You should ask the immigrant VisaOfficer here on nairaland. There is a thread for that, maybe @justwise can help you with the link? She's super professional and nice, she should be able to help you.

ToyinNick:
@ All
Hello,
Please I am trying to sponsor my husband to the UK, just need to confirm what I need to gather
1. I was told that I need a 12 months payslip, is this true?
2. If my husband has got a business in Nigeria which he barely started 6 months ago, does he need to provide a tax clearance or I should not get it complicated by putting on the letter that he's got a business? He doesn't pay any tax, so I was wondering if I should risk it by putting on the letter that he's got a business, cos I don't want the situation that the people will be asking that since he's not working or something, he's being refused entry
3. Regarding the phone calls, I called lebara to try and get like around a year call history, when I went online, I was only able to print out 2months, is that sufficient or how can I print out a year call history?
4. Do you suggest I involve a lawyer to help me with the application?
5. What copy of passport do I need to provide, British or nigerian?
6. Lastly, the documents I have at the moment are, English test, Yellow fever and tuberculosis test (for my husband), but for me I have marriage cert, bank statement of 6 months, payslip of 6 months, letter of invitation, Passport photograph, wedding pictures and old days pictures, proof of address, proof of employment, tenancy agreement, council tax info
Is there any other information I need?

Please guys I need a honest suggestion and advise. Do feel free to ask me any question.
Thanks in advance
Toyin

Like seriously , break up with her? undecided

To me you never loved her, it was just infatuation because if you really did , this will not spoil it, come on who is without mistakes and faults tell me? Is there not something you've done before that you're currently ashamed of? Or have you always being a saint?

Love forgives and forget, if you truly love her you'll forget about it and block that guys number.

Love is also about letting her go to be with somebody who accepts her sexuality and way of life, if you love somebody you want that person to be happy, if this lady is a lesbian for real then forget it, she will always fancy another girl even after marriage.

People are saying forgive her because its her past...no its not her past, For any girl to like women to the point of being an escort and having a love-vendor then that is not just try-sexual, she is into it.

However, I am planning to apply in SEPTEMBER but i am a bit confused.. I run a savings account with diamond bank and i receive a salary of 250k every month from xyz company... i am also into importation of tokunbo cars and i use this same account for the transactions.... in february i sold 3 cars and the money was deposited into the salary account.... would like to know if i should use the account for the visa application... i have the bill of lading all in my name as proof.... the cars are being sold by my friends who has a car mart.....please advise....
Your salary is good, you can use the account but take time to explain other money that goes in it and attach documents to support the source

I paid online recently but I can't recall it giving me any issues. Maybe I was lucky.

I advise you still try and make the payment online before you go to avoid unnecessary drama and time wastage. Your appointment page comes up after paying and that's the first thing they check before you are allowed into the building.

It's better you go early and finish early cuz the system was consistently having network issues when I went so those that didn't come early would have had to come back the following day.

Bebe2, many thanks for the tip on using the registered envelope. It saved me the stress of traveling down 10 days after for collection.
Yea I fear that , they turned people away the first time I went there, people who traveled as far as Scotland without booking appointment.

Thanks though, will work on it this week.

@justwise no am traveling alone as I said am d one who is interested in buying things from the UK to sell here in naija. Am a final year student of UNIPORT so I don't have a job yet but I do have a savings acct for my small small coins
It will be a tight budget for you now because of exchange rate and cost of traveling during Xmas or Jan, traveling Feb or March will give you more better chance

I paid online, but it took time, becos the system was extremely slow. At a time I logged out of explorer and had to go use Firefox which was much better.

If its causing so much issue, then go straight to the embassy, but first print out ur details from the site just leave out the payment.

Am sure the will do something if they see u ve come all the way.
Nothing much has changed in that regard then, was the same case 5 years ago.

Did you book appointment or you went without one?

Thanks for your reply though

It wasn't bad. Much improved.

U need apply as if u are applying for new passport.

If u find it difficult to pay, to u can go there with ur card and pay at the embassy. Take a prepaid envelope and a postal order so u won't be going back and forth.

U shud be in and out within 90 mins.
Were you able to make the payment online or at the embassy? Getting through to the embassy to verify things is almost impossible, my old passport expired 2months ago and i need one for proof of ID as the company that needs it is refusing to accept my visa card and NL number as proof of ID. They have tried calling the embassy for verification but they are not picking. Hard to go for a new one.

He has receipts of sales he does personally which is stated in the contract that he is entitled to a certain number of goods every month for some period of years. But the receipts are still has the company's name on it . What else can he do to show the money is actually his aside the receipts?

I really can't think of anything he can do to show that the money is his, all he can do now is to present those receipts, the contract and explain in details how his business works.

Good morning house, please I need a lot of advice on UK visa application. I intend traveling with my husband and daughter by July, I have no traveling experience but my husband does ( been to the UK and Sweden). My husband runs a registered limited company with his brothers and he won't be using funds from the business for the trip.
He has his savings account and transactions are done on a daily basis cos he does other side business(not registered). And has a percentage of goods from the company which he sells personally as d largest shareholder. My question is
1. Does he have to provide receipts for the goods he sells personally as proof of funds in his account and the contract agreement?
2. Does he have to present personal tax clearance card or the tax clearance card for the business( but he isn't going to submit business account statements since he isn't the sole signatory)
Please need help because I have been reading about people getting rejected cos they can't explain their income
Does he get paid salary from the registered company and how much?

Hello House,
I, my husband and two kids travelled to the UK on a short visit and I would like to find out if there's any restrictions on the amount of items one can carry without wahala from Nigerian Customs or immigration coz we did lots of shopping (mostly baby cloths and shoes). Thanks.
Nigerian immigration can stop you just for anything, for them there is no rule. Under normal circumstances you should be fine.

@Justwise, greetings- sorry for the delay to reply engaged with work. don't really think I over budgeted it's just that the exchange rate was a factor to the increase in naira cost. Moreover it's not 3 months of my salary but my disposable income.
Also, I stated what I was going to do. Some few places to visit. I think the eco wasn't fair in this judgement.
What is your monthly salary?

Good Evening Bro Justwise and my people in this house, please can someone banned for 10 years by British High Commission in Abuja apply for Republic of ireland visa with the same passport that has UK refusal stamp on it? Though the stamp didn't show any indication that he was banned. It only show the visa refusal number ''80*6*28'' and ''UK Abuja'' on the stamped surface.

Justwise is correct, unless you have an Irish Citizen wife or children- an exception may be made in this case if the ban related to a non declaration or something small , but if has anything to do with document fraud it will be pretty difficult
True that.
