Sleek05: He didn't get it from a fake college, he got it frm a mushroom one-buildin uni as there are so many of dem in d UK.
Being in one building does not mean that their qualification is not recognized as long as the university is duly registered with the Higher education authority in the UK.

The person need to tell people where exactly he got his masters from.

Vicjustice, if u remember i asked you about the ticket and you said it is not a requirement and i told him, and he got exactly the same reply from the VFS that buying ticket and submit it with application is not a requirement, which means you are right, so he also confirm it again from them to be very sure.

So, he mailed them again to re-confirm if Micro Finance statement is acceptable because thats where he has enough money, and they replied him that ''Yes''

Although i have helped him confirm again from a friend of mine i heard he recently used his Micro Finance too, but i decided to ask you and others here to be very sure even before he contacted the Vfs Embassy too.

He is a friend to me, so i just want to render the best help i can and thats what am doing.

Infact i must confess to you that i was the one ask him to contact the vfs by email directly or call them, and he did.

He has called me more than 10 times this morning that he is confused about the Pay Slip and his Micro Finance, the problem is he is getting income in cash and no pay slip purposely because the company he's managing is owned by his junior sister and her husband. So he's the one paying salary in cash too to people working under him. Your full advice will be appreciated if you can go through the lists of his available documents. Thanks.
Sleek05: I agree with u if u can live and work there after ur masters, but if u can't, den it makes no sense 2me. Dere r so many mushroom unis in jand, I kno sum1 who despite havin a UK masters degree came back 2 naija and worked with his Bsc cuz his masters wasn't recognised. If u wil still come back to work in naija, do ur masters in naija, take prof courses, learn one or 2 int'l languages and u'l be just as fine.
How does that work? The school he graduated from in the UK is not recognized or what? Only if he got it from fake college.

I beg to differ on this. These individuals are alleged to have committed a crime by claiming to be graduates of an Institution of Higher learning without having enrolled into, been assessed by and deemed qualified by the institution of learning.
Allegedly? If it was just an allegation why then was their names and other personal details published?
Its not about being cocky afterall the McLaren's have the fastest car out there. At least for the last two races. They aren't just managing their resources well enough! The way everyone keeps going about the Red Bulls like the other guys are driving Keke Napep. I agree anybody can have a bad day but Vettel has had his! Remember Monza? Anyway let's cut the speech and Martin Luther chat! You think Ham has a chance then put your money where your mouth is grin grin

Team orders my blockus! Who does not know that Webber is naturally slow off the blocks? Alonso woulda overtaken him too afterall he passed a quicker Hamilton
Webber and Massa are puppies to Vettel and Alonso, they are there to fulfill all righteousness, Webber just gave way for Vettle from start, no challenge at all, LW had a bad day yes and that can be any driver's position any racing day, with the number of races remaining you can not write off LW
Sebastian Vettel wins the 2012 Korean Grand Prix!!!!! 3 in a row now

Where is that ninja that wanted to bet on Hamilton grin grin grin he is 10th
Don't get cocky yet, the race is still open, any driver can have a bad day in office, couple of wks ago Alonso was having a healthy lead now its completely wiped out, that can happen to Vettel as well no matter how good his car is at the moment.

Webber definitely obeyed team order from start, you don't need to be a rocket scientics to see that.

mrrock: The UK do not have an elected head of state just like most of the midle east. I see no democracy there. It's a highly hypocritical state living on past glory.
The Prime Minister is elected and he is the head of the Govt, the Queen is just a ceremonial head of state, the UK practices the monarch system of Govt, so what are you talking about?

What democracy are you talking about? They conduct free and fair election every 5yrs, freedom of speech exist and political parties are allowed to operate without intimidation and assassinations

dove30: . Thanks justwise its the same way I feel that is why I just decided to do the 7200 just in case they want to come up with an excuse but my concern now is that should I mark established presence on the form and then write in the space for additional comments provided that I have marked established presence however I have provided the money for 9 months or I should just mark the initial application and leave them to do the mathematics by themselves.what do you feel
If you have the 7200 then it doesn't matter whichever one you mark, you will still be ok.

dove30: . Are we talking of the same form because this is what is written on the form .POINTS BASED SYSTEM APPENDIX 8 (APR 2012) TIER 4 (GENERAL) STUDENT
SELF-ASSESSMENT This form is for use outside the UK only This form is provided free of charge.and the link to the form is. http://www.google.co.uk/url?q=http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitecontent/applicationforms/visas/vaf9-app81.pdf&sa=U&ei=daJ5UJzxD4aEhQfS7IGACQ&ved=0CBwQFjAA&usg=AFQjCNFMCSVRSNW-x8d_FzXXfTYi8fnSxQ
My only concern is that the period between the completion of your previous course and the start of the new one is more that 4months. In the link you provided it says: Further period of study following a course completed more than four months ago (No reduced maintenance level) (6.5)

However.... going by policy guidance you are qualified for reduced maintenance money because you have an established presence in the UK no matter where you are applying from.

I don't think the ECO will hold that against you if you met all other requirements.

dove30: . Yes justwise have been in the uk since last year september untill july making it 11 months.I came back to nigeria july ending.I would be using the normal tier 4 apllication form vaf9 appendix 8.established presence is in part 6.9 and 6.10 of the form if you have the form and it is explained futher in the tier 4 policy guidiance form(148. A Tier 4 (General) student (including Post-graduate Doctors and Sabbatical Offcers) has an established presence studying in the UK if he/she has current entry clearance, leave to enter or leave to remain as a Tier 4 migrant, as a student, or as a Post-graduate Doctor or Dentist when applying for further leave and on the date of application he/she:
• has fnished a single course that was at least six months long within the applicant’s last period of entry clearance, leave to enter or leave to remain, or
• is applying for a continued study on a single course where the applicant has completed at least six months of that course. Copied from the policy guidiance.item 148.
Tier 4 Policy Guidance )
I know about the section you are talking about, did you retain your address in the UK? On top of that form is written: This form is for students who are already in the United Kingdom to apply to study under Tier 4 (General

I'm a bit worried about that cos you will be applying from Nigeria

You live longer than 6 months in the UK with visiting visa as a first time applicant, you will only be given 6 months visa which you can't extend in the UK.

Hello justwise has a naija guy I thought of that and have kept that in the account.but when filling the form now should I mark d section for esatblished presence or initil appliction because they stated there that you don't have to be in the uk to qualify for established presence that if you have a current student visa and finished the course and you are applying not more than 4 months after your visa expires you qualify.I read this in the guidiance.just wnt to clrify again with you peeps that have more ideas.
How long did you lived in the UK, when did u go back to Nigeria and which application form will you be using?

dove30: Good day all!! I greet all the peeps in the house.JUSTWISE I hail O!!! Please I need ideas in ere again o! I finished my hnd programme 1st of june in the uk and had a resit in july.my visa was also to finish august 1st.for the reason of my resit being towards when my visa would expire I had to write the exam and come to nigeria immidiately so I won't over stay.my results are now out and I passed the HND.but now I want to do the top up year to get the BA.it starts in february 11.I plan on applying this movember since you can apply three months before your course starts.the thing I don't get clear now is this established presence.would I qualify under this category since I finished study in june and my entry clearance finished august 1st.or do I have to put the whole 7200 pounds in the account for maintanance or would 1600 do for my case since I just left the uk .do I qualify for the established presence?abeg my people and just wise wetin una feel
Since you are applying from Nigeria i guess you should keep £7200 in your account for the 28days, it would have been a different case of you were still in the UK.
