AugustApplicant: If you can prove you used a consultant to file in your papers for visa and that you are not privy to whatever document he submitted that was fake. You WIN the case. Its simple. Yes you get a BAN (2yrs) but atleast you get back your docs in good time.
You win no case, you are responsible for whatever document submitted on your behalf, if an agent is working for you then you are expected to give the agent original document to submit on your behalf. Agent submitted fake document for me is not an excuse, you are an adult and such be responsible for the application.

The Canadian embassy will ban you then you sue the agent.

nora544: It is very good what they make with this scamer.

I am a white lady and i work against this scamer, and this yahoo boys sometimes are very good but not good enough for me. I know so much about this yahoo boys and not all from nigeria. You cannot imagine how fast this boys fell in love with you. All want to marrry you very fast. I have a profil on tagged and in my profil they can read that i am in an realationship, but this didnot help me to get no messages from this yahoo boys.

So i am very happy what happen now in nigeria with this yahoo boys that they have to go to jail, I can tell you how they work but it is better not to tell this on a side like this because they can learn, what i do is when i have the real pic from him than i put it on a special side that everyboedy can see that he is a scamer.
Not all white woman are rich, some feel alone and want only love not more so they give all the money they didnot need to this boys because this boys could write so good letters and some are very good.

The big days for this boys are over since one year and that is good.
You can be sure that the picture you have is their actual picture only of you got it from their webcam screen.

They nick pictures very all sorts of places to pass it as theirs

Lanreclassic: I can't just believe this is coming from my highly respected justwise...these guys uses diabolical powers, hidden IP,and a whole lots of international partners.
Is it a crime to trust someone?..y is this so particular about Nigeria?....its Good will call a spade a spade.

NOTE:Many are watching your comments, you cant afford to misled them
#myThoughts
Yes i'm not messing about with my comment here, the money should be given to EFCC and next time these silly women should pay for the investigation.

Enough, far enough coverage has been given to this issue around the world mostly in America, UK, Australia and Malaysia, do not send money to strangers you met online, i can give you clips after clips of this issue being highlighted, tv programs being done to educate people about this same romance scam.

Almost all the women in these programs deliberately refused to listen to warnings from family members, its not one way traffic, these women have to share of the blame.

Yes we should trust people but do it with sense, picture is not an evidence that somebody is really, phone calls is not an evidence, foreign IP address or not, the warning is still the same, Do Not Send Money To People You Met Online.

But if you risk it then blame yourself and don't come out crying foul.

I have undying hatred for yahoo yahoo boys/419ners/scammers and at the same time i can't stand people who keep feeding these criminals despite the warnings the coverage.

coogar: oh shut your mouth and spare me your holier than thou attitude!
if i am not mistaken, this rich white woman picked you out of the lot, started sending love messages to you, offered you money without any form of co-operation from you? who are you? van vicker junior?

we don't know how long they met before she started sending money. you don't know if she did these tests and the boy passed. these boys don't start asking money from day one. they win the trust of these women, make them fall in live before they start asking for money. have you forgotten the documentary channel 4 showed some years back - this naija dude that followed a british woman to south africa for her surgery? the woman said nothing else mattered anymore because the guy stood by her during her most difficult moment - the boy went on to defraud her of £400,000 and the woman didn't give a damn - all that is in her head was just the fact the boy stood by her in the hospital!

many of these women don't want to come to naija - the boys even discourage the idea unless they are in it for marriage! so sending money becomes the only avenue to facilitate their meeting up! the woman sent the money so the boy could meet her in america, not because she's promised 90% share of his N360 billion inheritance!
The case of British woman and the Nigerian in SA is different, the woman went to SA to meet the Nigerian, it was while she was there that she went for the surgery and the Nigerian stood by her, at least they have some physical contact the emotional connection, she valued his support more than anything else.

If they don't want to go to Nigerian and prefer using their money to buy love then when they got defrauded they should not jump to the press to paint Nigeria black.

They should cry over there silliness and shut up. Family members might have warned them but they keep sending money but the moment it hits them they run to the press to cry their eyes out.

coogar: stop being naive, justwise! many people met their partners through the same means and there was no case of fraud! have u not seen the same naija boys in the lagos registry signing the dotted lines and marrying white women? so why should this woman think differently? when few of these links to messy, we blame the victims! when it works out, you don't say shyte! the money is nothing to most of these white women, it's the deception and being taken for a ride that kills them the most!

efcc do nothing! they have no tracking devices, no database, no voice recognition software, no fingerprint machine, no dna ish.....they are just a bunch of zombies who craft their arts in jungle investigation! they go to internet cafes and arrest people randomly! they rely solely on these white victims for information to nab nigerian criminals! other than that, what can they do?
coogar its completely silly to send such amount of money to somebody you never met, all she has is picture and it could be anybody's picture. Yes it does work out for some and those are those who took their time to know who they are dealing with.

Refusing to send money and insisting on meeting that person first is one of the ways to find out more about the real motive behind the..... 'i love you'....
Crime › Re: UNILAG Student Jailed For Defrauding An American Lady by justwise(m): 10:07am On Oct 12, 2012
coogar: which yeye effort? if the woman didn't report the crime to efcc, keep time-logs of phone conversations and evidence of money remittance, would the efcc have caught the criminal? the woman got defrauded.....she ought to be paid back!

oh please!
the criminals use uk/usa as their country of residence these days! some of them even use oyibo pictures to deceive their victims - why would you blame the woman for sending money to her boyfriend? you should blame the fraudster, don't blame the kind-hearted people.
Boyfriend? The one she saw and knew for real that he does exist? Boyfriend that started demanding money before they even met? She is a complete dumb and stupid.

