You can't pay them through bank transfer* red flag.

They told you they are going to get you job according to your qualifications, i.e if you are a doctor you will work in Canada as a doctor* red flag

There repayment policy, you will be repaying them here in Nigeria* red flag

I was told if I apply this week, I will leave Nigeria by December* red flag.

1/2congrats on the 30 years work need to pay . We will complete the congrats in 2045 when the payments is completed either by you or you kids . In Najia most of our houses is paid for and we don't bother about interest rate hike affecting our monthly payments of mortgages like the bank of England 2.2 hike will make payments jump from 2000 pounds per months to 2600 .in some part of Nijia you can build a house for 60 to 70m and sell you 80 to 90m making 20m profits (zero tax ) .

Personally I don’t pay because I don’t watch any live bbc programmes or even sports.
I do YouTube live from time to time ,
The last time that license guy visited,I told him I only watch YouTube live on my phone when I’m out of the house/at work
He was Amazed/dazed at the same time.They never returned

Are you joking? The TV License covers a particular home address. So technically, you can actually take your TV to the park each time you wanna watch any of the covered programmes and you owe no one.

If you're working and earning a regular income, a TV licence is not a big deal, why give yourself unnecessary stress about what to watch when you can just pay for the damn thing and watch what you want on any device any day or time. It doesn't worth all the long conversations here. You can either pay £159 at once or you pay monthly. Additionally, you can use the license for other things like proof of address. And if you don't earn a regular income or you're not buoyant enough to pay for the license, why have a TV in the first place?

Finally, in these days of online entertainment and sports, there's no way you will not watch an online live event for which a TV licence is also needed. Get a TV licence and enjoy yourself to the fullest, simple.

Having a TV doesn't mean you have to pay the TV license. You pay that if you watch the government channels like BBC and co. If you only use it for gaming, Netflix etc, there's no obligation to pay. Don't mind all those letters they send with threats - they are mass mailers they use to bully people who get scared easily into paying.

The issues will arise if you have a aerial or other broadcast-receiving equipment connected, but even that is not definite proof because technically, you can watch some channels on a catch-up basis without needing a license.

In summary, if you know you don't watch TV, make sure you don't have an aerial connected and if they come allow them in to see.

Thank you for this clarification, sadly Mr eagleeye seems not to get it as he's only looking to call out agents with no apparent reason other than the fact that they are agents.
These guys have been providing useful information here and suddenly they went MIA leaving certain questions without replies. Mr Frank and others rarely assist with answers to questions here and you will agree with me that if questions dont get answered then the thread wouldn't be as useful as expected.
We need people with experience other than applicants like us, you understand.
