No its not important, the person is too lazy to read this thread from page one. He would have seen answers to his question long ago.

eduson33: ooops!,

my post's hidden..
guess i have the right to ask.
justwise, why did you hide my post??
Sure you got every right to ask.

Your post was hidden because of the video clip on your handle.

If you are promoting any song then do that in music section, not pasting it in every thread you post on.

fiscalcliff: Evening Justwise and thread contributors who spit insight by their replies, I got my CAS today though my school resumes first week of October, please how soon can I apply for my visa?
I believe I once saw 3months to resumption somewhere
Am I mistaken?

Also,I plan on visiting continental Europe after my first semester and during summer, can I process my visa over there or would I have to process it from here?
If from here under what category would I apply for it since no one from there is extending an invitation to me?
would i have to have gotten my UK visa first?
also which european country do you think is most favourable and open towards such an application?

Thanks for the replies
1. Yes its 3months before the resumption date.

2.Yes you can apply for visa from the UK.

3.I don't think there is any favorable or non favorable EU country for that as far as i know.

La Parisienne: I haven't been to a lot of countries in the world, but I've been to a handful and it's none of your business. You might want to stay on topic.

I know Nigeria more than you think I do, not just from video clips of hungry people. Nice try. I'm just incredibly disappointed that a country with such vast amount of both human and natural resources can be where Nigeria is right now.

I dunno, maybe things will change. And I pray they do. But I really don't care about forced patriotism. Home is where I want it to be, being a woman makes it a lot easier for me.
There is nothing you have written here that shows that you knew jack about Nigeria, if you knew much about Nigeria then sh&ithole will be far from your mouth.
Travel › Re: Stop Trying To Get People To Go To Africa, We All Know It's A Sh*thole by justwise(mod): 9:24am On Apr 09, 2013
La Parisienne: Why don't you go ahead and tell me about the developed states which you claim are more than the underdeveloped ones? I might want to visit them, or probably research on them for attitudinal change. Other persons reading this thread might be interested too.

Yeah, the things I listed are not peculiar to Nigeria. But they are miles more profound in Nigeria than in any other country I've ever been to.

Like I stated in my 3rd post, calling Nigeria a sh!thole might be a bit of a stretch. So no offense to anyone. If you want to take it personal, that's your bizwaxx.
No you should have visited at least half of the 36 states then speak from an informed position. How many countries have you visited to be able to compare like-to-like with Nigeria?

Many people who have such opinion about Nigeria don't even own a passport let alone been to Nigeria, they watched few clips from NGOs showing malnourished Africans begging for donation from International community and think the whole of Africa is like that.
Travel › Re: Stop Trying To Get People To Go To Africa, We All Know It's A Sh*thole by justwise(mod): 12:48am On Apr 09, 2013
La Parisienne: Lol. I was about to take you seriously until you said this. Nigeria's problems are huge, not just short comings in a few areas. And it will take a lot of time to solve these problems

Poor quality of life is not relative. Poor quality of education is not relative. Bad roads and poor infrastructures are not relative. Lack of access to quality healthcare facilities is not relative etc etc etc.

Believe what you want, we are all entitled to our opinions.

ETA: Nigeria has 36 states, could you list out the ones you call ''developed''? I'd love to see them
Again all that you listed is not peculiar to Nigeria, i could see the sense in your argument if you are talking about some states but to suggest that Nigeria as whole is a sh#thole is nothing short of madness.

What is the point of telling you states that are developed in Nigeria when you have your opinion about Nigeria already? Will you visit those states to investigate?

Surely its your opinion, opinions they say... are like a backside, everybody got it, some good and some pretty 'shitty'
Travel › Re: Stop Trying To Get People To Go To Africa, We All Know It's A Sh*thole by justwise(mod): 7:58pm On Apr 08, 2013
La Parisienne: Ok fine, Nigeria isn't entirely a sh!thole. States like Lagos, Akwa Ibom, Enugu and a few others are slowly showing signs of improvement, but most of the country is massively underdeveloped. Poor quality of life, uber corrupt leaders, a few individuals owning oil blocks, terrible roads and infrastructures, poor healthcare system, poor system of education.... I could go on and on.