Yes EFCC deserve the money for their time, Nigerian Govt should not be wasting money investigating a case like this, the stupid woman should fund the investigation.
Crime › Re: UNILAG Student Jailed For Defrauding An American Lady by justwise(m): 9:53am On Oct 12, 2012
The money should not be returned to the woman it should be given to EFCC for their effort. The woman is silly and i don't feel sorry for her.

Despite all the warnings in the press some people still send money to strangers and cry foul after?

beejaybida: Good evening all. I applied for a renewal for me and fresh tourist visa for my wife and my daughter, 3weeks ago. I got a rejection today which shocked me really. The ECO wrote " you have made available for the trip 1.2m which is about 9 times your stated monthly income. This cost is disproportionate to the benefit you would obtain as a tourist and am unsatisfied that your trip is realistic in your case. Therefore on the balance of probabilities, am not satisfied that you are genuinely seeking entry or that you intend to leave the UK at the end of the visit". Here are my concerns:
1. My total emolument (even stated in the intro letter from my employers to ECO) is about 6m, broken down into monthly salary of 140k and various allowances which account for the rest.
2. I attached a schedule of travel expenses which indicated that the trip will cost us around 650k from the 1.2m available then.
3. I included my employment letter, promotion letter, leave letter, staff I.D copy, all to prove employment and landed property to prove ties.
4. My bank statement had a turnover in excess of 4m in d 6 months directly traceable to my employers even from the bank narrations.
5. I attached tour bookings and places to see in London etc.
6. I didn't break any laws or cause any trouble the first time I went.
7. I gave detailed explanation of my finances in section 9 of the form, making sure I tied every inflow in my account to a particular allowance etc
8. The current account I used is solely for official salary purposes only.

Please, what did I do wrong? Was the ECO just having a bad day? What do I do now?
How long have you being with your company?

Some people here can afford to type loads of bullocks, my view about this sort of punishment will not change as long as innocent individuals are not killed.

Jungle justices will not work in a country where the citizens have faith in the judicial system and the police because they know that justices will be done when an armed robber or a murderer is arrested.

If you go out to terrorist, steal and kill your victims then you have signed your death certificate as well. Yes jungle justices is not the best way to go but in a system where crime keep going up, armed robbers rules, kidnapping becomes lucrative business, going to the bank is not safe, churches used to be the safest place before but not the same in Nigeria anymore as one could be blown up worshiping God.

You can sound as liberal as you but it gets a time in life when people can not stand a watch anymore and take a revenge.

Does getting a job(graduate position, permanent) as an int student automatically mean that the company(your employer) is ready to sponsor you? please what are your experiences....

It's beginning to look like the real advantage of being here is not so much the masters program itself but the opportunities it affords one to interact with prospective employers and the chance to get a job.At least that's how I see it. This past week I have been to 4 recruitment events, very good companies and I have the whole of November and December scheduled to attend one event or the other all in school, all within Aberdeen.

Interestingly, all the employment is literally based on the first degree cheesy. This is amazing. Before i'm done with first semester, the deadline for application would have passed for most of these companies and by Dec/Jan you already know how far if they have taken you to start work Sept 2013
That is what it means, if they gave you a job as a foreign student then they will assist you with the necessary documents for work permit application.

Family › Re: Advise Him: He Got This Mail From His Wife by justwise(m): 9:38pm On Oct 07, 2012
disturbedman: Dear NLders, your constructive input is needed at this critical time of my life. I have been married to my wife for over ten years now and we are blessed with three very lovely children. Our marriage was more than relatively peaceful for the first 4 to 5 years or so. However, it has been a life of cat and mouse for the better part of the last 5 to 6 years. On few occasions, privileged relatives from both sides have intervened to settle some tough marital issues for us.

Two days ago we had another quarrel and we have been keeping our distances. That is, avoiding real communication and only talking when necessary. Yesterday I tried to start a reconciliation with my wife by texting her jokingly that I was outside playing with my daughter but not playing with her thinking that she will reply appropriately and we can get talking again. But she didn't! Just as I was thinking how to sit her down for a chat after returning from her work, I opened my mail and got this very annoying mail from her! I am seriously upset and disturbed right now that I feel like a failed man. My reply to her mail was "Noted. As your lordship pleases".

Now dear friends, what do you think I should do?

Her is her mail:

Let me add that there is no question about my love for her. But she has become insulting and very disrespectful even at the slightest opportunity. For example, there was an argument sometimes ago and I said to my wife "O go fun nkan ti o so yen (you are stupid to have said that)" to which she replied "iwo naa go. O go o fi enu ho ara (you are more than stupid as well)"

Of course her mail is full of exaggerations but disputing the contents is not my motive here. I very well know that she does not really want a divorce. But how do you forgive and forget this type of insults from your wife whom you are already quarreling with over similar issues?
I don't know your wife but i think you have put her through a lot, she got the courage to pure her heart out but from the look of things you still don't think she got right to air her views.

Take her seriously for a change.

oyb: i have absolutely no sympathy for cultists

they chose to play a dangerous game - what kind of person sneaks into a persons house with a knife?

say all you want, they are fine boys from rich families etal - for them to have gotten to the level where they will go as a gang of five with a gun and knives to a persons house says plenty.

can't have been their first time

i wonder what other rites of passage to the top of the cult there are

perhaps kidnapping of a big man's daughter or carving up a rivals face are other ascension rites

they are simply a bunch of thugs whose luck ran out.

maybe if you ran into these boys back in school on your way from class at 12 midnight. .

you know in some cults, you have to r-ape a girl as an initiation rite?
Have to agree with you.
