naiko: @justwise,now i understand you clearly but one last question.can i use the normal application form that i will have to fill myself(not online o).cos i also printed one and filled with pen that way i will discontinue with the online form.many thanks, please advise
There is a reason why it was changed from hand-filled form to online, maybe because of hand-writing issues. There is no point using hand-filled one when you are instructed to fill it online.

naiko: @ justwise, the page isnt opening.if i understand you clearly,am suppose to print out, sign, scan and submit?then print out the same form and take 2 VFS?i just want 2 get all this clear before proceeding
Why do you need to do all that? Fill the form online then print it out and sign and take it to VFS for submission.

Click on this link http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/countries/nigeria/applying/?langname=UK%20English, at the right hand side under Do it online click on Applying for visa online, at the bottom of that page, tick the box where is says: I have read the above information and the relevant guidance notes then click on continue and follow the instruction to complete the form

elder116: I will be traveling to Qatar soon, an agent helped me to get the visa for residence. My intention is to go and work, he was rightly informed that I need to legalize my certificates if I should work as a graduate. since they have no embassy in Nigeria, where do I take them to for legalization. your swift response will be appreciated.
The same 'agent' should help you do that.

fourfunmi: Thank vicjustice....I have read the post, yes that's my official salary but I still get commissions on my sales,I wuld av waited till the completion of the ogun state contract I bagged but my md doesn't think its wise since my commission will be seen as a suspicious lump sum since its a vry large amount.
My dilemma is the coy can actually afford d trip,if I wait and reapply and my commissions start to roll in,won't it look fake? And also, isn't my big commission enough proof that I'll be back?
Thanks all...@justwise pls relate to this post
How much do you think your commission will be?

fourfunmi: I submitted an introduction letter frm my coy stating my employment status and for how long I've been working aand their intention of funding the trip, another later of tax clearance certificate favour stating my tax is paid thru PAYE and the amount I pay
-Payslip from August
-coy statement of acc
-personal statement of acc
-tax certificate
-coy I.d card
-hotel booking for 10 days intended
-Birth certificate
-e-pass
Justwise, I'll like to add that no wrong info was give and the eco jst stated dt he/she wasn't satisfied cuz I dnt earn much and the coy acc is overdrawn bt the truth is dt the coy can actually fund it...my md wants to write them a stinker in d new application and wants to guaranty for me dt I'll be back.pls sir, I need to knw the ryt step
Thanks for the prompt answer,I can see you've been doing these for yrs...May God bless you.amen
If your coy account is overdrawn then they are not in the position financially to sponsor you, no matter how good your md letter is the ECO still want to see evidence of money in your coy's account to be able to fund the trip and still be able to run the coy in the Nigeria

I will be surprised if you are given a visa with this current situation.

d2ddayo: hi forum, though ve always shied away from this uk visa thread, but i thnk its best i just ask n know! i want to know if it is advisable for me to apply for a uk visa after i was denied an irish visa 2yrs ago? my story originated thus: i ve been travelling to ireland for like 5 times in 5years alongside germany and france and ve never over stayed or bridged any immigration laws except for my last application which i was refused with the major reason of "DECEIT". Was told that i didnt disclose that my father resides in ireland.... after then, i just didnt bother appealing or anything, instead i went to france emb, applied and was given like wise italian embassy went and returned as i have always done. now i am thinking of applying for a uk visa for a visit visa and maybe later this year, i might apply for ireland again as i was advised by the consular, that i will apply afresh if ever i want to and state my reasons and defend my self. please house what is your advice to my application to uk embassy, do they check in for each other or what? thanks

Apply and don't hold back the info about the refusal, if you met the condition then the refusal will not affect the outcome of the visa. Ireland and the UK shares immigration info.

dontgiveup1: @Sotaj, @Dis Guy, @Vctrokoye, @Justwise Thank you so much for your responses i really do appreciate each single word you all say.Im just coming from my solictor partnaining to the Administrative Review i intend to write because applying even in the future will still make this people take me for nobody if i still keep silent.Im sending out my review to them by Monday.Im worried applying to other European countries wont work because of my previous UK refusal stamps on my passport. I am thinking of trying India or Dubia. I was re-applying thinking what they are refusing me on i can make amendment not knowing i'm putting myself up for more refusal. Please, anymore advice if im doing the right thing?Thank you all and God bless.
Going to those places will not make any different, getting visa to those countries is not difficult, getting their visa stamp on your passport will not change much.

All the best with Admin review, takes time but does work sometimes if you have a strong case.

Really sorry to read your experiences, you shouldn't have applied as many as you did, that is the sound of desperation.

Give it sometime, like Dis Guy suggested try other EU countries.
]justwise l dont need hope from you or anyone ok,not even from someone who doesnt even know the position of the law............on this subject matter, you are wrong and very wrong at that.
if you are in a relationship with a British and you are here illegally then l will say you might be right justwise but for someone in a relationship with an EU national then l say you can get married here and apply for a RC and infact get it here without going home to sort it out.
for someone in a genuine relationship with an EU national,if you decide to go home with your spouse then you dont need to apply for spouse visa as suggested by justwise instead you apply for EEA FAMILY PERMIT from your home country......This permit usually takes about 3weeks, pronto!!!! you are back to the uk with your spouse and ready to apply for your RC
Then good, move on, we got nothing to offer each other, you believed that i'm wrong, do what you think that is right.

akin707: Maybe you should tell us here if those are not foul languages, what l have simply done is to let you know that you can make your opinion without using words that make the other party feel bad or feel like the door is shut against them.
You cant know everything and no one is encouraging illegal migration but for those in it, we say there is a way out.
I think by now you should have got the message, if you are looking for somebody to wipe your nose and lie to you just to give you false hope then look elsewhere, i will definitely tell you how i see it.

