piica: i wish u have brain u do respect people, but obviously your last transplant has faltered,Bleep off my threadI respect people but you are not one. |
alexray: @justwise justwise: That system hasn't worked in other threads i split into categories, people will still post random questions in both, typical example are the UK and US visa lottery threads, lets see how this goes though. |
Ishilove: Em...eskiz sir, sorry to butt in sir, but I believe brain transplants cost more than thatHe can go for fish brain, better than what he got now. |
MrPrsdent: Even for the visitor's visa, not everybody will be required to pay bond. Those applying for 6months visiting visa |
piica: see youself mr wisooo keep it up$1200 + $300 +$400....gone!! and you here shamelessly talking rubbish. You should have used that money to get brain transplant. |
Salmoneus: It could backfire as a negative incentive, if someone pays that money to enter they may feel entitled to stay as long as they want, after all the 'paid' the government. They will waste the 3000 pounds and still get deported if caught |
MrPrsdent: The bond will not apply to all Nigerians but to those the consular officer feels are high risk travelers. Those who they aren't sure will return to Nigeria. Those who would ordinarily be denied visas. Not for all visa types, its only for those applying for visitor's visa |
adaobi123:He doesn't even need to do that, with student visa nobody care how you made your money, all they want to see is that you have the whole money |
tstonch: it is an information i picked from this thread, didnt copy their names or links to quote them but stuffs like students are not allowed to own biz or work independently were mentioned in several posts and i need to ascertain what my position as a forex trader is as i plan to even mention that in my application.Yes foreign students are not allowed to own business, that is not the same as working part time. If you are caught trading forex then you have a lot of explanation to do, mentioning that in your application is silly only if your course has something to do with forex trading. You are allowed to pick up part time job and you can sponsor yourself as well |
tstonch: @justwise, i trade forex fulltime and hope to sponsor myself for study in the UK, come winter 2014. from the informations i gathered here, students are forbiden to work or sponsor themselves. so my question is this, for someone in my position what is the best way to apply for student visa?.Where did you gather that from? |
piica: Rant as you like didn't open the thread for mr.too know like you rather for vulnerable folks like me so facebushI rather be 'Mr.too know' than brainless like you. |
Muhammad Javed: Dear Justwise please do you know the reason why visa are delayed and I called the embassy directly but they refused to tell me anything.Sometimes it does take more than 20 working days. Call them tomorrow and see, i guess your visa will be ready a week starting tomorrow |
solomonwis: The labour backbenchers and the Asian community leaders protested the idea back in 1999 and I expect the same this time. Already the liberal Democrat Business Secretary is criticizing the policy.I'm sorry bro they are, those countries listed have their reputations, this is not about the ECO labeling them |
sola21: Many thanks for your response. My net is N360,000 whilst the gross is N400',000. My boyfriend presently lives in a 2bedroom shared apartment with his friend after my child and I moved. Pls does it matter that my boyfriend is on psw and does it matter that they might question why I have used the psw thrice to come into uk and spent three weeks in April, another 3week in October then 1week in january 2013. Also when the company writes my letter do they have to put it in that I have been there since April 2012 . Also do I ply for a 2years or 5years as I have had two years twice before I switched into other visa categories though its going to be my child's first application as I had him in uk in 2010 and he only becam my dependent visa the post study work permit. ThanksYour bf being on PSW and your frequent travel history will not affect your application. Since you have had two yrs visa twice then apply for 5yrs visa. Your company don't need to include that, the BHC have all your travel history already |
solomonwis: I seriously doubt this seeing the light of the day. The idea of paying £1,000 deposit bond by "high risk" countries was first muted in 1999 and nothing happened and now this!I think it will this time with the current govt. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2346756/Visitors-India-high-risk-countries-Asia-Africa-forced-pay-3-000-cash-bond-enter-UK.html |
ogakpatakpata: hahahahah...........General Justwise, you are cracking me up with laughter, just like you said, so many people will still continue to fall as prey in the hands of agents, some people just want to sit down with bread & butter plus hot coffee, not willing/ready to prepare and plan their trip, hence they become cheap prey in the hands of agents......I mean...God! seriously!! what is wrong with people ....... agent asked me to pay $200 and i paid, he later asked me to pay $400 and i paid...bla bla bla.....paying for what? Then after taking you to the cleaner you came to yawn dust? Give me a break!! |
piica: yes i av graduated what else can u sayI don't feel sorry for people like you. |
MRbrownJAY: but bros, remember that the money will be returned if they decide to abide by the rules of the tourist visa they have been offered....so if they come back home in time, then they lose nothing.Sure but not every traveler can afford the bond to start with. |
piica: I responde to mr.love advert for dubai visa with jod bt he is full of lies, want others to learn from me,i spoke with him and he asked me to come with my passport to this address.Congratulation! You have graduated from the school of commonsense. |
NaijaIhail: @JUSTWISE.....abeg bro! Am sorry for disturbing o....abeg, I don make up my mind to apply for 2months Student Visitor Visa but like I said, I don pay for "1month" accommodation...That will not be a problem as your course is 2wks. |
galala123: Britain plans £3000 visa bonds for Nigerians, othersThis got nothing to do with student visa |
sola21: Dear just wise, I have been following up on your advice and responses to people. Pls I need your advice based on uk visa. I started getting uk visas since 2002 from 6 mths visa to 2 years twice and in the year 2007 I went to study a post graduate diploma in a particular course whose duration was 18 mths including internship. I got 2 years student visa from Nigeria then after the completion of the postgraduate I plied for a masters degree in the uk and came back to Nigeria to get another student visa in 2009 . During my masters , I had a child in 2010 with my boyfriend who was also doing his masters in uk. Though he started his masters 4 mths after I had started mine. After the completion of my masters I got a post study work permit which started from march 2011 till 2013' my child also got the dependent . In January 2012 I came job hunting in Nigeria and I got a job in April so travelled to uk with my child on the psw to shop and we spent 3 weeks as the father of my son was already on psw and was working then we returned and travelled again with my child in oct 2012 and we spent almost 3 was again. I also made another trip to the uk again in jan 2013 with the psw though spent a week. The psw expired in march 2013'. The point now is I want to apply for a visiting visa with my child but don't knw if I should apply for a visitors visa but remember I said my boyfriend the father of my child is still on psw in the uk and his expired in niv2013 or is it family visitor. Also as nth parents name are on our child's birth certificate . Also I work in nigerianand I presently have 1.5 million in my current acct.i can get a letter from my office etc. another question is would the consular officer raise a brow on the times I used the psw and times I stayed in Nigeria and would they request why I was still using it when I already got a job in Nigeria. Also is it better to apply for a visitor visa with my son even if they knw hisnfathernis on psw there to expire in November. Pls I would very much appreciate your advice. Thnk youIts ok to apply for family visiting visa, does your bf have adequate accommodation suitable for family of 3? What is your monthly salary? |
MRbrownJAY: some desperate people often pay much more than that, to these unscrupulous visa agents, so this will be an easy way out........ unless they would still have to go through the BS they are going through just to have the opportunity to travel to the UK.I think this will have real effect on people wishing to visit the UK, it will reduce the number,3000 pounds is a lot of money for many |
Happy birthday bro |
