It seems like the type of cheating you're referring to is physical (aka. sexual intercourse). If she could go to the extent of asking you to swear with the Bible because your word wasn't enough for her to believe you, it's only fair that she gives you the same respect by doing the same. I know if someone asks me to do such a thing, they gotta be ready to follow suit, otherwise I would deduce their refusal as hypocritical and that they're not particularly innocent of what they're accusing me of. Sometimes when people cheat or have cheated, they'll accuse their partner of cheating; it's a form of gaslighting. It's something men do but women can also play that game.

I was like, who owns this? And he said they normally give them at the hotel. Chai!!! This guy can lie for Africa. Like seriously, who gives guys shower caps? So, I told him, you've been camping a lady in this house and he said, "don't start". I just kept quiet because we only just got back together after months.

I later checked his wardrobe again when he stepped out and found more shower caps.

Now, don't call me dumb. I know what I'm saying. That guy was a serial cheat. In fact, that was why I later dumped him and faced my life and God.

Reminds me of where I was living before relocating... I’m a freelancer with fiverr and I have deadlines for client deliveries. I rarely sleep and my gen was constantly on sometimes due to power failure and other times due to faulty prepaid meter. That’s what put food on my table.
You really don’t know if his meter is faulty. If he turns on the gen every time as you said (day and night) then he’s obviously working from home... and it’s cheaper to put money on prepaid than to buy fuel 24/7

Hello nairalanders, Please as I am typing this short piece, am seriously boiling with rage as am unable to sleep. There is a building beside my house where one of the occupants is always putting on his gen at any slightest opportunity of NEPA outage.

The most annoying aspect is that he uses the generator deep into the night and the noise usually affects my sleep. Presently, there is light in the area but I guess they did not recharge their prepaid meter so he switched on his generator since around 7pm and he is yet to switch it off as am typing.

Is a tenant given the right to switch in his gen overnight while denying others the right to good night rest. I am thinking of reporting him to the appropriate Lagos State authority but don't know which one can take it up seriously.

If na Naija now, the new courses would probably be;

2. Banditry and Insurgency Control
3. Unemployment Management
4. Party politics

There is no need for too much noise. The lady on the background was right. All she needs to do is show us a debit alert from her bank. I guess she doesn't have that. If we calm down and just calmly ask the right questions, we can at the very least get a scammer to admit that He/she is a scammer at least for the disgrace and humiliation.

Very possible... but then, he’ll forgive because if the father did not abandon him, he’d probably die under his care. If the man had opened a “gofundme” to support in helping his child, the response wouldn’t have been as great as it is right now. The child is lucky his father bolted.