Nigeria is an Embarrassment.
There are more developed states in Nigeria than under-developed ones, corruption does not make Nigeria a sh4thole as this could be found in other developed countries, poor quality of life is relative which again is common in many countries around the world. Saying that Nigeria is a sh$thole because of our short-comings in some areas is just Ignorant
Travel › Re: Stop Trying To Get People To Go To Africa, We All Know It's A Sh*thole by justwise(mod): 6:43pm On Apr 08, 2013
La Parisienne: I don't know about other African countries. But in regards to Nigeria, the comment is spot on.

Have to disagree with you on that. Its ridiculous to call Nigeria a sh$thole.

jugzy: @ Just wise, my 6 months old has been issued a 6 months visa. She was issued the visa today, but her name was wrongly spelt. We have taken the passport to BHC in Walter carrington. Do u have an idea of how long it takes? The security guards could not give us a definite time. I gather they will send a message to BHC Abuja who give BhC lagos the authority to re-issue the Visa. Pls advise. Tnx
That will not take long, it all depend on how fast the passport gets to them, shouldn't take longer than a week.

Vicjustice: Yes, the child is a proof that there was intimacy involved in the relationship, but it doesn't represent a proof of credibility or sustainability: know that Visa Officers are aware of immigrants using pregnancy and kids as a device to obtain leave to remain (even if this may not be your case).
Like i said earlier, it is not impossible to get over this, but it is going to be an uphill and time-consuming battle to prove the credibility of your marriage, and it must be a spouse visa that might help you at the long run even as i maintain that i have not seen any one who got success after a ban
I totally understand where you are coming from, not stating that she was married in her application was a serious mistake and the ECO banned her which is not out of place.

If she can prove the legitimate of her marriage, proof of communication between her and her husband, met the financial requirement and come clean about her previous immigration offense(s) then she has a good chance of getting a visa, even 'if' the ECO refused her because of the previous offense...she will get right of appeal and its a winnable case.

@davymen Be careful who you are contacting about anything that has to do with money and visa, Dubstic is a visa agent, if i were you i will stay away from him.

whymyheart: House i need your advise i applied for student visa in the year 2008 but i was refused that i used forged waec certificate and the result was seized by British embassy i was asked to appeal which i did also attached Waec scratch card that would enable the eco to check genuity of my Waec online yet my appeal was turned down which i didn't know what really going on but i am very sure of my result because i personal sat for the exams myself at ile ife i had to reapply in year 2009 eco said i was caught for using forged Waec certificate in the year 2008 this time around 2009 my sister supported company registration certificate was also forged i was banned for 10 years I decided to abandon travel i had to follow up my HND because i finished my OND from polytechnic of Ibadan in year 2007 instead to pursue my HND my sister wants me to go uk and continue my study there i was given unconditional offer from Anglia college 2 weeks later before my submission the house i was staying got burnt before the fire fighter could come many of my vital documents as burnt included my Waec certificate i have inform my sister about situation of my result and she sensed this could caused obstacle for my travel to uk to further my studies she has to contact our neighbor who works with corporate affair commission here in Ibadan because he was also the one that helped her registered her company certificate some years back about my plight he now told my sister that he has someone that works with Waec head office in Lagos that he would call the person and he would let us know what it takes to retrieve new Waec certificate that very night he called my sister that it will cost 30,000 to get the result because we were in need of it urgently my sister gave him the money and handed over my burnt certificate to him,a week later he brought new certificate exactly as my details appeared on my burnt document After i got refused in the year 2009 i thought going to uk was not my way i went back for my HND in year 2010 which i later finished January 2013 my school asked me to bring my credentials for verification and i didn't have my waec certificate with me since it been seized by British embassy in 2008 only have photocopy with me i now took the photo copy to waec office in Lagos it was there i got to know that they don't reprint certificate only to stamp ad legalized court affidavit this made me to think twice and realized that the person my sister contacted in year 2008 must have presented fake re issue waec result to my sister i and my sister went to corporate affair to check the geniuty of company registration he did for my sister we discover he didn't do register my sister company we went straight to police station and got him arrested along the line police made thoroughly house search in his apartment some incriminative documents were found in his house included my burnt waec certificate now that am done with my Hnd i will like to pursue my PGD in uk i want to know if i can write for letter of reconsideration if the ban on my previous application could be lifted so that i can go ahead with my plans[/color]
Sorry to read about what happened to you but i doubt if the ban can be lifted, if you guy had gone through the official route you wouldn't have given fake WAEC certificates, that is the price we pay in Nigeria for using 'man-no-man'