There is no door closed on anybody who want to accept the reality and return to his home country to get married to that EU or British citizen the re-enter with spouse visa and for those who want to bury their heads in the sand and keep quoting supposedly EU laws i say good luck to them.

If you are easily offended then don't bother reading my post.

Thank God that NHS treatment is free, the way you are going you may need an ambulance soon.

Man get over yourself, you are confused. Are you saying he is going nut because he happens to disagree with you?
You are really a confused follow, you change from post to post, we talked about having a strong tie when kids are involved before, scroll down to read it, your initial comment was that regardless of your status that one can get married here and get a stay. That was were the argument started.

Now it seems that your head is telling you something else. What do you call this justwise, is it polite to tell a fellow that he/she is confused just because of the sake of making a point on a public forum? justwise:

Even after studying here you still struggle to understand anything?
And what does this mean ?
i dont think you took the pain to read the link l posted because if you do, you will see that "illegal immigrant" can not only get married here but can also apply for RC here.
l think you need alot of reading to do on the EU directive/law.
Thank you.
So this is what you called foul language? Save money and get yourself a dictionary, you really need it.

Another thing is this...don't bother sweating over my opinion here, go ahead and marry as an illegal immigrant. You will learn from the experience

akin707: http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitecontent/documents/policyandlaw/ecis/chapter2.pdf?view=Binary

Note on Handling: Illegal Entry Cases
Some cases will involve a third country national who has entered the UK illegally.
However, since the introduction of the Certificate of Approval an illegal entrant may not
qualify for the issuing of a Certificate of Approval, and may therefore not be able to take
part in a civil marriage ceremony.
However, a marriage involving an illegal entrant and an EEA national may still take
place, and be regarded as legally valid, if it is a religious marriage conducted by the
Church of England or where a Certificate of Approval has been granted.
Should an illegal entrant marry or enter into a civil partnership with an EEA national they
will gain a right of residence under EC law as the spouse or civil partner of an EEA
national provided the EEA national is residing in the UK in accordance with the EEA
Regulations (and would therefore be entitled to a residence card).
We should ensure that, prior to granting a residence card, the Immigration Service is
informed of the decision so that any action against the person is stopped. We should
also ensure every effort has been made to obtain the applicant‟s file from the
Immigration Service prior to granting a residence card.
Please see Chapter 5 for further details about these case

The about quotation was taken from the EU Directive chapter 2(concerning an Eu national and their non EEA family member), l want justwise to read the above and also the Eu directive concerning the above.
The above was when the certificate of approval was still in force,However, with the scrapping of the COA, the decision is centered on the registrar office, again, your status does not really come into consideration at the registrar office provided you can provide evidence of nationality eg ID,Passport.
Th registrar office however, can report you to the ukba when they suspect that its a sham marriage, But if your marriage is genuine, you dont have anything to fear.
Seriously it appears that you can read but understanding is the problem here, i have said it over and over here that illegal immigrants can get married to an EU citizen but when you apply for a stay to UKBA your file before you got married will be called into question. I never mentioned anywhere that you will not be allowed to get married as an illegal immigrant.

This has happened many times, yes you are married to your wife but you don't have a stay, the legal battle ranges from months to years.

The choice is yours.

By the way....you made an allegation yesterday that i was swearing at people and i asked you to show me any evidence, i still haven't seen it.

Morayo747: There you go again. In the article the home office was trying to get rid of them because they committed serious crimes!! UKBA will NOT encourage overstayers to use an EU rule that they hate so much. They hate the rule but nonetheless they must respect it. If you don't live here please stop talking about what you don't know just from what you've read somewhere. I personally know a lot lot lot of people who've exploited this rule.I'm not misleading anyone I never said UK streets was paved with gold or once here you are guaranteed a good live. Morayo747: Where you live does matter as that will be the reason why you don't know anyone at all who's gone through this route except you're just arguing for argument sakes. There's no truth to hit me. I'm British already. I never overstayed I came here to study and met my wife (who's British) and its not a scam we have a child together. What I'm just saying is stop breaking people's hearts telling them they are in a hopeless situation when in fact there's plenty of hope.

Even after studying here you still struggle to understand anything?

Did you read where i said that they are better of applying from their home country? What is wrong with telling people the truth rather than lies just to be seen as a 'nice guy'?

Show me any law that tells you that illegal immigrants can get married in the UK and get a stay?

The fact that HomeOffice took those people to court is good enough to tell you that they have broken the law.

You are the one who is busy lying and misleading people here.

Being British does not mean you know jack about your own law, in most cases the British citizens are the most naive individuals you will ever come across when it comes to their own immigration laws.
