this year it is 2 million naira, that is 100% appreciation. How much dollar was last year and this year is another story. Except such appreciation was as a result of currency devaluation in which case the appreciation is just an Illusion.
We can't run away from that as that is a key market factor, if i sent money home to invest i want the money back with a return. Not interested in leaving my money in my Nigerian bank account. Infact i have stopped funding my Nigerian bank account, i send money to family and relatives directly through the agent.

Tbh I do not fancy buying or building a house in Nigeria given a lot circumstances that includes but not limited to a particular government coming and demolishing the house without compensation and being scammed by this organisation that exist in Owerri OCDA and it's alike in other states.
The scam is not only in Owerri i think its all over Nigeria. I'm not interested in buying or budling a house for investment yet because of ROI when converted back to £.
I'm very much interested in buying a land when i see a genuine one

It depreciate in value as a result of constant naira depreciation.

Let me give an example with a piece of land I bought early this year. I sent home almost 10,000 USD for the transaction. If I'm to sale that land today and convert back the money to USD, I seriously doubt I will be able to get the same 10,000 USD I sent home for the purchase.

For me, that is a depreciation of my investment capital
I think buying a land is much better investment than building or buying already bult one

It does but the percentage depends on the location amongst other factors, one of my Dad propertise appreciated by 75% in the North over 18 years. My property appreciated by over 400% in 5years in Lagos.

Even with the tumbling niara?
