Not always the case, VAF= Visa Application Form ...is just a reference number, whether denied or issued the number will be used to contact you. |

EZEIGBO1OFIMO: 1. They sit down in their "Advanced country" homes and come to the internet to tell us how useless Nigeria is, meanwhile we all contributed to the ills as a lawless, fōolish generation. 2. They hold stūpid conferences on tackling Nigeria/African problems right there in the "Advanced Country". How can a mountain goat help a dolphin, when it doesnt even live close to the sea. 3. they all practice REVERSE RACISM- they will happily bash blacks/Nigeria at every little chance they get, but can lick the áss of a white guy just to prove nothing. "Hell hole" "useless country" "useless Nigerians" are common phrases. N.B- Not all diasporans are useless, but over 97.674% of them are. SOURCE- AKAMU+STEW+BITTERLEAF 1. Every Nigerian complain about the same thing including those in Nigeria, so what is your point? 2. Location of the conference makes no difference at least they care, how many conferences held in Nigeria yield positive result? 3. Nigerian in Nigeria say worst things about Nigeria and fellow Nigerians so what difference does it make when Nigerians abroad say it? |

shilling: Hello Nairaland,
Does anyone happen to have a number for the Nigerian immigration service? I lost my passport and need approval from Abuja to have a new one issued.
The Nigerian High Commission in Ottawa has said this authorization is difficult to get so they want people to go to Nigeria to get it directly.
If there's someone to contact in Abuja to issue this letter, it would be greatly appreciated.
The number on their website +23497806771 isn't working.
Can this be on the front page? This will save a lot of Nairalanders the time and money of having to travel to Abuja from Canada/Us/Australia. Your best bet is to get TC from Nigerian embassy and visit Nigeria, you cant get passport replacement by proxy |

Can I fill before paying for visa fee or pay visa fee first before accessing the site. I'm not sure about that link as i have never used one before, some people here will be able to help. You have complete the form first before paying. I also tried to open it but was unsuccessful. |

allen0000: @Justwise, please can you let me know how to go about it, First I know how to fill the form and visa fee but can I go to the embassy without having a registered company and how to justify my income, bear in mind, I am into property development, investment, management, rental and property acquisition, I have properties but my mistake is I have no registered company. how about if the VO asked me what I do for a living, this is my fear and what will I answer. NOTE: I have been reading all the comments and post here starting from page 0 and i am in page 150 now Yes your company is not registered but there is nothing you can do about that now, you can't register it now and start backdating documents to line with your earnings. Go to the interview with your business documents as they are and be absolutely honest during your interview. Nothing wrong with saying....that your business is not registered but this is how you earned the money in your bank account. Your performance at the interview makes the difference |

Nita2013: Oga Justwise kilode na. Pls na I kno that though we r all adults here some pple still insult one another but I believe we cann actually make our points by not usin harsh words too. ("Don't be silly" )
No one can force d other to use a particular doctor. If one has an experience it's ok to let us know and it's up to us to decide whether to take it or not. I remember when some pple criticised MIHS but I still went ahead to use them and my experience was fantastic.
Also reviews r meant to guide us but onne thing I av noticed is that d whites expect exceptional service and when a little thing is done that they don't like, they put up bbad reviews.
Just like d reviews online for Crossland, they were nothing to write home about but one NL member told me to ignore d reviews I see online and I actually stayed there without avin those experiences that pple stated in their review. So I guess it's different withh individuals. Maybe because we r Nigerians so we r used to poor services and keep quiet about it (not me though cos I must talk) so we don't really see d smallest fault as regards services rendered abroad.
In all let's just calm down pls. No need to be insulting one another
My two cents oh. 'Please don't be silly' is NOT an insult. Its not the same as saying...'you are silly' |

bloggerina: Oga justwise, there r gud reviews there too. Una no see dat one? Again, I repeat, I have experienced Dr Huynh's services personally and will def be using her again (if no awoof package like mihs former price gets published). I did NOT experience ANY of the negative things mentioned in those reviews al all! She was professional, very thorough, kind, answered all my questions and she insisted I do all the tests on her ob-package. She accepted all my naija test results and deciphered things in my ultrasound that my St Nicholas gynae didn't even sniff at all. I come from a family of doctors so I am not a learner on medical practises.
Pls do not discredit a good doctor because of reviews only.
On one of my visits, we all waited for her for over an hour. Her staff gently explained dat she was called in for a stat c-section (emergency) so we all waited patiently and when she returned, she apologised. Wetin remain? She has been with WHMC for 13yrs so she must be doing smth right I guess. I still remember the names of all her staff and I got some nice freebies from her office too.
Anybody can write online reviews so don't base ur decisions on dem alone.
Just my personal opinion/experience. Hope it helps.
Cheers! Please don't be silly. Did i create that website or post a review there? How about respecting other people's view? |

bloggerina: When you put up a post like that, you are def discrediting that doctor. Everybody picked that up, even those that have no interest in that doctor.
Bia justwise, 13 oyinbo reviews out of thousands , seriously? What's this all about biko? I hate to bagger words...
How about we put up our own reviews instead? Thousands from where? In total only 15 people reviewed her services and 13 were negative while 2 people posted positive reviews. Your single positive experience is not a benchmark, other people have the right to express their views as well. If you want to post your review then go to that website and argue with those who did not enjoy her service. |

That's my personal experience. I wld def recommEnd Dr Huynh anyday. How can you say they are wrong and want us to believe your personal review? 15 people posted their reviews on that website only about two people have positive things to say about her, so 13 people are all making things up? |

freecocoa: Will you hit your mum back if she hits you? It's a yes or no answer. You asked me the same question yesterday and i answered you, stop comparing MIL to biological mother, the relationship is uniquely different, my love and respect for my mother is something i was born with, its natural, with MIL you try to endure, tolerate, accommodate especially with meddling MIL, but to a point you crack when she is becoming over bearing. I will never hit my mother back, will i hit back to an annoying, abusive MIL who hits me? Why not. |

freecocoa: I have said it yesterday that, if you can't see your MIL as your mum, then I totally have no business discussing this with you.
I don't even have to see or literally take elderly people as my parents to know I'm not supposed to get physical with them. I will see my MIL as my mother if she behaves like one, but if she behaves like MIL from hell then I got no problem showing her the exit door. |
