You will not be interviewed or anything when submitting your form. They only collect your visa application form and submit to UK embassy for processing.

smartmachine: yes..in d document he sent, there is a new number on it and he told me to use it that way and that they have already informed the ukba about change in start date.

what do u think sir?
That number he sent you is what matters, that is the number CAS, you only need to fill in that number in your visa application form then print that email he sent and attach it to your visa application package.

WILL THAT WORK?

When you said personal US bank account...do you work to pay into the account or the school fees account?

Your uncle is right about the red-flag though.

gunuvi: Sure, suspecting the mod of trying to get varieties of opinions from everyone by first supporting the op from the beginning cos I believe he or she should have known better. And if you look at my post after that, I gave her my blessing after realising that she is still sticking to her stand. NL is full of folks who might wants to seek for opinions before attempting.
gunuvi: I am still expecting your words o. As my comments may be cryptic to you but sure very understandable to most NL. It is a pity Naija will be better sha and very soon, everyone will have a free will to share their feelings without discrimination or coercion. No one is an island of knowledge.

Know better about what exactly? What are you driving at?

philebrown333: Yello People here is a real life and little mistake people do when it get to stage of buying ticket.
i had a guy from this same nairaland who bought ticket from me. He contacted me for ticket which i did invited him to my office at Ikeja and afterwards he purchased a one way ticket. against my advice because it was cheaper something of 10,000 difference but he said they should accept that since he is a student and was going for a 3yrs course well i did as he ordered only to get to the airport, he called me that they refused a one way ticket God saved him that day he was with money he had to buy a return before he was allowed to travel against his budget. Now here is another sroty a guy who already got his ticket and has traveled to north cyprus also called me from there telling me he wants to sell his return ticket and i boldly told him that no where in this world that can be possible and here is my advice as an experienced expert travel agent don't play the game of a penny wise pound folish that little money you will forfeit is not something close to the reward which you will get at the end of your study. the law says it a return ticket so is it dont let just becos of little spoil your integrity. the cost of a return ticket is just some few thousand difference you can let go from a one way ticket. If you need a fast and adiceable, way to book and buy a cheap ticket then you are on track.
Your ticket touting in this thread will not be accepted, i have had this issue with you many times before, you served ban because of this before and you are back again doing the same thing?

eyoniggar: @OP, you are getting more bashing than normal response to your original post. Simply scan the visa page and post it here on Nairaland, scan it in such a way that vital info wnt be revealed on here.

My Wife had travelled to US twice btwn 2009-2011 on visitors VISA, she was issued one year VISA twice those visits, and she only spent two weeks the first time, and spent 3 weeks the second time. Last year august, she applied, then she was given multiple this time and was never asked a single question about being pregnant and all that in which she was already 4months pregos then.

She gave birth December and the hospital bill was crazy, the clinic bills alone was up to $6,000, while the hospital bill was like 16,000 dollars plus, I quickly seek solution as to how I can take care of the bills. My cousin over there advised that my wife should apply for an emergency medical insurance for the hospital bill only, then we can pay the clinic bills ourselves. I was able to pay $4,320 out of the clinic bills, 2 days after making the payment over a month period after applying for the medical insurance, my wife received response from the hospital that the Medical insurance has been approved, not only for the hospital bill, but also for her clinic bills, I was really surprised. Now sorry OP for derailing your thread, but is any1 here that knows about this medical insurance? Will it affect my wife when next she wants to re-apply? If it will affect her, I might have to make proper arrangements to make the payment, but is there anyway to cancel the insurance coverage? Kinda confused. Any help would do.
Why should she do that? Is either people believe her or they believe what they want.

mypearl: pls i need the advice of the house. in 2009 while planning for my wedding i applied for a UK visa with the intention of going to shop for the wedding but was denied. Reason was I had too much money that was not part of my salary. I asked my husband to use the acct then for his business so large sums was moving in and out of it thinking it will improve my chances. the denial letter stated i had too much money which was not accounted for in my application. though there was the option of appeal i didnt border.
Now my husband and i with our 7mnth old baby wants to travel for summer. in order to avoid errors we decided to use an agent.I wanted to change my passport data to bear my husband's name but the agent adviced against it.
but my concern now is that do i stand a chance with my old passprt? the agent is charging us about N350k.Is that not too high? his reason is that he is charging that much cos i have been denied before.
we have the neccessary funds for this trip. i work and my husband works and does business on the side. our joint sal is above 500k
Do i need to change my passport or i shld use the current one as advised by d agent.
is the agent chg not too expensive? is my refusal to appeal going to affect my chances?

Justwise and others pls advice
In addition to what Dis Guy said.....get another passport that will have your husband's name and don't forget to state that you have been refused a visa before and state the reason(s) why you were refused.

Include your marriage certificate, family pictures, your kids birth certificate, bank statement, list of places you tend to visit in the UK, min-budget on how much the trip will cost the whole family. Proof of adequate accommodation for the whole family...etc

Vikin: Read the news source, from daily mail I think...they said she is from port harcourt , Nigeria.

They must have done their enquiry before publishing such.
Just noticed where daily mail mentioned that she is a Nigerian, the girl's accent sound nothing like a Nigerian girl who has only being in the UK for 2yrs. That is typical Jamaican London accent and not Nigerian.

Did people actually read the news or watch the clip? Where did it mention on that clip that the girl is a Nigerian? There was no mention of Nigeria anywhere in that clip of the original article.

Gina is not a Nigerian name, that is a Jamaican name

Siena: Jeeze dude. What next? You so want this lady to be denied a visa, just so you can say you were proved right? At least be the big man, and admit you were wrong, it's no big deal.

I for one am glad Mamathrice got her visa granted, proof that honesty does pay in the end. She made a mistake, and learned from it. Not all VO's / Immigration Officials are monsters.
Couldn't have said it better.
