I agree with Ezinwannem. The fact that you have a permit to reside in Europe hopefully in an EU country is a huge difference. Forget about the ties stuff. As long as you have a job and could return to your base, I don't forsee any problem getting a Visa as a tourist. The working Visa though might be additional legwork. Also, you might want to check up on the Canadian embassy website. It might surprise you that you might end up not actually not needing a visa. |

Imme: Thank you so much Ess for your detail information on Ghana.
Please do i need a visa to travel to Ghana? i have a valid passport and intends to travel by road.
Secondly, i'm planning to travel with my 10months old baby but she does not have an international passport yet, will i be allowed to travel wt her?
Anybody with useful info on these shld please provide.
I remain royal. You don't need a Visa to travel to Ghana or any country in ECOWAS. About your baby, I'm not sure if she'd need a passport. To be on the safe side, I'd say at least some form of Identifcation for her since that might be the only proof that she's yours and not someone else's. Their phone number in Lagos is here. did the brits came to Lagos legally or illegally? My point exactly. No human being is illegal. They started shouting illegal after they've looted our goods and are now being paid back in their own coin. |

I beg to differ on all those crying wolf. While the measure may not be perfect, it's a welcome development. One shouldn't throw out the baby with bath water so to speak. For example, the allowance of sharebuy backs by firms is a move in the right direction. If all the measures are implemented to the letter, I think the bull run could be sustained. Coupled with already depressed prices, I think it's an opportunity to snap up bargains. If the companies are churning out bad results then it's a different ball game. But with companies releasing good results and prices still crashing, what other buy signal does one need? I say buy in tranches. Be greedy when others are fearful and fearful when others are greedy. |

The person who bought IAA welldone, start to determine your exit price. Please speak with your broker to make sure it is a N2 ordinary share he sold to you at that crazy price. If so not too bad. Napolean: Tomorrow is not by invitation only. MTI is available from your brokers at about N3. price is changing its better for one to pay the price rather that write a cheque for 2.70 and have it returned after monts without interest. Some peole who went into Chams blindly may find this happening.
If you want MTI or whichever company tell your broker you have filled the form in and want to buy. Some do not like clients doing pp because unless they are a broker to the offer they do not get comission. They would rather you daily churn whether you benefit or not. Elder Napolean, what is your opinion on MTI? I looked at the prospectus and it was laden with errors. Their huge loss in '06 is also a concern. Thanks. |

Thanks for the information that is really an eye opener, i wasnt given a list when i applied for the share plus in July as i was only interested in Firstbank, it was when money was returned that i was sent the list 2 months ago.
I will speak to my broker first thing tomorrow morning and ask for the list that was in operation when i took out the facility. You may try speaking to your broker but it might not get you anywhere regarding the list in effect at the time. I have the same shareplus and have the old list. The list has been heavily pruned hence the paltry 21 stocks. I raised the issue with them as well few months back but they said this is the effective list. @Roughcut, I'm not sure 1st Bank would let one buy any stock without restriction. If they do, I might consider them but the monthly interest thing is a big draw back for me. |
