bebe2: It wasn't bad. Much improved.
U need apply as if u are applying for new passport.
If u find it difficult to pay, to u can go there with ur card and pay at the embassy. Take a prepaid envelope and a postal order so u won't be going back and forth.
U shud be in and out within 90 mins. Ok thanks. the last time i was there was in 2010 and got it within 3 weeks, though hectic but things were a bit better than i read online before going. |

port1976: Gents and ladies,
I have a brother that was banned for 10years in 2010 for not disclosing his previous application and passport with option of apapeal ( he was denied student visa in 2006 for not provoiding details. That was before E-paasport). He is now in good shape (good job and family),finacially comfortable with extensive travel experiences. The question is can he re apply for the UK Visa? Please note that the ban will expire in 2019. Sadly that stands, he should have appealed when given the opportunity. |

I also want to try this path but I really don't know what it takes to get a job in UK. if you have any useful information concerning this, please share. God bless Help yourself and read it here and see if you meet the requirement for any work visa listed here https://www.gov.uk/browse/visas-immigration/work-visas |

aaa33: Hello VisaOfficer I need an advice/views about what am about to post here. I applied for American student visa in 2002. Before then I had attend and written a SAT exams in Lagos. Its a company that we paid to then to write the exams . On the day of my interview in Abuja. I was asked every document which I presented until the lady asked me if I wrote SAT I said yes. She demanded for it and I presented it to her. After a close look at it she flared up that its fake and showed a colleague of hers and he confirmed its fake. She said she ain't gonna allow me enter her country and stamped my passport after inputting some stuff to her computer. Its been years since that happened. I already finished my bsc here in Nigeria and my Msc is in view presently. I have a paid employment and am relatively doing well. The issue now is was I banned? If I go to apply for a visa again will the last incidence crop up? I lost the last passport to fire and intend to go do anothe. Pls what's your candid take on this. Kind regards. You asked this same question last Sept 2014 and VO gave you this reply >> abujaniv: We cannot comment on a specific case in this forum. The only way to know if you are permanently ineligible is to apply again and ask the consular officer at your interview. You should be as straightforward as you can during your interview about your past refusal if you are asked about it. This is a good reminder to all of the younger readers on Nairaland that what happens at one visa interview can have a long impact. Make sure that you always bring valid documents to your visa interviews because while in your current circumstances you might not qualify for a visa, you might be qualified in the future and will not want to be found ineligible based on something that happened in your youth. Why have you not taken this ^^advice from the VO? |

akereconfi: I know, but it's affecting majority of my colleagues in Hungary. They can't work there, most of them are have been ejected from their rented apartment and are living with their friends. They depend solely on their parents back home for survival. We in the UK, we can work but others can't.
I was issued with 10 hours working permit instead of 20 hours, although I work. But sincerely my exams are just few weeks from now and I need to put in more effort to get my desired grades I thought you are studying in an university and not college any more? |

IamZinah: They have paid mine but haven't paid the my colleagues in other schools.
Students in Czech Republic had their studies terminated yesterday. If you want proof, I can tender them Oh good then look for part time job while you wait for the payment. You will survive on part time job pretty well, you can fit in 20hrs a week with your studies easily. Summer holiday is just a month away and you can work full time...i know its not easy but you wouldn't want to get depressed in the UK. |

Again you never ready chop. You need to fix your mentality. You don't sound like you were ever hungry. Otherwise when hunger waya you, and landlord corner you, then you will know that the hustle is real.
I worked fulltime during my final year at Uni...and I knew people then who worked 2 jobs and still finished with 1st class and 2:1.
Talk is cheap. |

IamZinah: My Tuition is 12,000 pounds.
Tell me how a student can raise that alone, and also save for accommodation, feeding and transport, from taking part time jobs.
You just exposed yourself that you know NOTHING about what you were saying.
Use google and show me any part time job that pays up to 12k pounds annually or you want them to start illegal and shady business so they get into problem with the immigration and police. Have they paid your fees or are you talking about fees, rent, bills and feeding? |
